They have a combo deal which gives you a bowl of ramen and an appetizer for $22. This is a pretty discount, you're basically getting the appetizer for half price. The staff brought the food pretty quickly. I got the Kinya Ramen for my ramen, and takoyaki for my appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised, the takoyaki seemed freshly made and not frozen ones. My family was driving back from the Jersey shore and picked this place as a ramen and sushi joint close to a family member's house. The first thing I asked the guy seating us was whether they had gluten free soy sauce, for my son who has severe food allergies and can have anaphylaxis. Before I can even hit my bottom on the chair the guy explained that they don't, and elaborated that they had NOTHING they can offer that was gluten free. He claimed that all their "sushi" was "deep fried". So I asked, couldn't you just do salmon sashimi (cut up salmon) and white rice? Nope, he responded, they don't have the ability. This is the first time in a long time that a sushi restaurant didn't have GF soy sauce. Even the hole in the wall places have at least the take-out packets. I came here with a friend and sat at the bar for two since the restaurant was busy. Immediately there was a draft from the door opening and closing constantly. No big deal, we were hungry. However, we ordered sushi tacos as an appetizer and ramen for our meals. Upon receiving our appetizer, we still had not received any utensils or small plates so we ate with our hands without napkins to clean. The ramen was ok, nothing too special. I love that it's in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. I recently came and I thoroughly enjoyed. The food service was decent. I will say the front desk a staff could use a little bit more Customer Service training because they don't really speak to you when you come in, you're just kind of waiting idly around trying to figure out if your next in line or if a delivery person is waiting next to you out to pick up a food order it just was a little bit chaotic. I'm at the front desk and you are gonna wait a very long time if you don't have a reservation so I recommend trying to get a reservation before signing in. I also did not love their bubble tea. It's not the best I've had but the Ramen was delicious. The curry one was very flavorful. The appetizers were also very good so I would go back. As the name implies, the menu boasts ramen as well as sushi dishes with bowls and bubble tea. We decided on the spicy ramen, beef ramen, and tonkatsu ramen. For takeout, the ramen toppings and noodles were packed separately from the full-bodied broth in a nice decorated insulated bag. Their ramen was infused with a rich, creamy, flavorful broth and delicious. However, the broth for Tonkatsu and Spicy was a tad salty. While the beef broth was a bit sweet. While waiting on the order, I got a chance to speak with the owner, Mavis, who was friendly and informative, recommending the chicken chashu bowl for the next visit. The price was reasonable. He suggested several items and helped us pick out everything. My husband and I ordered a variety of items which included pork buns, tuna roll, yakitori (chicken, beef, bacon/asparagus), and Gyudon, and matcha shaved ice! We were pleased with how fast everything came out and tasted. We especially loved how flavorful the gyudon was and how the chicken yakitori was very tender. I ordered the Kinya Ramen which is supposed to come with edible gold and was completely ignored by staff when I asked about it. When we walked in it they seemed like they hoped my party didn't request a booth seat. Obsessed with my experience here! We ordered three sushi tacos (Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon and Eel avocado), the sushi nachos and eat got our own ramen (Beef and Spicy Ramen). The tacos were wonderful, just slightly confusing at first to remove the wrapper, but figured it out after a few seconds. The nachos were an addicting combination of spicy, sweet, light and refreshing (forgot to take a picture)! The ramen tasted good as well, however the beef ramen broth required a glass of water on the side and the pork in the spicy ramen was good but not the best I've ever had.
