As a bigger girl, waxing, especially Brazilians and glutes, was something I was initially very nervous and self-conscious about. Monique has never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged in any way. She creates such a safe and positive environment that I actually look forward to my appointments with her. She radiates so much positive energy, has an amazing attitude, and is so easy to talk to. She holds a conversation effortlessly and makes the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. While her waxing skills are absolutely amazing, her people skills are truly through the roof. Monique puts 110% effort into every service she provides and has incredible attention to detail. I get Brazilians and glutes done with her, and she always takes the time to go back over everything and make sure she gets every single hair. I never feel like she is rushing through an appointment just to get to the next client. She is also extremely knowledgeable about esthetics and skincare. I have sensitive skin and have dealt with ingrown hairs, and Monique has always taken the time to educate me on what products I should be using and how to properly care for my skin between appointments. You can tell that she genuinely knows her craft and cares about getting the best possible results for every client. Monique's dedication is also incredible. Even throughout her pregnancy, she continues to show up and give her clients the same amazing level of service, which says so much about her work ethic, drive, and commitment to the people who trust her with their services. The ear waxing process was also much more painful than I've experienced before, and during it, wax got into the hair near my ear. After several minutes of trying to remove it with some kind of liquid, the only solution ended up being cutting that piece of hair off because the wax wouldn't come out. Overall, not a good experience and I won't be returning.

It's basically a big ball of melted sugar and some lemon juice that gets smoothed on your skin and rolled off. No strips or burning. Jen is great. She asks me about my weekend plans, my family, etc. to distract from the pain (yes it still hurts, but not as bad as waxing, I swear!). She's so fast and doesn't have to go over the same area over and over. She has great hours. She's an independent businesswoman who runs a clean and honest practice. What more do you need?

I am 68 and have been receiving services in salons since I was 19 and have never had this happen so frequently before. I had to move on to a new shop.

I've been going there for nine years. I would recommend threading over waxing, but that's just me give her a try. Love the service very clean. Been going there about five or 67 years to they do a good job. The owner was there on Wednesday Kiki and did my and she handled a customer that acted like a Karen from Danville very well. They are pretty fast and normally the wait isn't too long. The only reason why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes they would cut my eyelid a bit while threading I have a lot of baby hair underneath my eyebrows so sometimes it can get tricky. But, overall they do a good enough job for me to keep on coming back. They also have a loyalty program where if you get 10 services you get one free. The vibe in the store is pretty chill. They usually play Indian music in the background.

After doing laser hair removal and having adverse affects from it I started going to Silky Touch…read more Out of no where I started growing thick chin hair which I never had before laser hair removal. I knew the only way to get rid of it was to get electrolysis.. which honestly was the best decision ever! The location is fabulous of Silky Touch. It's in a very safe and quiet area with lots of parking, a secure building and a very very VERY clean treatment room. I completed 10 1 hr sessions over the course of 11 months and now my chin, sideburns and upper lip are all hair free! ROMA IS INCREDIBLE!!! She is incredibly meticulous and extremely detail oriented. Everything about the experience I was impressed with. Excellent bedside manner and so great at what she does! My before and afters speak for themselves.
