The staff members (both the hostess and our server) were both extremely friendly, sweet, and kind, which we really appreciated; they definitely deserve 5 stars if this review was solely based on their service! For the first 15 minutes, most of the revolving sushi never made its way to us due to where we were sitting, which you can see from the videos. Due to there being a selection limit on the tablet and having to wait 5 minutes before we can order again, we didn't get any food until about 15 minutes in. Some of the pieces had very thin slices as evident in the photos, and their selections are quite limited compared to other revolving sushi restaurants. However, the price is definitely quite fair if you are able to get the selections you want, and since this is AYCE, you can definitely eat your money's worth, especially if you sit by the front of the conveyor belt. Finally tried this revolving sushi restaurant in Linden. The ambiance is great, very well lit and servers and receptionists are friendly. Another pro is that it is toddler friendly. They have booster seats and high chairs for your little ones. Food is good but can't say anything outstanding that I can remember. The sushi is fresh and orders come quick. We arrived at 3:20 pm and was charged the dinner price already even though lunch hours is upto 3:30pm (we totally expected that but want to share in case it helps). Thai milk tea was great and probably the one that stood out for us. Total bill was $84 for two dinners and one milk tea. One star was deducted because the floors were wet on the aisle going towards the bathroom. I would expect they would pay more attention to that as servers walk through there a lot. It was my first time ever eating at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The concept is very cool but I noticed the seafood lacked quality and freshness, especially if it doesn't get eaten it stays on the conveyor belt. The restaurant is gorgeous inside. Very chic, modern Japanese decor. Clean and tidy. The most you can have at one table is four people. You use an iPad type screen to order your apps, non sushi items and it's delivered on the conveyor belt separate from the sushi conveyor belt. They offer hibachi, fried chicken, ramen soup and so much more! The fried chicken, calamari salad, seaweed salad, spicy ramen and takoyaki were my favorites! They offer dessert and boba as well. Other dishes were mediocre. You can order up to 9 items every 5 minutes so make sure you max out your order each time! It is very loud in the restaurant but it's fun and interactive. Located at Aviation Plaza in Linden, Supra Revolving Sushi is a conveyor belt sushi establishment, also known as a kaiten sushi restaurant, that is typically smaller in size compared to other restaurant types, where a few of my colleagues came for lunch. Upon entering this clean, modern, casual vibe as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff and got a table immediately that seats up to 4 patrons. Each table has an interactive touch screen menu that tells one about every sushi item on the bar, plus specialty dishes such as ramen or hibachi, and drinks available for order. Plates weaved around tables like a toy train, carrying everything from Gyozas, Seaweed Salad to Tuna Nigiri, and Spicy Tuna Rolls etc. We've decided on the AYCE (All You Can Eat). Each dish is secured in a bubble-like capsule that pops open once one grabs the plate with one's fingers. The speed of the belt is about the same as the one you'd grab your checked luggage from at the airport, so you have a few seconds to decide on your picks. If one misses a dish or likes it enough to take seconds, the menu repeats every 12 minutes or so. We really wanted to like this place because of how many wonderful reviews it had, but we left disappointed. The fish was cut super thin and didn't look appealing or taste fresh. The fried rice that accompanied the hibachi was cold. Some of the dishes were not labeled. My husband and I decided to go here for our Friday date night. The entrance is full of gacha machines and the inside makes you feel like you were transported to Japan. The conveyor belt works similar to Kura and the ordering system like Shinjuki Station where you can order flip to 6 items at a time every five minutes. There is a 90 minute time limit and you can see how much time you have left on the iPad. We were honestly full after 40 minutes. We ordered a mix of hot and cold food as we wanted to try as much as we could on the menu. I think our favorite nigiri was the salmon truffle as it was buttery smooth and had just enough truffle flavor. The one thing we really did not enjoy was the amount of rice. It was stickier than the usual sushi rice and you can definitely get full fast which I can understand why the restaurant did it from an ayce perspective. I also ordered a spiderhand roll for the soft shell crab to be cold, which means they fried it ahead of time earlier in the day. Additionally, my husband ordered the shrimp tempura and you could just tell it was frozen and not fresh based on the texture and breading as it was not traditional panko. We also ordered the tonkotsu ramen which did not look like the picture at all, the broth was very salty. For the items that were excellent was the miso soup! It had large pieces of tofu and real pieces of seaweed which I feel like is hard to find these days. The chicken skewers reminded me of the ones from Chinese buffets which are my favorite! It was juicy and tender but also humongous. If you were looking for yakitori style in a small bite form this isn't it. It seems like this restaurant prepped a lot of items ahead of time in order to turn over food quickly. Which makes sense since it's ayce with a time limit. Any time we ordered something on the iPad it would only take a couple minutes to come out. However, it seems they prepped ahead of time the wrong ingredients which skimps on quality. With that being said the wait staff was very attentive and checked in on us constantly. They cleared out our finished plates quickly. Came here with my work place associate for lunch. we didn't want to go to flaming grill and Kinya is not good anymore. I've seen so many ads on TikTok for this place especially the one with the pretty Spanish lady. The food is okay. the selection is not exciting. I love a fancy restaurant as much as the next Yelper, but sometimes a fun gimmick is all you need to get me into your restaurant. I first experienced conveyor belt sushi last year and instantly fell in love with it. When I saw one was being built in Aviation Plaza in Linden I was excited. The next closest one (that I know of) is in Edison so this is a much quicker drive from home. Even better, unlike the one in Edison this place is all you can eat with a limit of 1.5 hrs. Lunch is $21.99 and dinner is $32.99 (as of July 2025). Saturdays the price is $32.99 all day. Supra is located in the strip mall portion of Aviation that also has Hook & Reel and Gamestop. The newly built space is quite a surprise when you get inside. First you see the Supra logo and...Gashapon machines?! Yes, the front area has a bunch of machines for you to get blind boxed figures including Pokemon. The tokens are $2/piece so good luck! Move beyond that into the restaurant and beautiful decor greets you with light colored wood, lanterns hanging from the ceiling and illustrations of various Japanese foods on the walls. For those unfamiliar, a conveyor belt sushi is exactly what you'd expect from the name. Next to your booth is an opening to a conveyor belt. Dishes are put on the belt by the kitchen and a sign with the name of the dish glides by followed by about two to four dishes with two pieces of each dish on it. The dishes are all under a plastic dome. You just grab the dish at the edge and pull it out. The dome's cover pops up and you get the dish. It all happens very smoothly. I never had an issue removing any of the dishes. If you find that the dish you want isn't gliding by at any point, you *can* order it manually. A tablet is provided to you and you can order a maximum of four dishes every five minutes. These special orders wind up on a separate conveyor belt above the main one. The dishes will be sent to your table and stop for you to take (so keep your eyes open!). We tried a LOT of dishes that day so I'll just say that overall the quality is good. This is not top notch Nakazawa sushi quality but for what it is, everything ranged from "okay" to "very good". The fish all tasted fresh and if you go at a time when there are a few other tables, the food is constantly disappearing off the belt so you will definitely be getting freshly prepared food. Right now it is important to keep in mind they just opened, so you may experience some bumps in the service but I had no problems when I went. The staff was very nice and the manager checked on us twice and happily answered our questions. Amazing experience at this new revolving sushi place. Conveniently located off route 9 in a strip mall, which includes stores like home depot, old navy, and shoprite. Arriving around noon on a Saturday, we were seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly and exclaimed the ordering process very well. The sushi belt was continuously rising with a number of various sushi combinations that aren't found at other revolving sushi places. You can also order from the tablet, which also includes ramen, fish cheek, appetizers, upon, and many more. This all you can eat is a great addition to the Linden area. Plenty of parking available and there are also toy dispenser claw machines at the front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, that same morning, there was a car fire at the route 9 intersection, which made that area lose power and internet. Although by the time we went, power was back on but when we went to pay by credit card, there was only 1 person there that seemed to be able to process credit cards. Not sure if it had something to do with their Internet? But it was quite a wait so we ended up just paying cash. Also, my order of green tea mochi that I placed via the tablet never came. Gave this ayce conveyer belt sushi place a try. Was not impressed. Prefer shinjuku station (another ayce option) or Kura. The main issue is that the sushi rolls did not look appetizing at all. Not sure exactly why... they just looked like they had been sitting a while. Also the fish to rice ratio is terrible, but they don't seem to mind if you leave some rice on the plate. Taste was okay by ayce standards... similar to what you'd expect to get from prepackaged rolls at a grocery store. We arrived at 12 (opens 1130) and at the start the rolls were fairly slow to come out on the conveyer belt. Did improve later into the lunch. They also also have ipad ordering. You can order a few at a time, so we mainly took advantage of this. Service is okay. The aesthetics seem more traditional at this location, but no robots and more people to attend you, which I like. However, the fact that you're on a time schedule is a little odd. You have 90 minutes before they ask you to leave, and yes they have you on a timer. Our check came at around 80 minutes, and it just seems a bit rude. There's seems to be three conveyor belts, and the middle one looked like it had more of a variety on it, however you are able to order whatever is getting shown sent to your table so it kind of cancels out. There's also these toy claw machines that you can play to win either a stuffed animal, which were very cute and a nice assortment, or you can play the machines in the entrance for figurine like toys. It's $4 to play, so hard pass on that one. I'm used to dollar machines, maybe even two, but four? Not for me. The sushi menu was decent but not as extensive as other places I've been to. Honestly, I was a bit offput when I walked in and it smelled bad. I don't recall nor am I able to describe what the smell was, but note that it was unpleasant and did not smell like cleaning products. Fortunately/unfortunately the smell was only at the entranceway. When my party was seated, there was no smell at all. My party of 8 arrived at opening and we eagerly grabbed many dishes of nigiri that sounded amazing. We stuck to our favorites like tuna, salmon, and scallop and were pretty underwhelmed. We did know that we shouldn't expect Omakase grade sushi or Michellin guide sushi, but the first few pieces tasted like they were on par with gas station sushi. The rice was hard and I'm pretty sure that they were just pieces that were leftover from the previous night. We voiced our complaints to the staff and management, who seemed a bit perplexed. As more customers came in and more pieces made it onto the conveyor belt, it seemed that the quality of rice did improve. Unfortunately, the quality of the fish stayed the same. There was nothing ordinary about it. The only highlight of this place as the novelty of the conveyer belt paired with the fact that it is an all you can eat establishment (with a time limit of 90 minutes starting from the moment you're seated). There is a conveyor belt with constant rotation of sushi & small plates, as well as an ipad that lets you order 3 pieces per person every 5 minutes. I will say, the time limit made us a little excited, and we ended up eating our fill in about 25 minutes. I would definitely say that you can pace yourself, and order a little bit at a time. The variety felt amazing, our favorite of the night was a tuna nigiri with truffle! It was so interesting, and all of the tuna felt very fresh! I also loved the seared salmon, and the spicy yuzu sauce. We preferred the steak hibachi over the teriyaki steak. I would be curious to try the chicken and shrimp options or a noodle next time! My friends and I tried this resturant for the first time and it's honestly not bad for an all you can eat sushi place with a revolving conveyor belt experience. You pay one price instead of paying as you eat at a place like Kura. There were a few things that made me give it a 3/5 but otherwise, I would've given Supra a 4. First thing, our server wasn't very attentive. We were seated and it took our server about 10 minutes before he came to our table to help us get our iPad set up (you use the iPad to order food). Same thing with drinks, he took our drink order and forgot our orders. He didn't really come around the rest of the time we were there until the end when we had to flag someone down for the check. Second, the sauces they put on the nigiri pieces. It was either too much mayo, too much truffle sauce, or too much yuzu. The one sauce they used was wayyyy too sweet so it was tough to eat. The rolls and pieces without sauces were great. Lastly, the miso soup. It's so hard to mess up miso soup so this took us by surprise. We ordered a bowl of soup for each of us, took one sip, and had to send all the soups back. It tasted like dish soap water and I promise I'm not exaggerating. Supra, please fix your miso soup.
