I am so disappointed in your restaurant. I had high hopes in finding a better choice for game day. I host a Denver Broncos fans club weekly and decided you give you a try...ultimate FAIL! I ordered 1hr ahead to make sure I would be home in time, upon arrival I was asked if I placed my order at the right location. The take out girl finally realized that she forgot to place my order. I came back 20 minutes later and left with my order, arrived at home with soggy raw wings even after a specific order of extra crispy. Terrible service and terrible food. You have now lost 20+ potential customers. Don't waste your money on this restaurant.***trying again after over a year. So far, 15 mins to get a beer, ordered 10 wings crispy and 10 dry rub...came out all dry rub. Our waitress became nonexistent after the issue. The service is terrible, but it seems to be because the waitresses are expected to cover a ridiculous number of tables. Our waitress was super nice. Didn't make up for only getting one refill the whole hour or so we were there and having to wait almost 10 minutes to tell her my dining companion's side was wrong. The atmosphere here also sucks. All the female waitresses are made to wear shorts rolled up to right under their butt cheeks, while the (very few) male waiters just wear pants. Not completely blown away by this place. This review is only for the drinks and experience we got with the waitresses. The woman that seats you when you first walk in isn't the most inviting. She seemed almost too busy to notice us. We went to the bar and sat down for a couple of drinks. The drinks are lightly poured and don't have much flavor to them. This restaurant keeps going downhill fast. We has a waitress who said she was working the party room which is why she wasn't waiting on us. Zero service because of this. Then leaves my son's meal off and didn't bring it out. The the manager comes out completely clueless and worthless explaining why. This makes multiple trips to this nasty place, raw chicken, bad service, crappy managers. Not worth going to anymore. Too many better option s for sure. The inside is very sports bar looking with a open concept floor plan. There are TVs everywhere and a bar if that's your choosing. There's a lot of high table tops and large booths to accommodate groups or families. The menu is fairly small but there are daily specials. The prices all seem pretty reasonable. We ordered burger platters with French fries. The burgers were nice and thick patties, very well done for just over $8. I added pickles to mine and they are the nice big sliced ones! The service we had was pleasant. Our waitress checked on us often and was always nice. My only complaint is that the manager came by and turned up the television volume to where it was absolutely blaring. Overall it wasn't a bad first visit. read more

For starters, I was offered a serving position. During my interview they were very nice and respected that I have children. 11/03/22~First night of TRAINING. I was informed I may have to stay past midnight to close. I was willing to work till 11 but I could not stay that late tonight. I informed TINA(the manager). She then had an attitude and said "we may not be able to keep you here". and she immediately got hostile and said "I was warned about you". I then came to the conclusion this establishment is not for me. Before this occurred, I ordered a meal to bring home since we do not get breaks or can't eat during working hours. As for reference I ordered the firehouse burger (medium rare). Once I came home and took the first bite I instantly saw that is was completely RAW. Visited here for the first time recently to catch up with friends; mid-afternoon on a weekday. The three of us sat in the outside bar area at a long table (6 - 8 top) & the waitress brought menus and our beer orders were taken quickly. Subsequent checks were a bit slow with us running out of drinks before being checked on. When she came by the last time, we asked for the check, which she quickly brought. She scooped up the menus, which were at the far end of the table - and followed our party to the bar register where they paid. I was the only one left at the table and suddenly noticed my phone was gone. Everyone else's was there, but mine had disappeared. I went to the register and asked my husband if he had it - he didn't. Then I remembered the "find my" feature and used my Apple Watch to ping my phone. I did this several times, and I could hear it in the bar area but couldn't pinpoint where it was... then I noticed it on top of the stack of menus. My husband and I have frequented the location in Greensboro for years, but live much closer to this new venue so we decided to try it one afternoon for lunch before our movie. The decor is simple and modern: tons of flat screens everywhere as it is a sports bar. The service was good​ but slow. ​We ordered the bacon cheese fries, which are an appetizer, but took 15+ minutes to arrive at the table despite us being some of the only patrons in the entire restaurant. The food was quite delicious as we've come to expect. They have generous portions, which is also the norm. The prices are consistent with the quality. Overall a good experience. read more

We had a group of 8 wanting to celebrate my oldest son birthday. I called ahead and they told me that they had tables but it might change by the time we got there. When we got to the restaurant there was a wait of 30 min, at least that is what we were told. To which I understood it's an estimate specially with the size of our group. The young ladies at the front were very nice and tried to assist as much as they could to accommodate us, but it can't be said the same for the manager, who said her name was Tina. I have never encountered a manager this rude and disrespectful. As a person that works in the food industry and is in management I can not believe that an establishment would have someone like her as the lead of their restaurant. I know what long hours with heavy volume of customers is, but not even in my most busy day would I have talked to a customer the way she addressed me. The treatment was so deplorable that we ended up leaving without eating even though we had already waited 45 minutes, and if we would had been dealing with the young ladies form the front I would had waited some more. It is a sad experience because the week before I had brought a group of 15 to eat there on Sunday and the treatment was very good. But after this experience I see me and the groups that I'm member of choosing a different restaurant I will also be very vocal about our experience. From the reviews is evident that someone at their headquarters in Greensboro don't care because there are plenty of complaints and no change. From the way she addressed me when I asked for a number it was clear that it was not her first time being so rude to a customer to the point of the customer wanting to place a complaint, to which she really didn't care. Employees like her are just toxic, and only care about a check, they don't care how they affect the establishment, simply because if the establishment goes down and closes they just go and get a job somewhere else and continue the bad cycle of spreading toxicity with their attitudes. read more

Before I start this review, to be fair, the food was good. I have never given a two star rating before. I have a tendency to save that for especially bad places. And one star means I got up and walked out. Which I was near doing. I was seated at 5:02. I was by myself and the restaurant was not busy. At 5:23 (yes I checked the time) I still had not been talked to by anyone. Finally a waitress who had no intention of being my waitress came by and asked if anyone had talked to me yet. I said no and she took my order. I found this place on yelp as I am not a resident here. I read the poor reviews and hoped that they were wrong. While I got full and the wings I had were acceptable, I would not go back to this restaurant for anything. Sports Bar, lots of TV's up in here, they have outdoor seating also ... a group of us from the office came here after work one evening, we had a number of different appetizers, The ones I tried were all pretty good, the the quesadilla was probably my favorite, it was great with the Cajun spiced chicken and chipotle ranch. I also had the SantaFe Chicken Salad, it was really good, the chicken breast was cooked perfectly and had great flavor with the southwestern spices, underneath the chicken, the salad had a black bean salsa and pico de gallo on a bed of greens along with some brightly colored tortilla chips, it looked great and tasted great. read more

The joy of dining is the idea of spending quality times. This was the worst service i have ever experienced at any dining establishment. We were a group of 12 which means an automatic gratuity. We ordered drinks that took over an hour and the food was a 2 hour wait. One of our drinks had a fruit fly/ bug rested on the slice of lime. I ordered grilled wings with the Habanero sauce on the side. i had to sent the item back to the kitchen due to the fact the items was drenched with the sauce. The second time the item was brought back to the table they were decent and tasted pretty good. Since dining is about quality of time and food- I will need to rate this a one star experience. read more

So, I went on a Saturday with the expectation that Kickback's would have the Top 25 Appalachian State Mountaineers game vs. Central Florida. It was on ESPN-plus. When I asked if one of the 35 TVs in the place be tuned to the App State game, I was told the SPORTS BAR didn't get that channel. So,I settled in to watch the UNC Star Heels when the TV I was watching switched to another game IN THE MIDDLE OF A SCORING PLAY. I called a manager. She restored the Tar Heel game and explained the bar pays $6000 a month for cable and seemed to blame ESPN for putting in-State games by the state's only Too 25 team on channels her SPORTS BAR does not receive. The problem with this place is that it's just another typical sports bar. There is nothing that really separates this place from the others. I kept looking for the fun in Kickback Jack's and there really was none to be had until I had at least three cocktails! Yes, you are surrounded by TV's and it has a nice sound system, but other than that it's just ordinary. The ribs do not come with enough sauce, so if you are a rib lover seek your fix else where! We live near this location and have been several times. Each time the hostess is rude, just seats you and keeps going. This time tried to seat us half outside/inside. It was cold so we asked to be inside, seams she didn't like that, finally got a booth after she cleaned it even though many other empty booths. We ordered and our appetizer came with our meal so we told them we did not want it, they did take it off our check. We talked to the manager about how rude the hostess desk is every time, how they just stand and talk to each other and do not welcome you when you come in. He seamed to care less. I wish I could rate no stars on this thing! Let me make a list of what went down: 1) we didn't get menus for like 15 mins (it wasn't busy) 2) our waitress didn't write down our orders, which isn't an issue... but we didn't get half of our order until the end of our meal. I ordered wings with celery and fries. And didn't get the celery until like 20 mins later after eating my wings. I would have waited, but it took too long. 3) the nachos were cold once given 4) now on to the next issue, my sister ordered some fried pickles and didn't like them at all. We notified our waitress and she kindly took it back and said she would take care of it. The "manager" Tosha, came back and was very passive aggressive and confrontational. She was like: "so tell me what was wrong with the pickles?" We told her that we simply didn't like them because they were way too breaded. And she was like "well that's how we make them here" and she said she would take care of it and was very rude and short with us. 5) the staff made it blatantly obvious by staring at us and giving us looks 6) we still got charged with the pickles that we didn't like, even when she said she would take care of it 7) no refills So moral of the story, the waitress was more professional than the "manager." This is one of our favorite local bar and grill type restaurants. The wings are usually phenomenal but the last time we visited the size of the drumsticks were smaller than they've been. But the flavor was still great. The biggest problem with this location is the manager. She acts like customers are an annoyance. The only good appetizer is the nachos and they are WELL WORTH it: piled high with chili, jalapeño and sour cream. The first few weeks, the waitstaff was struggling. I think they have it together now. If you hate smoke, always eat on the left side of the restaurant or as far from the patio as possible. Overall, it's a sports/ wings joint like BWW. I am really happy to rate this restaurant because I had the privilege of adding it to Yelp! I will use my new restaurant rating scale as well. 1. Ambiance - We were greeted warmly at a group of young ladies in very short shorts at the door and shown to our table immediately. Kickback Jack's is a sports bar on steroids. I counted over 40 TVs and the bar area is HUGE. There are several different seating areas including a patio! The place was clean and I saw a young lady with a broom and dust pan sweeping around the place during our entire meal. The bathroom was very clear and there is a television in there as well. 2. Service - The hostess did not just seat us and walk away, she spent a little time telling us about the specials and her favorite things on it. Our server was there quickly and offered her recommendations and a quick description of the freshness of the ingredients and shared that most menu items are cooked on site. I must say that our server, Kedejah, was a delight and saved the rating from a 4 to a 5. She was bright, attentive but not overly so, and quick to remedy the few slip ups in service. 3. Presentation - The food arrived warm and was properly plated. The server dropped some of my shrimp and Kedejah made sure to bring m more Shrimp to replace it. 4. Taste - Everything we ate was tasty. My husband had the Asian Chicken Salad. It was made with fresh romaine lettuce, red cabbage, fresh red peppers, Mandarin oranges, sugar coated roasted pecans, rice noodles and sun-dried cranberries topped with grilled chicken and Orange Ginger dressing. Just the right balance of toppings and greens. The chicken was seasoned and moist and all of the ingredients were fresh. I had the ribs and shrimp combo which consisted of a full rack of pork baby back ribs plated with six jumbo hand-breaded shrimp. It is offered with fries and coleslaw but I substituted a small salad for the fries. The coleslaw was crisp but tender with just the right amount of dressing and tasted homemade. The shrimp was lightly breaded and so good! I had the house made honey mustard and I liked it very much. And those ribs were succulent. Meaty and slathered with a great tasting barbecue sauce, I will have to say they are memorable. My husband also ordered a plate of 10 chicken wings. They were too hot for my taste and it took the entire meal for my mouth to stop burning. 5. Value - Our bill was only $38 for an appetizer, substituting a salad, but only water to drink. So you only have one line here and apparently someone in the back is just talking to someone and nobody can call in to place an order?
