Never willing to adjust anything on the menu, even though they have the items in the kitchen, management won't budge. Heaven forbid they add cheese to your tater tots. Service was awful. Our waitress (Caitlyn) was M.I.A. I had asked for a margarita and she forgot about it. Had to ask her to go check on it 10 minutes in. Service stinks.....Food is usually good to very good....KJ's can't handle the fries. Over cooked and crumbs with a few nice fries on top. We are seniors....We do expect minimum care and service...we tend to over tip on most visits...Takes forever to get a beer or cocktail... Tonight was especially bad...20 minutes before the bartender ever acknowledged us.....only when we waved and yelled did the "dingy" waitress stop talking to two men on the opposite side of the bar to get our order. Thursday night is an EarlyBird night.....we asked specifically if the ribs were on the special ..? Same dingy waitress said "Oh Yes" without adding "But not at the $8.49/$8.99 rate". The bill came with a $14.99 tab.....only $5.00 - but...showed a lack of attention and service on Dingy's part. The floor service woman was no better.....She said we should have read the menu better ---- after all--- "the ribs were $14.99" We didn't ask for anything special - no free meals or drinks- BUT GOOD WILL AND COURTSEY- go a long way. This place used to be me and my girlfriend's favorite place to go but tonight was for her son's birthday. When we finally got our order, her order wasn't completely right, and as soon as we were about to eat, the fire alarm goes off and on. It was loud and was flashing wich was giving us a headache. It was worse for my girlfriend since she has vertigo, getting anxious and mad. We decided to leave after almost 15 minutes. They didn't want to do anything for us after our meals was ruined. We entered the restaurant and told the hosted we needed a table for two, possibly in the bar. The hostess took us to a booth. As we were about to be seated another employee said "that table has not been cleaned" I don't think the hostess heard her but no big deal for us because we thought the girl who said it hadn't been cleaned would come wipe it. She however did not, rolled her eyes at the hostess and continued on doing what she was doing. When the server came to greet us we asked if the bar was open for seating and she said "of course". We then went and sat at the bar, there were other guests sitting at it. I'm not kidding when we sat there for a solid 10 minutes and did not get greeted. Another customer who was sitting at the bar even said to us about 5 minutes in "she's taking her time isn't she?". All during this she was helping everyone else and carrying on conversations. We decided to get up after 10 minutes and another customer sitting on the other side said "I don't blame you, I'd do the same." I totally understand if it was busy and you needed time but at least tell us HELLO! Place looked cool, we drove by the night before, we wanted to check it out. But oh well. Service is horrible. Waitstaff and hostesses need proper training! Is there even a manager at this location?? The food is decent, that's the only reason I have returned. Once you have been served your food, waitstaff forgets you exist. Requests for extra sauce, dressing, etc are almost always forgotten/ignored. Waitperson must be flagged down for drink refills and check. My last visit: I called in a take out order, arrived to pick it up 15 minutes later, waited another 15 minutes and told the hostess I had to leave, please refund my money. The burgers we had were good. That's about all of the positives involved with the experience we had last night. I was with a party of five. The beer we ordered was not the correct beer and no one received their burger order the way it was ordered - missing fries (multiple), one burger was simply not brought out, no order with bacon had bacon on the burger, salads were left off. Two stars because they did remove the wrong beer from our bill and the food was good once all of the many problems were worked out. The servers need a GREAT DEAL MORE TRAINING!! Great atmosphere for all sports fans. They have good food and tons of TVS for all the games that are occurring during the particular day. The staff are helpful and friendly. Went to this restaurant tonight. It took 20 minutes to get a beer. The kicker was I ordered a salad with my meal and it didn't come until I was almost done with my meal! Then the waitress never would come to the table and we had to keep getting her attention when we needed something. I just met the dumbest human I have ever talked to. We arrived with a party of 10 and we were told that we would have to split the party. We agreed and asked if we could sit outside. Upon asking if we could sit outside the manager came to greet us. She said they were short staffed and could not accommodate a group of ten outside. I then asked if we could do 6 and 4. THE MANAGER SAID THAT WE CANNOT DO 6 AND 4 BECAUSE WE WALKED IN TOGETHER. I then asked, "if we came in as a group of 4 and asked to sit outside, would you let us?" She said yes. I then asked, "if a subsequent group of 6 then came in and asked if they could sit outside, would you let them?" SHE SAID YES!!! I then asked, then why can't we sit outside as a four and a six? We don't have to sit together! She just couldn't figure it out. We told her over and over and she was too hung up on the fact that we walked in together and wouldn't seat us separately. We tried one more time at which point she told us to get out! What a turd. If the manager is this inept what could the restaurant be like? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

I have made the decision to give this place a second chance on four separate occasions. I was burned the first time when they initially opened by horrendous bar service. Bar tenders didn't know how to make drinks. I was one of 7 people at a 20 person bar and couldn't get served and then they forgot about my check for 30 minutes. Torched a second time by an 18 year old server who couldn't read. 10 minutes to order drinks, 15 to order food, 45 to get food that wasn't even ours. Managers don't know what's going on at all. I've had similar experiences each time I've gone. Servers disappearing for so long that I have to get a bar tender or a manager to find them or transfer my meal to someone else to close my check. It's a disaster. When you offer cheap beer and subpar food at low prices you're attracting a specific type of crowd. Kickback's now has police officers doing the occasional walk through most nights just to make sure nothing goes wrong. All in all this place is a nightmare. Poor service. Awful food. Went there last night 8/7/2016. Terrible experience!!! For appetizers my table ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the honey BBQ boneless wings. Both were the worst I've ever had in a dining experience. For the main course I had the salmon that came with steamed veggies (squash, zucchini, broccoli) and a baked potato. I must say the steamed veggies were very good but the salmon was overcooked. It was tough to chew through and when I lifted it with my fork it would thud back on to the plate. and the baked potato was hard and cold. I told the waitress about it and when she told the manager she just took it off the bill, she didn't even come to the table to see the problem!!! My husband is in the military and was in full uniform, I guess another manager was upset that I didn't like the food so he told the waitress he didn't give military discounts. I know for a fact they give the chamber of commerce discounts but I digress. At the end of the night I felt cheated, I swore I would never give them my business again and I would let everyone I could know about Kickback Jacks terrible food and the lack of management. I have been to Kickback Jacks 3 times now. The first time I had a server who was obviously new to waiting tables and was constantly hovering. The second time it took 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. All three times our food was brought out separately which was really weird the last time when there were 7 in our party. The food is mediocre even for bar food with the exception of the Old Fashioned Burger. On the positive side, food is fairly reasonably priced. It does have a fun atmosphere, especially for kids, with a put put outside and arcade games inside. There are tvs EVERYWHERE so I could see it being a fun place to hang out with friends and watch sports. We will return but we won't expect much. read more

It is an upscale sports bar, with more than 25 screens of TV, a varied and appetizing looking menu, and lots of well dressed, professionally appearing wait staff. Our experience was flawless from beginning to end. We had shrimp po boy sandwiches which had perfectly cooked shrimp piled high on a fresh baked roll, with a generous serving of delicious fries. Nearly every sever who came by our table asked how our food was, checked to see if we needed anything and were pleasant, courteous and competent. This is not the place for the quiet special dinner with your spouse, but I would rate it the best sports bar in the area. It is apparent the management is involved and the staff is well trained. Have eaten here a number of times with no major problems (great service or mediocre- the food has been good) Arrived 5:30pm Sun evening, got seated in a booth, none of the booths behind us were occupied. One table in the center was occupied and a few of the booths opposite had patrons. Our full order (apps, ice tea and entrees ) was taken within 10 minutes. We received the teas and mozz sticks quickly but already didn't get the extra marinara we requested. By 6:15 all booths behind us were seated, a table of 6 next to us and the booth across from us, patrons left and new ones seated. We asked the waitress about our food, who said the manager would bring it in a few min and explain the wait. By 6:30 still no food and all booths, the 6 at the table and the new patrons had food. What did we order that was so hard to deliver- a burger & a salad. We again asked the waitress, no response. Finally requested another waitress get the manager and were told our order being worked on and that it only had been entered 15min prior. I explained all the above and said we are not waiting any longer. The manager brought the bill of $11.95 for tea/apps and we actually paid for waiting one hour and 10 min. No apologies given. The ticket time said 5:53 which was later than we ordered (approx 5:40) but still 47 min long which is way more than the 15min the manager or leader said. I could not believe the experience, lack of apology and getting billed for waiting ONE HOUR AND TEN MINUTES!!!! read more

It's a reflection of poor management when employees can't answer basic questions correctly. The best sports pub in the area. Really good food and the service was excellent. Great beer selection too. For the smokers they have a nice separate area with bay doors that open during nice weather. You gotta understand the noise level is high cuz it's a sports bar so folks need to relax about that issue. read more
