Lots of parking. They have Music BINGO on Monday nights. Trevor was our server- he was friendly and nice- we were out of drinks 2x - luckily there was a girl walking around with refills. Good variety on the menu. I ordered a Super Grain Bowl It was very tasty-I ordered the citrus dressing on the side- it was delicious- it also came with a yogurt dressing- not my speed. I absolutely loved the pistachios on the salad- I like pickled red onions- these were not pickled long enough- they were hard and strong. I didn't eat them. Always love this place. The server with the long hair who usually wears a hat is by far my favorite, he's not fake friendly he's attentive and knowledgeable and always remembers me - and tries his best to accommodate and keep you happy. The food is almost always GAS, my only complaint is they need to make more potato's - running out everyday is a problem. But they have so many options so you can't be mad, Stephanie made me a phenomenal mojito on my recent visit, she follows directions extremely well and I ordered more than one drink from her. We did takeout. We got barely cooked freezing cold sweet potato fries that were soggy. Plus we were charged extra and not even told about the extra charge. The burgers were however fine. I had the opportunity to check out CharBar No. 7 last week. I enjoyed the ambiance, a good blend of sports bar/lounge vibes with cozy lighting and plenty of TVs to catch a game. My girlfriend and I split the fried chicken sandwich w/ chip fries and the prime rib sandwich w/tater tots. The fried chicken sandwich had a decent flavor, but was more breading than chicken. The chip fries were tasty, plenty of seasoning on them. The prime rib sandwich was piled high with meat & cheese. The au jus was delicious, but the horseradish sauce was kinda bland. I would appreciate a slightly spicier horseradish to complement the savory au jus. The tater tots had a nice crunch but were totally bland. Our server was very attentive and made sure our drinks were constantly filled & all other needs were met. We will definitely return to sample more of the menu! read more

We came with a larger party of 11. We were seated right near the front door, it was comfortable but I might ask for a seating further inside when we visit next. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere, a nice restaurant, not a bar but they have one, more upscale without being fancy. They add a 20% tip automatically to your bill with larger parties, so be attentive to your receipt. This practice in not unusual, but 20% is a bit on the high side for an automatic tip. The service was attentive and good, and she would have likely received a larger tip had they not already determined what the service was worth for us. We had smash-burgers with tater tots, which were awesome. The old fashion was pretty good too. Duck hook beer on tap, which completed our beverages. We arrived at 1430, so they were not crowded, it was quiet, and we enjoyed our visit. I would definitely eat here again and I recommend it highly. read more

Not very hungry, we ordered mushroom risotto (very good) & tortilla chips two ways: guac & cheese. Guac was too salty - would have been perfect otherwise. Bad. Really bad. I don't like writing bad restuarant reviews. It's a tough business with lots of moving parts. I waited two weeks and debated my choice of reviews for CharBar No.7 but they need to know and you need to know how awful our experience was. The hostesses were sulky and offered no greeting other than to shuffle the four of us to our table without ever making eye contact. Perhaps they knew what lay ahead of us. The waiter was spacey and uninformed. He made a comment that he didn't know what happened to the really big tv that was on the wall a couple of days ago. Turns out it was a projection tv and the screen had been rolled up. He wasn't making a joke. He really didn't know. He suggested a seasonal beer that was really awful and he just couldn't get the burger toppings right with three asks. So, let's get to the burgers. They came out of the kitchen wrapped in foil, as though they had been sitting somewhere waiting for the next victim, er.... I mean, customer to order them to go. One of the burger buns was wet, the other was dried out and as I said, the toppings were wrong. The meat quality was not great and they were not cooked to the ordered doneness. Back the wet-bun burger went and then out it came.....wet again. The fries were limp and cooling quickly. The tater tots were ok. The menu had a mojito special and it was doable. The water was wet. The replacement beer was fine. Everyone had food left on their plate and none wanted a box. We did not order dessert. Normally, I would give a place such as CharBar No.7 another chance. I understand staffing issues and can overlook the random less-than-expected food experience. However, any kitchen that would let the kind of food we had out to the front of the house even once is not a place I want to revisit. Bottom line: Never again for me. You might have better luck but not without some serious changes to kitchen procedure and staffing. It's probably a decent place to sit at the bar and watch the game....... but burgers? ....... So I just realized that I've never submitted a review for CharBar No7 and this is a frequent place to visit while in Aberdeen. We've been here 6-7 times easily and while our service was the worst it has ever been in 7 visits tonight, the food is amazing! If you want the best tasting steak with no sauce needed, try this place out. I'm simple and while my wife and I were trying to have a date night, the waitress was terrible! I'll let management know the bads, b/c I'm trying to keep this review all good. The wait time here has never been terrible and we normally go on Sat evenings. All of their food is great and a neat place to hangout with friends or family! Come try them out, you'll be glad you did! read more

Look the food here is way too expensive for what it is - but it's okay. The services can be sooooo bad. Read the other bad reviews... they will all tell you the same thing. Over priced and bad services. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. there is nothing about this place that stands out. Go to Maxies or Pinehurst Brewing. You'll have a much better experience. the service this last time was absolutely terrible. Took over and hour to finally get food. Manager or server never even addressed the lack of service Or the fact that it took them an hour to get our food done (it was barely half full on the inside of the restaurant). idk. I don't think we will be back. We spent like $400 for terrible service... and then they double charged our credit card when we were leaving - just an absolute disaster. Ate at char 7 today and the service was great. Torri was very nice. The food is mediocre. The low rating is due to the fact that they stole 0.91$ from my change. My bill was $57.09, I gave them a $100 dollar bill and they brought me $42.00 in change. 0.91$ is not a big deal but it's the principle. Unfortunately it hurt the server's tip. read more

Drink menu had so many options for us both to pick from and the food was delicious. We came back for the 2nd time today and it was not as good as last year.
