Today we came in on random Monday this place is a vibe ! Seated as soon as we entered with excellent service I had a mimosa with bbq burger price was budget friendly breakfast and brunch menu food was delicious!

The family platter.

The for was very good, very large portions, one skillet dish is definitely enough for two people. The restaurant was very nice and the service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and we ordered a couple of dishes, one of them being the family platter. Definitely enough for four people. Very large pancakes, lots of potatoes and great scrambled eggs.

Had a cute brunch date with my boyfriend here. We both love Kickback Jack's so much and have been here a handful of times! Today we had the Rock N Cheese Western Burger with the fries and the Belgian Waffle with Chilled Strawberries and the Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. The burger was so good but would def ask for the cheese on the side next time to pour it with each bite. The Belgian Waffle was also delicious! Thats what I had and I loved it. The waffle was soft and the cream on top was sweet and yummy. Both meals were very filling and the Orange Juice was refreshing and perfect. Our waitress was so nice and would check up on us and provided amazing service.

Still have a great time here at Kickback jack's! I wanted to update my review with their most current menu.

This diner has been our family's go-to for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. They are famous for their pancakes, and let me tell you--they are absolutely amazing! Honestly, everything on the menu is incredibly tasty. While the syrup is a little on the sweet side, and I'd love to see even more syrup choices for the pancakes, french toast, and waffle. However, it doesn't get in the way too much. Because it's such a beloved spot, it can get pretty busy and the wait times can be long. I definitely recommend calling ahead so you can get to the food faster! The service staff is remarkably friendly and warm; they do a wonderful job of staying true to the classic, welcoming diner vibes the restaurant was founded on.

Spicy Bayou Skillet w/ over medium eggs and Santa Fe sauce on the side

Haven't eaten here in a few years. First off, our waitress was absolutely amazing and sweet. She accidentally sat us in a reserved area for a large group and needed to move us. Because of the move, she gave us a free corn bread even though we told her it wasn't necessary, it was a simple request. The restaurant itself is like any diner setting and spacious. Today I tried the Bayou Sausage Skillet. It was good but not amazing. I'm glad I got the Santa Fe sauce on the side because I didn't like it, but that's just preference. The home fried potatoes were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning (and this is coming from someone who complains food is salty). I would get the skillet again for sure but the only other downside is, it says roasted corn but it's canned corn and wasn't really roasted. But over all still a good breakfast.

Parking: Plenty available Ambience: Large and spacious, great for large groups. Lots of windows with plenty of outdoor light streaming in. Open and inviting layout. Front counter with variety of baked goods available. Service: Friendly and patient with our large group! Taste: Got the farm skillet, which was delicious and HUGE. Enough for leftovers / seconds :)

My friend and I stopped by Kickback Jack's in Rancho Cucamonga for Sunday breakfast, and we both left happy and full! We ordered almost the same thing -- waffles, bacon, sausage, and eggs. My friend added strawberries and whipped cream to hers (and it looked so good!). I had two pieces of bacon and two sausages, and she went with four bacons. We both had coffee. The food came out hot and fresh -- everything tasted really good. The waffle was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like it. Bacon was nice and crispy, eggs cooked just right, and the coffee hit the spot. It was pretty crowded since it was a Sunday morning, so we waited about 25 minutes, which honestly isn't bad at all for that time of day. Once we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and kind -- she checked on us several times and made sure our coffee stayed filled. The place has a comfortable, casual vibe, perfect for a relaxed weekend breakfast. Overall, a really good experience -- great food, friendly service, and worth the wait!

My friend and I shared a skillet and two pancakes, plus two orange juices -- and wow, the portions are HUGE! We seriously loved everything. The pancakes were honestly the best I've ever had, and the orange juice was super fresh which made it even better. Our server was the sweetest, always checking in and making us feel so welcome. Definitely one of my new favorite brunch spots!

Rock'n Breakfast Burrito with shredded beef

Great breakfast in Rancho Cucamonga! We come for the dirty burrito with shredded beef and it's so good. Huge portions too! Definitely recommend trying this place.

The KickbackJack sandwich is SO good, tender chicken with bacon and avocado. Omg! I got the onion rings because our waitress recommended them, scrumptious and crispy, so fresh, loved them. My husband ordered steak and eggs. He was happy with his meal. The service was great, our waitress was polite and checked in on us frequently. The ambiance is very family friendly, its nice and chill. They do have mimosa flights but I didn't get to try any this time. The portions are decent for the pricing, I thought everything was good. I had my husband get a side of pancakes, they were huge and delicious!

Food was okay and service was acceptable. For the prices they charge, consider going somewhere else.

Food was average. Waitresses too busy talking about their shift hours and days off. Has a retirement home feel to it.

Whether you're meeting colleagues for business or simply looking for a great lunch spot, this is a place worth checking out. Great food, fantastic quality, and a wonderful overall experience. I took a bite into the wings, honestly nothing special, you can get the same ones at any other restaurant, they should remove them from the menu honestly. Now let's get down to my meal, I got a savory burger with fries. The burger was tender, juicy, flavorful, they use quality meat, the cheese and bacon paired nice. Overall a very good burger, I was surprised. Unfortunately the fries were just plain, I really wanted to give this spot 4 stars but it was like just biting a raw potato, no type of salt or seasoning, can get better fries at Jack In The Box. Unfortunately, after our experience the other night, our entire group left saying we probably won't ever come back. There were six of us there for one of our usual meetup/catch up nights, and the restaurant wasn't even busy, which made the level of service even more ridiculous. It took about 25 minutes just to get someone's attention so we could get our drinks going. Once food and drinks finally started coming out, our server would literally stand at the head of the table, hand something to my friend and expect us to figure out who ordered it and pass everything down ourselves. Like what? He had no clue who ordered what. And this didn't happen once. It kept happening. Drinks, food, everything. I don't expect some over the top fine dining presentation, but I do expect the server to actually serve the table. We ordered two of an item and only one came out. We asked for ranch at the beginning of the meal and never got it. When we wanted a second round of drinks, it took another 20 minutes just to get someone so we could order, followed by another long wait for the drinks to actually arrive. And once again, when they came, they were handed to one person at the end of the table for us to pass around ourselves. Completely mind blowing. We finally asked for a manager. To her credit, she acknowledged that the service absolutely should not have been handled that way and comped a meal or two. I appreciate that, but the money really wasn't the point. We are foodies, especially me, and I have zero problem spending money on good food, good drinks and good service. I would have gladly paid the entire bill if the experience had been worth it. As far as the food and drinks, my bacon wrapped dates were delicious and both of my Old Fashioneds were perfect. The short rib tacos though? As mid as mid can be. Overall, just a horrible dining experience, especially from a place I've enjoyed in the past. It's honestly sad because I really did love their drinks, but this experience was bad enough that none of us have any desire to come back.

Both were good portions for the price, BUT, i always think its cheap of a restaurant to offer NO sides at all with the meal. I think either plain fries or chips or salad should come standard. The sides were all an extra charge. I totally think thats reasonable for sweet potato fries or mac n cheese or something more.
