Ate here today by myself after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 7 Q for dinner to try this place out. I ate 3 plates of 4 sushi with different plate colors and also different types of sushi to slowly eat and enjoy it that it tasted quite good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and friendly. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)
I was suprised by the quality of this conveyor belt sushi spot. We only had 3 plates from the conveyor belt because we wanted pieces. The salmon was excellent. The rice was warm with a hint of vinegar just how I like it. Even the ikura was fresh. The only piece I didnt enjoy was the mackerel. Save that for omakase spots.

Quality here ranges from poor to average, but with the prices being a tad bit pricier than your neighborhood sushi spot. Come here for the novelty, but other that that you can skip if you're not looking for relatively mediocre sushi.
This business is owned by the sweetest woman who always makes sure her guests are happy! Their sushi is delicious, be sure to give their bento boxes a try as well! For the price, it's definitely worth getting! I also highly recommend the bubble tea :) My family and I have been coming here for a long time, and we're more than happy every time. They now have special platters for any small (socially distanced) events you may be having, for a good price as well! Make sure to check this place out!
Was preparing to order breakfast in the mall from McDonald's and noticed the price of an egg McMuffin was $7 and Kido Sushi had a three roll special for $11 so I decided to give them a try. I began with a hot green tea, followed by the special and enjoyed it. I opted for the avocado roll, and two spicy salmon rolls with avocado. They also serve bubble tea. I ordered the green Apple green tea, with mixed fruit boba. The tea was really good, I wasn't to excited about the fruit boba. I would have preferred the traditional pearl pop. The restaurant is located in the food court of the mall right below the escalators. The set up is more in line of a restaurant vs the other restaurants in the food court where you walk up, order, then find a seat at the tables in the food court. Kido's seating is for their patrons only. You walk up, if you opt to dine in, they will allow you to chose your seat. Restaurant area was clean, and the food and service was good.
Kido Sushi is located in the food court in Queens Center Mall. It's in the center of the food court and has its own private seating (separate from the food court's seating). It's sort of between two escalators. There are large umbrellas covering most of the seats, which I guess would protect you if someone wanted to throw something off the side of an escalator. It's conveyor belt sushi. There are small, color-coded plates of food that move around on a belt. Each color corresponds to a price (listed on the menu). You grab whatever you want, and the staff figures out the price by looking at the plates. You can also order off a menu. It's a full-service, dine-in restaurant. They asked for proof of vaccination. Plenty of seating here. Much more space than the rest of the food court. The food was good enough. I half-way expected that food on the conveyor belt would be stale, but it wasn't. Cleanliness is an issue. The conveyor belt food containers looked grimey. Half of the covers had large cracks in them. The bowl my salad came in had random bits of food stuck to the outside. Kido sushi is one of the better restaurants in the mall's food court, though that's not really saying much.
Tucked smartly between the escalators on the ground floor of Queens Center Mall, kiddo sushi looks like a futuristic diner straight from the Jetsons. You place your order, and it comes to you, rather, by you, via conveyor. I had my meal to go but you can dine in. The staff is very nice and the food is good. The best part, (at least to me) is they have green tea ice cream! The bubble teas are very very good and the tapioca "bubbles" are tasty. I will definitely revisit if I find myself back out this way. I recommend the bento box!

Its right in between the escalators on the bottom floor of the food court with large white umbrellas to cover escalator riders. It's a cozy bystander feel restaurant with a Japanese styled sushi rotating bar. You choose which color you want and the price matches the color of the plate. You must try their blue heart tuna plate. It's very good. All the sushi was very fresh. Price gets a little pricey after several plates! Rating: 7/10
Only drawback of the place is the price/serving ratio of the sushi. It a bit on the expensive but I consider it par for the course considering getting a good fill of sushi will be around the $10 mark or more. Other than that, the atmosphere is nice and their Bento boxes are filling even though I can get that same thing elsewhere for $1.50 less. Well one more drawback would be a small variety of food they serve. Not as versatile or prominent compared to other sushi bars but what matters at the end of the day is the taste and how it's our prepared and they deliver on that. A solid 4 piece rating.

The prices were reasonable, i got two plates because I wasn't that hungry. The eel rolls were so tasty and fresh! Soft and flavourful. The second plate however, has been sitting too long on the belt and the batter was no longer crispy-bummer. I am surprised there wasn't many people at Kido Sushi at lunch time, the dishes would be more fresh if there were! I think I overtipped the waitress by accident, but oh well, I'm still a fan for the experience. Be careful of how much you can eat- it's like a buffet that keeps coming at you!
It's a humble sushi place at Queens Mall Food court. I like the touch of the conveyor belt, makes it more fun. It's not fancy, yes, but a nice place to grab quick lunch / dinner if you're in the area. And their sushi tastes good too! read more
I was shocked to see a 3 star review! I totally disagree! Ok it's not fancy and it's in a mall and the service is mediocre at best . But the sushi is delicious and tasty. I think to many many sushi restaurants around the world and this one is pretty close. I ordered the lunch special three rolls for $12 and I got the salad which was pretty big. Not bad at all. I suggest you come give it a try. read more

Got the takeout sushi before it closed for the night. I ordered 3 different rolls for $22. It wasn't bad but you have to eat it . The next day my avocado roll was spoiled. read more

Food was really good, and came quick! Not much to say about service, they showed us to our seats and didn't make much conversation. Which, could be good or bad depending on the type of person you are. Ambiance was moderate, can't expect much from a populated food court. read more

I stopped here for a quick bite while shopping at Queens Mall! The conveyor belt where fresh sushi dishes go around the counter picked my curiosity so I decided to give it a try! The sushi was fresh as you can tell by the foot traffic in this place... fresh dishes are placed most frequent! Besides the novelty and quickness, the place is just all right! read more

For sushi..im sorry, the food tasted so so..service was mediocre..i tried the agedashi tofu is way too far from the original, too crispy for the agedashi tofu..soya sauce not seasoned well. read more
Was in the mall and decided on some sushi small little place but I must say the food was pretty good they have a conveyor system that carries different items around would be better if they were labeled as far as the food we ordered some lunch special rolls they came out in a timely manner they tasted fresh although they seemed on the smaller side you get six pieces per roll but they were on the thinner side. Overall for it being mall sushi it wasn't bad kinda nice to have a fresh option other then fired foods. Try their fired California roll read more

Okay, so this isn't gourmet sushi. But did you really expect that in a mall food court? For what it is, the sushi is pretty tasty, though, and during "happy hour," (after 7pm most nights) the cost of $2.25 per plate (for all plates!) is a great deal. It's also the only rotary sushi spot in NYC at the moment to my knowledge, which adds an element of fun. read more

Soooooooooo Kido Sushi is a surprisingly decent sushi/Japanese food spot tucked away in the food court of the Queens Center Mall. I've eaten here a few times though and while they may not serve the world's best sushi, it's pretty damn good given their location. My favorite rolls here are their inside/out crispy eel, salmon tempura and their tempura shrimp. What also makes this place special is their fun conveyer belt (not my first conveyor belt sushi place, but still the only one I have seen in Queens) and their happy hour (which starts at 7pm!) which means every plate on the conveyer belt becomes $2. Their happy hour is especially great because you can see their sushi chefs hard at work and new things coming out in real-time so it's not like you're getting food that's been sitting out forever. $2 for fresh sushi, sashimi, salads and more during happy hour? Awesomepants. They also have delicious sparkling, peach saki and a full menu of things you can order should nothing on the conveyer belt catch your eye. This place is a steal! read more
1.5/2 for food: For a conveyor belt sushi restaurant I thought this was pretty good! We went for the happy hour special (all plates $2.25 for every plate 2 hours before closing). We were pleasantly surprised that the chefs continued to make food almost until 15 minutes before the end. The sushi was pretty fresh tasting and the ratio between the rice and salmon was reasonable. Compared to other conveyor belt sushi places I would say this was decent. 1.5/2 for service: The servers were pretty decent. They took our drink orders and came back with them fairly quickly. Since we didn't order off the menu I can't comment too much on service. 1/1 for overall experience: I really enjoyed the experience and the food. It's a bummer that the price went up to $2.25 a plate but we thought it was worth the experience. Keep in mind though that it really does up add quickly. It's easy to spend a good amount when the price is low. read more

The price is kind of expensive especially if the conveyor belt serve too little sushi per plate. They also increase the price by 0.25 cents. In Japan and other sushi restaurant, its a $1.00 per plate depending on the dish. Overall, wish they add more sushi in their plate for that kind of price. They also need more variations. read more

Sushi conveyor belt. Happy hour is at 7pm for $2.25 each plate any color plate. It's not worth it. There were nothing there but bunch of tiny little rolls with imitation crab which is the cheapest stuff. They tried to make it looks like it's worth it but you can see everything else other than the imitation crab is just tiny little bit. Not worth $2.25 for 3 tiny rolls. Spend your money else where. read more

Sushi is good and fresh because the conveyer belt has to be restocked constantly and the sushi guy has to keep making sushi. You could tell just on the color and taste of the salmon that it's good salmon. They charge by color of the plate, for example: white plate are $2:00, blue plates are $5:00, orange ones are 6:00, etc. Not bad for mall sushi and if you need a quick fix. read more

The only Moving Table that I know In queens. if you want to have a good deal then come after 6pm for happy hour. They charge 2.75 per plate and u get to choose a lot of varieties of sushi while the table is moving. I like their lemon ice tea also read more

I mean it looks pretty cute, but it's nothing all that. The food is very small and ends up being pretty expensive for how small it is. One plate has about four bites, that's not going to fill you if you're hungry. So I'd get another one that's about another four, still not really full. But then it added up to like 15 or 17 dollars and I was like absolutely not. The sushi isn't even that good, it's okay, still not that good. Not to mention the people there barely do their job and treat you with attitude. If you're into small sized decent sushi that's a little too priced, here ya go! read more

I really love their lunch special prices!! My usual order is spicy salmon and spicy tuna. Remember to order the spicy mayo!!! This isn't the best place ever but it will do when your in the mall and need something quick to eat. read more
