After doing laser hair removal and having adverse affects from it I started going to Silky Touch. Out of no where I started growing thick chin hair which I never had before laser hair removal. I knew the only way to get rid of it was to get electrolysis.. which honestly was the best decision ever! The location is fabulous of Silky Touch. It's in a very safe and quiet area with lots of parking, a secure building and a very very VERY clean treatment room. I completed 10 1 hr sessions over the course of 11 months and now my chin, sideburns and upper lip are all hair free! ROMA IS INCREDIBLE!!! She is incredibly meticulous and extremely detail oriented. Everything about the experience I was impressed with. Excellent bedside manner and so great at what she does! My before and afters speak for themselves. This would not have been possible without Roma and Silky Touch. *I also think their prices are incredibly reasonable. Heck! I had my first electrolysis appointment here. The person who greeted me was very welcoming and sweet. However, the person who did my electrolysis wasn't the best. Maybe it wasn't the best day but she did not introduce herself or the process, or even talk at all. I was extremely nervous going to into it and that just made me more nervous especially for my first time. The whole experience was nerve-racking and I had no comfort during any of it. My appointment was also long and perhaps this is normal, but I have two small patches without hair on my face and I was not informed on how it would look or where we would start. Maryna is amazing! She has eagle eyes to find all the sneaky hairs. I have had 3 hour long sessions for chin/under chin hairs & it was money well spent. Maryna explained to me how hair growth changes as we age, why it felt like the hairs I plucked were showing up the next day, they grow in 'waves' not all at the same time. Maryna, who does electrolysis and skin care at Silky Touch, is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She's good at everything she offers, especially electrolysis, which I've been getting for a few years. I've seen different electrologists but she is by far the best in terms of skill. She never pulls the hairs out without destroying the follicles and yet, she still finds the balance of not hurting my skin as well. She quickly gets an understanding of exactly what settings are right for all different hair types. Another thing I love about going to her is that she really cares about getting to know people. She remembers everything that we talked about in the previous sessions and I always leave with a smile on my face. I've had other electrologists who can't talk and work well at the same time, but Maryna finds the perfect balance, which is nice because her sweetness and kindness really takes the pain out of every session.
