    The family platter.

The for was very good, very large portions, one skillet dish is definitely enough for two people. The restaurant was very nice and the service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and we ordered a couple of dishes, one of them being the family platter. Definitely enough for four people. Very large pancakes, lots of potatoes and great scrambled eggs.

Had a cute brunch date with my boyfriend here. We both love Kickback Jack's so much and have been here a handful of times! Today we had the Rock N Cheese Western Burger with the fries and the Belgian Waffle with Chilled Strawberries and the Sausage and Scrambled Eggs. The burger was so good but would def ask for the cheese on the side next time to pour it with each bite. The Belgian Waffle was also delicious! Thats what I had and I loved it. The waffle was soft and the cream on top was sweet and yummy. Both meals were very filling and the Orange Juice was refreshing and perfect. Our waitress was so nice and would check up on us and provided amazing service.

Still have a great time here at Kickback jack's! I wanted to update my review with their most current menu.

This diner has been our family's go-to for years, and it truly feels like a home away from home. They are famous for their pancakes, and let me tell you--they are absolutely amazing! Honestly, everything on the menu is incredibly tasty. While the syrup is a little on the sweet side, and I'd love to see even more syrup choices for the pancakes, french toast, and waffle. However, it doesn't get in the way too much. Because it's such a beloved spot, it can get pretty busy and the wait times can be long. I definitely recommend calling ahead so you can get to the food faster! The service staff is remarkably friendly and warm; they do a wonderful job of staying true to the classic, welcoming diner vibes the restaurant was founded on.

Spicy Bayou Skillet w/ over medium eggs and Santa Fe sauce on the side

Haven't eaten here in a few years. First off, our waitress was absolutely amazing and sweet. She accidentally sat us in a reserved area for a large group and needed to move us. Because of the move, she gave us a free corn bread even though we told her it wasn't necessary, it was a simple request. The restaurant itself is like any diner setting and spacious. Today I tried the Bayou Sausage Skillet. It was good but not amazing. I'm glad I got the Santa Fe sauce on the side because I didn't like it, but that's just preference. The home fried potatoes were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning (and this is coming from someone who complains food is salty). I would get the skillet again for sure but the only other downside is, it says roasted corn but it's canned corn and wasn't really roasted. But over all still a good breakfast.

Parking: Plenty available Ambience: Large and spacious, great for large groups. Lots of windows with plenty of outdoor light streaming in. Open and inviting layout. Front counter with variety of baked goods available. Service: Friendly and patient with our large group! Taste: Got the farm skillet, which was delicious and HUGE. Enough for leftovers / seconds :)

My friend and I stopped by Kickback Jack's in Rancho Cucamonga for Sunday breakfast, and we both left happy and full! We ordered almost the same thing -- waffles, bacon, sausage, and eggs. My friend added strawberries and whipped cream to hers (and it looked so good!). I had two pieces of bacon and two sausages, and she went with four bacons. We both had coffee. The food came out hot and fresh -- everything tasted really good. The waffle was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I like it. Bacon was nice and crispy, eggs cooked just right, and the coffee hit the spot. It was pretty crowded since it was a Sunday morning, so we waited about 25 minutes, which honestly isn't bad at all for that time of day. Once we were seated, our waitress was very attentive and kind -- she checked on us several times and made sure our coffee stayed filled. The place has a comfortable, casual vibe, perfect for a relaxed weekend breakfast. Overall, a really good experience -- great food, friendly service, and worth the wait!

My friend and I shared a skillet and two pancakes, plus two orange juices -- and wow, the portions are HUGE! We seriously loved everything. The pancakes were honestly the best I've ever had, and the orange juice was super fresh which made it even better. Our server was the sweetest, always checking in and making us feel so welcome. Definitely one of my new favorite brunch spots!

The food is delicious and they serve big portions. Friendly service. We live about 24 minutes away, but it's worth drinking all the way to Rancho for breakfast at Kick Back Jack's.

Great breakfast in Rancho Cucamonga! We come for the dirty burrito with shredded beef and it's so good. Huge portions too! Definitely recommend trying this place.

The KickbackJack sandwich is SO good, tender chicken with bacon and avocado. Omg! I got the onion rings because our waitress recommended them, scrumptious and crispy, so fresh, loved them. My husband ordered steak and eggs. He was happy with his meal. The service was great, our waitress was polite and checked in on us frequently. The ambiance is very family friendly, its nice and chill. They do have mimosa flights but I didn't get to try any this time. The portions are decent for the pricing, I thought everything was good. I had my husband get a side of pancakes, they were huge and delicious!

5 Stars -- An Amazing Family Celebration After Nora's Baptism…read more We came to Richie's Diner in Rancho Cucamonga after a very special morning for our family, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about the experience. Earlier that morning, our daughter Nora was baptized at Water of Life Church, which was a huge moment for her and for all of us as a family. Afterward, we wanted a place where we could sit down with friends and family, relax, enjoy a good meal, and continue celebrating the day. Richie's Diner ended up being the perfect choice. We had a group of 12, which is not always easy for a restaurant to handle, especially on a day when everyone is excited, hungry, talking, laughing, and trying to keep the kids settled. But Richie's handled it without any issue at all. From the moment we walked in, everything felt organized, welcoming, and comfortable. Nobody made us feel like our group was an inconvenience. That matters. A lot of restaurants can technically seat a bigger party, but not every restaurant actually makes that group feel wanted. Richie's did. The customer service was honestly the highlight of the visit, and Francisco deserves a huge shout-out. He was absolutely amazing with our table. He was attentive, friendly, patient, and had the kind of personality that makes a meal feel more personal. He did not just take orders and disappear. He actually engaged with us. What really stood out was how he took the time to talk WWE with the kids. That may sound like a small thing, but it meant a lot. The kids loved it. They lit up because he was not just treating them like kids sitting at the table; he was treating them like part of the experience. That kind of service cannot be faked. Francisco made the meal more fun and memorable for them, and as a parent, I really appreciate that. The manager, Jimmy Z, also deserves to be recognized. Jimmy always takes good care of us when we come in, and this visit was no different. He has that old-school hospitality that you do not see as much anymore. He pays attention, checks in, and makes you feel like your business actually matters. When he found out we were there celebrating Nora's baptism, he gave her a candy on the house, which was a very sweet gesture. Again, it may sound simple, but those are the moments people remember. Nora felt special, and that was the whole point of the day. Jimmy also gave us some cookies to take home, which was completely unnecessary but very much appreciated. It was thoughtful, generous, and just another example of why we keep coming back. The whole staff did a great job with our group. With 12 people, there are always extra requests, drink refills, kids needing something, people changing their minds, or food coming out at different times. But everything went smoothly. Our waiter took care of us without missing a beat. The food came out hot, the orders were right, and nobody at our table felt forgotten. That is not easy with a larger party, and it says a lot about how well the place is run. Now, the food was excellent too. I had the omelette, and it was perfect. A good omelette sounds simple, but anyone who eats breakfast out knows there is a big difference between an average omelette and one that is actually done right. This one was cooked properly, had great flavor, and hit exactly the way a classic diner breakfast should. It was hearty without being sloppy, and everything tasted fresh. The homemade jelly was another standout. That stuff is amazing. You can tell the difference immediately between basic packaged jelly and something that actually has character and flavor. It added a little something extra to the meal and made the breakfast feel more homemade and special. Those little details are part of what separates a place like Richie's from a generic breakfast spot. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, and it was grilled outside to perfection. The flavor was excellent, and the cook on it was exactly what you hope for when ordering a steak at a diner-style restaurant. It had that grilled flavor, good texture, and was clearly handled with care. Sometimes restaurants treat steak like an afterthought on a breakfast or diner menu, but that was not the case here. Her ribeye was legitimately impressive. Our friend ordered the filet mignon, and that was exceptional as well. It is not every day you go to a diner and hear someone at the table talking about how good the filet mignon is, but that was the case here. It was cooked well, flavorful, and definitely exceeded expectations. Between the omelette, the ribeye, the filet, and the sides, everyone at our table left happy. What I appreciate most about Richie's Diner is that it still feels like a real family restaurant. There is something very traditional and comforting about it. You walk in and it feels like a place where people know how to treat customers. The food is good, the portions are solid, the staff is kind, and management is present. That combination is hard to find.
