The food was really amazing. The customer service was great. They have coffee in the waiting area for guests. Only down side is they have a huge waiting room and a huge wait time most of the time. My family and I love this place. read more

Good food, affordable pricing and prompt service. Open venue and plenty of seating. Definitely worth a stop when you're in the area.

Just okay. I have heard a lot of praise around town of this local breakfast spot so I decided to finally check it out. I ordered the French toast and I actually felt the food I received was mediocre at best and overpriced for sure. I would not go back because I've had better breakfast at farmer boys for half the cost. read more

Above mediocre food, very friendly service, large variety, large portions, a good experience overall.

Had a pretty unimpressive time here the morning after a friend's wedding. I ordered the plate with chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, and 3 eggs. The chicken fried steak tasted only of flour and was the worst I have ever had. Biscuits and gravy were just ok, pretty bland. The eggs were eggs; can't mess them up. Another minor annoyance was sitting at the counter where we would hear the food runner/expos/servers complain to the cooks about how bad the food looked every 5 minutes or so. Service was good and the hostess was very accommodating. For a $15 plate, I would have rather gone to IOHP or Denny's. read more

I saw the comments about the pancakes and thought this place would be good. I got scramble eggs (ok), bacon (ok), and 3 pancakes(horrible). The pancakes had no flavor. They were huge. Also the syrup tasted like they added water to it. This is my first review on here an regrettably I have to say it was bad. The restaurant looks nice, and the service was great. The food was not. Brandon's Diner or Corkey's is much better. read more

Great food but just overpriced! I always love coming here for breakfast and getting their carnitas skillet and stuffed french toast, but lately they been a little slow on service. read more

This place is so delicious I cannot even believe it.. the portions were massive and everything was very tasty :! Great atmosphere !

It's been a while since we ate there but didn't like the service or food, never went back.

The food here is great but a little overpriced.. the wait is long so don't come if your starving! Waited approximately 50 minutes to be seated for two, when they said the wait was 30 minutes. This place gets really busy...you would think they would keep up with their bathrooms! They really need to update them...no ventilation and falling apart read more

So went to this place with a bunch of friends because they don't want to have Pho, what? no Pho in the morning? Oh man.... Arrived, put my name down, directed to the waiting area where they have free coffee which is a good thing because the waiting area is right next to the restroom and boy did it stank! They served coffee from local roasters tho. So I noticed that a group in front of us was called in so I decided to check on our table. As I was approaching the hostess podium one lady was saying "so we skipped John?" and the the other one was like "that's what I've been trying to tell you!". Then I raised my hand up and said "John's here". Both looked like a pooping deer caught in a headlight. Seated, drink boy, the guy who took our drink order is cute, so a plus. Food arrived and yes, too, too much of food being served, what a waste. They should take few dollars off of their menu and give peeps smaller portion, seriously. read more

Finally able to write a review about this place. This is my 2nd favorite breakfast place in Rancho. The menu is huge and has a giant variety of delicious breakfast and lunch items. I appreciate that they have a waiting room for guests until their table is ready, so far so good if you ask me. Every time I come I feel like there are different waitresses each time but it doesn't matter cause they're all so friendly! The menu choices are really amazing. The items seem a little pricey for a family breakfast place but once you get your plate you'll understand. The portions are HUUUGE like a country style diner! I love it! The homefries are one of the best I've ever had, so much flavor. The pico de gallo is so FRESH and DELICIOUS. I am usually only able to eat half my plate but I love taking the other half home and eating it for my next meal. The restaurant is very clean and the murals on the walls are really nice to look at. The only downside to this place is that it's not open past 3 but it's okay just more reason to get my lazy butt up and get some good breakfast. read more

1st time here, we came because if you ask Yelp for best bloody Mary this is first on the list... THEY DO NOT SERVE BLOODY MARYS!!! What the he....! It's cool inside and the menu looks awesome but again no Bloody Mary's what the heck read more

Whenever I try a restaurant for the first time, I'm pretty optimistic & give them the benefit of the doubt. Today I went to this restaurant because I heard from locals & read the reviews on Yelp that this restaurant had an amazing breakfast. Well, turned out that sometimes you just need to try things for yourself. When I first arrived there, I noticed a very musty smell as soon as I walked in but just ignored it as I was seated. I was then asked by the waitress if I wanted something to drink. I explained to her this it was my first time here and I needed to view the menu first. She didn't welcome me or say anything, like, "OK" or any sort of confirmation, but just walked away. I thought that was a bit strange and rude. I finally ordered my food and it was covered in a sauce that was not in the menu description. As I mentioned above, I try to be optimistic so I tried the dish and took 1 bite. Maybe it might be good? I was wrong. It was absolutely horrible! I have never seen or tasted orange colored, cheese-like gravy. It smelled old and rotten. The waitress took my food and left. Then she came back moments later and asked if I wanted to try a different dish. I said no thank you. My spouse, also first time here, ordered a dish and was appalled by taste. We do not expect Michelin 3 stars quality food, but how do you mess up on pancakes? My spouse's pancakes were burned on one side and yet not fully cooked inside. Some people may enjoy their "local spot" for whatever reasons and continue to eat poor quality food (ingredients/preparation), but I will not. When food taste like how the restaurant smells, (rotten) there is a problem. This is solely my opinion and may not reflect yours *Eat at your own discretion* Pro * Large portions, great for a family of 4 * Homemade chips Cons * Horrible service * Horrible food/taste/preparation * May be pricey for some. $16 for pancakes? * Old/musty odor in restaurant * Dated menu * Dirty table, still had tip and bill on table. read more

I used to come here once a week to meet a friend for breakfast before work and it has always been one of my favorite spots. They have great pancakes and they're huge! Great coffee and service, definitely better than going to Denny's and other places like that. Only downsides would be the wait is usually prettying long and they close at 3 PM. Definitely worth trying! read more

Solid solid breakfast place. Massive portions. Good strawberry lemonade (with strawberries floating around). I typically order the corned beef hash. Yum. read more

I been going here on certain occasions since 2014 & it is my favorite spot for breakfast. All the skillets are delicious. Everything I tried so far is good & the serving portions are plenty. Me & by bf share a meal cause it so much food. I love this spot. It gets so packed but its worth the wait. Going early is better. It just sucks that their onky open till 3p. read more

This is the dirtiest restaurant I've ever been to! Most of the tables were not clean.the floors were dirty and stuff on the floor from other customers . The bathrooms were so disgusting the toilets were plugged up both men and women ! And smelled horrible! And the prices are very high!! And the servers walk around like they're doing work but they are not! Very disappointed terrible service terrible food and very high prices. Will not go back!! read more

Always a great time! We come here regularly with our work group, and we always leave happy and full. The food tastes great, the prices are good, and the portions are huge. We've never had any issues, and they have always been accommodating of our large groups. If you're hungry and in the area, come here for some great breakfast! read more

Wait time was very long with no comfortable area to to wait. As we were called to be seated, I observed clean available tables in restaurant which always confuses me as to why people are not seated when there are tables available. Once seated & order placed service was not timely. Food was good & flavorful. Servers appeared to be working very hard to attend to the area they worked. This restaurant would be second or third choice if I would be in area again. read more

I have been going to both the Claremont and Rancho locations for years. I have noticed the quality slowly declining the past few years yet the prices increase. Yes the portions are large, but if it doesn't taste great, who cares. My biggest grip is the owner of the Rancho location nickles and dimes you. We were just there this past Sunday and while my husband eats meat, my children and I do not. Every kids meal except cereal contains meat and when I asked the waitress if I can substitute the bacon and sausage with an egg, she said probably not but she'd check with the owner (who was there that day). The kids meals came out with no meat and an extra egg but at the end of the meal when we received our check, we were still charged the full price of the kids meal plus $4 for the extra 2 eggs. So not only did the owner save by not provided us with bacon and sausage, he made some extra money on the additional eggs. I understand if you don't want to make substitutions, but at least provide a meat free option on the kids menu... read more

Great breakfast and lunch spot. For about $10 you will get a delicous meal and more than you can handle. Rancho Cucamonga always does it big and this place delivers. I come here all the time for breakfast and love their food. This is probably one of my favorite spots for breakfast. But today was terrible! My daughter and I went for a late breakfast, early lunch, and decided to sit at the counter- as I/we often do. As we sat and waited for our food I could hear the servers yelling at the cooks. I was once a server so I know how busy you can get or how difficult the cooks may be at times but today was awful! The servers were so rude to the cooks! Talking and screaming at them with attitudes! No "please" or "thank you" or any "kindness" in their voices. I was seriously uncomfortable and embarrassed listening to them treat their coworkers so harsh! I hope the next time I go back I never hear the servers treating the cooks this way or I will refrain from ever returning and finding a new. breakfast place like Corkys! read more

We eat at this place regularly. The portions are big and substantial. The pancakes are dry, however the French toast is great. The staff accommodate my requests. read more

I'm giving two stars because of the excellent service from Laura. The chilaquiles are tortilla chips with pace salsa on top we had to return them. I ordered the stuffed pancakes a la carte and it was a pancake folded in half with Philadelphia cream cheese and jam in the fold and topped with powdered sugar. It isn't exactly a home style from scratch place. the portions are big but the food is mediocre. I won't be returning. read more

We had breakfast the food was good but the service was terrible. The sad part is they were not busy.

This place is awesome service was great food was even better it's nice finding a great breakfast place close to Work I've been looking for a place with good portions and good quality and good service to find all three is rare but today I did just that. read more

This place has the best breakfast in town! It has become one of my favorites from the moment I tried it.

After reading all of the great reviews for breakfast, I really really wanted to like this place. And unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed. My husband ordered the Country Fried Eggs Benedict and while it looked impressive and tasty, there was NO flavor! The avocado on top was the best part. When you have to doctor up your food with a shit-ton of Tapatio, salt, AND ketchup, there's a problem. I ordered a small egg scramble with a side of pancakes. Hard to mess up, right? Wrong. The eggs were so cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The pancakes were HUGE and looked so hot and fluffy. And they were. Finally, something worth eating, right? Wrong. The syrup tasted worse than something they'd sell at the dollar store. Watery and fake. So gross. Ruined my beautiful pancakes. The only good part about my meal was the coffee with their flavored creamer options at the table. Because there are so many breakfast and lunch menu options, I'd be a snob if I said I wouldn't give them another try. Hope they live up to everyone else's expectations! read more

This is actually my favorite restaurant and I am going to continue to come here due to the fast and friendly service, however this right now I am leaving after picking up my to go order and the service was less than satisfactory. I call in my order as usual and it's stated that it will take 15 minutes and it ends up taking 40 + minutes. The waitress knowing I've been waiting a while and I discuss me getting a free muffin for my wait. The manager on duty(whom I have not seen before) walk up and says nothing to me after hearing my story nor does she look at me, then walks away to the back. I wait another 5 minutes and she tells the waitress to tell me know. Seems kind of rude not very personable. On this day, you ma'am get one star for your rudeness. read more

Lazy and forgetful service...decent food....nothing worth a second trip unless you don't like yourself much

Not bad , good food , portions are massive , can use an update , but they are always soooo busy , no one cares , good parking I will return read more

Update...Didn't try it, but plan on it just because it is too ridiculous - Kick Back Jacks has fried bacon on the menu. WTF?

Big portions and love the pancakes and waffles...the only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is that they are a bit pricy. Their standard breakfast 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 2 pancakes can run you $10 and that's with a coupon. Service has been great on all occasions. Because we love their waffles so much we'll go back just not as often as we would like. read more

The food was good. Service was okay. They took long to even get our drink order. Overall good if you have time to wait.

The best breakfast in all of the I.E. The super stuffed French toast is ridiculously good! Friendly staff too!
