The server was so friendly and informative. They did not have a liquor license but can serve lesser proof alcohols. It's a cute restaurant by the water. I had the salmon tacos and a piña colada. They did not disappoint. I enjoyed my food and drink. If I'm in the area I would return.

Food was decent needed more salt... We had the lobster Mac, steak with potatoes, shrimp and scallop pasta no sauce, and the sliders with fries. The server was Troy who was nice but seemed a little off today. We requested potatoes with the steak three times and still received rice but he fixed it. Then we spilled fries on the floor and were charged for the replacement. The food portions were good but the prices seemed outlandish for the sizes (I will post pics) and made me kinda think we were paying for the ocean view and the food. But that's inflation for you (thank you politics). I would not rush back to the environment, as the energy was low (one employee I get but, all 4? Come on), and gave the vibe that the staff were so over people but needed the money so yeah, at least we can say we tried it.

This is our usual dining spot whenever we take the trip out here, and this time around it was unpleasant. Our server was a blonde older lady who don't introduce herself by name, was quick to bro gout our waters, but when she toon our drink order, she only brought out my husband's beer. When I asked a few questions regarding items on the menu, her answers came across as though she was mildly annoyed. We waited until our food was brought out and I had to ask for a spoon that accompanied the dish I ordered and we reminded her of the soda my son had requested. Also when I unraveled the napkin wrapped silverware, the napkin had stains on it. Super gross!! I think we'll be giving this place a rest for a while. What a shame...

Was excited to try this out as the reviews were pretty solid and I was excited about the oyster bar. I even made a reservation since it was for a Friday evening. Upon arriving we were greeted and sat rather quickly but didn't have anyone check on us for a solid 7 minutes. Once our server arrived we were ready to place our orders and were told "sorry we're out of the avocado ranch" along with "sorry we're out of the large beer glasses".....what..... Food was not that great, we ordered a clam chowder bowl, michelada oyster shooter, half a dozen oysters, fish and chips, and a shrimp salad. Soup tasted like bacon soup....Miche shooter was not very tasty and my oyster was warm... Would not recommend

My husband and I took a weekend trip away and decided to stop somewhere for a drink and an appetizer. It was past lunch time but too early for dinner, so we decided to stop at Kickers which was right across from our hotel. At first, we weren't sure what it was going to be like. It was about 2pm on a Friday and the place was empty. We stood at the front to wait to be seated for a couple of minutes before the staff said they would be right with us. Turns out, it was only the one waiter working and he already had a couple of tables, we just didn't see them from the front door. He told us to seat ourselves and we got a nice spot looking over the harbor. He was very friendly and attentive. We got the garlic fries to share and my husband got the clam chowder while I got the lobster bisque. Hands down, the best clam chowder we have had in a very long time! There was a nice bacon flavor that only added to the greatness. Nice chunks of clam, and a perfect consistency. We didn't even add salt or pepper to it. There was no need. And the little slices of garlic bread that were served with it made for a great dipping pair. I don't have any experience with lobster bisque, but I can say that I enjoyed this one. It had a lobster flavor and a little sweet but very good. The fries definitely lived up to their garlic title and a great texture as well. They seemed to be kind of breaded. Very yummy place and worth checking out for sure!

Came during the week awhile back and it wasn't crowded and the reviews brought me in. The decor is cool and the waiter was friendly. Remembered him from working at Hoagies in Pismo for years. The view of the rock and water is inviting and made for a cool dinner. The clam chowder was probably my favorite, very flavorful and the toasted bread was a hit. The lobster roll had a good amount of meat and was also very good. The calamari steak Reuben I was most excited about but was the most disappointed with this dish. The flavor I was expecting wasn't represented well, it was bland and the calamari steak was too thick. Ingredients were fresh and overall I enjoyed the meal and look forward to coming back here for more chowder and to try something else on the menu.

The food here is amazing. Everything I've tried here has been so good. This time I got the lobster bisque bread bowl. Great flavor and the bread bowl was toasted perfectly!

This was our first time and we absolutely enjoyed everything. The oyster was fresh and incredible. We also enjoyed the clam chowder and lobster roll. The service was excellent. Ethan was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Food came out fast. The inside we enjoyed sitting by the water seeing otter and seals. Meal with a view!

We wanted a nice breakfast before heading out of town and stumbled upon Kickers -- the cute coastal sign caught our eye right away. Inside, everything looked fresh, modern, and welcoming. It wasn't too busy yet, so we grabbed a window table with a perfect view of the bay -- calm water, sea breeze, and that peaceful Morro Bay morning glow. The menu had something for everyone: frittatas, eggs benedict, pancakes, breakfast tacos, and even shrimp chilaquiles that looked amazing as they came out of the kitchen. The Bloody Marys looked beautiful (I'll save that for next time!), and the coffee was rich, hot, and perfectly brewed -- just what we needed to start the day. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive, and every single one of us loved our breakfast. The food came out quickly, everything was flavorful and fresh, and the whole experience just had that vacation breakfast done right feeling. We all agreed -- great first impression! Kickers will definitely be a must-stop spot next time we're in Morro Bay.

The folks were friendly, it was pretty crowded. I considered the Eggs Benedict but was disappointed to see that the Hollandaise was "creole" flavored. I ended up ordering a basic breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, english muffin. Can't go wrong with that, right? I ordered my eggs "broken over-hard" but they came out over-hard. I order this way to have the yolk spread out into the white. The english muffin was grilled, so not hard on the outside, but it was still good. The eggs were rubbery. The potatoes were a bit too spicy, I needed ketchup to eat them. Bacon was OK. Thin napkins, needed more. Plate was chipped. Had to use the restroom before leaving, it is now a gender neutral bathroom and Burt Reynolds is still presented in all his glory!! I must have a totally different sense of humor. Won't be back here, nothing on their menu appeals to me. Sorry.
