Happened upon this place while just driving by. Stopped in and was delighted by the large area, tidiness and cue was of this place. That delightful was ended when the cashier took my order. WHY hire people who obviously hate what they do?? She was annoyed with every question and made it uncomfortable for us while we ordered. I had never been there before and needed a minute to view the menu... she was SO ANNOYED and kept asking if I was ready!!! No one was behind me at all so I'm not sure what her problem was. As remote employees, this has been our go-to spot to work while they are doing construction near our house. The internet is fast and reliable, and the coffee is great! Overall, this is a great spot to get some work/studying done while sipping on a nice warm cup of coffee and eating a yummy baked good! I've tried cookies, breads, muffins, and scones and everything has been nothing short of delicious! Even better, a local baker supplies their baked goods, so I feel great about purchasing them. It's close and convenient. The lady told me their $5 muffins come from Sam's club. Coffee okay. They jacked up the prices to keep up with the minimum wage increase and even add an additional 20%service fee on everything. This is a little gem! Totally dog friendly! We were vacationing in Flagstaff and hit this place for breakfast on our way out of town. Sat outside with our dogs. The inside is wonderful too. We ordered the Big Kicker (croissant sandwich), Breakfast Burrito, blueberry muffin and coffee. Everything was outstanding! Service was quick and friendly. He used to keep raving about this place all the time - so during our first visit to flagstaff together this cafe was one of the thing in our "must visit" list. We ordered the caramel frozen frappe: it was amazing!! It was thick and nice. Usually frozen frappe has a watery texture but this one was just perfect!! I've visited Kickstand a couple times over the last few months and every time I've been disappointed. First of all, it is very overpriced. I paid almost $10 for a latte, which is almost twice as expensive as other places in Flag. If I'm paying that much for a drink, I expect it to be good. The cup wasn't even full and the espresso was burnt, probably one of the worst lattes I've ever had. I wanted to give it another chance so I came through the drive thru to get some food. They were out of almost everything on the menu. Finally decided on the burrito and ended up waiting over 45 minutes for it. The inside was cold and it wasn't good. I am a huge fan of this place. I am a sucker for a design in my morning cup. It looks so cool I don't even want to drink it! :) But lord know I need my coffee. Everything I have tried has been on point and the Brie sandwich was amazing. I will have to start getting up earlier for work so that I can start to make this a part of my morning routine. Let us all acknowledge a great local hotspot and start heading to places like this instead of the big guys. Kickstand used to be my favorite go to but in the past few years they've really declined. I used to love it because the drive through on my way to work, but lately every time I go I regret it. I always give it another chance thinking, they can't mess it up AGAIN... and then kick myself when they do disappoint. Currently sitting in line for over 30 minutes. I thought I was going to be early to work but now it's very apparent I'm going to be late. In the past, I have ordered breakfast sandwiches and added on sausage pattys, and most of the time they are not on there. I have celiac disease and always ask for gluten free bread, but multiple times have been given normal bagels. One time I ordered a gluten free breakfast sandwich and they gave me a breakfast burrito. Never had time to complain on site because I typically am late to work because of it. Like right now. Do better. Regrets read more

This place has the BEST coffee. I haven't found a place that I like better in Flagstaff. But for 9$ for a large dirty chai, you better fill that drink up to the top! What an amazing place. Went thru the drive thru on Saturday 1/28 in the morning on the way up to the mountain. The girl at the window said it was her first day and she couldn't have been more helpful or more cheerful. Her bright smile and bubbly personality made my day day warm on a cold morning. $14.63 for 2 medium breve lattes! The base price is high but to add a 12% service fee that is not clearly announced on their menu is astonishing. That service fee amounts to an additional $1.56 per cup. I do understand Flagstaff's minimum wage is high, but I can go elsewhere and have the same or better quality coffee and not be charged anywhere near this amount. I love to support our local businesses but not when the business takes advantage of a circumstance and profits off the community that is there to support them. read more

This place is so cute!!! It is walking distance from our Air B and B so I headed over for coffee and breakfast- everyone was sooo kind and they have such a big selection!
