If I could give no stars, I would. My review is coming from not even eating the food because I didn't get that far. I didn't even get a drink. The staff is absolutely horrible and rude. They only want to sit you where they want you to sit even though the place was completely empty and only a few TVs had our game on. The manager on duty was a complete b***** and needs to learn how to be a manager and please her customers. She should probably just find a different career if you want the truth. I would just go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a paying customer by a company that actually cares. read more

Friend suggested to go to dinner at the new Kick Back Jacks in High Point. I thought, since this is a brand new restaurant, for sure it couldn't be as horrible as the one in Asheboro. Well it was a big party we had 9, I knew we were going to have to wait since it wa so many. Well we waited 30 minutes and then, we saw 2 of the waitresses talking and said they gave out table to someone else. Have tried this placed twice now. The chicken, shrimp and salmon was overcooked and dried out. Waiting for our food to get there was sporadic in bringing it to the table for everyone. Had to ask 2 or 3 times for a salad for one of the guests. If it hadn't been for the fact they mandatory add the tip to the bill there would not have been a tip. read more

Although a soft grand opening the help were not the most professional in appearance as well as in actions. We love your ribs.... but won't be back. We came tonight (3/21/2021) and you were out of ribs. Ok, we can find something else to eat. Then my husband requested a steak knife for his sirloin, and it took more than 10 minutes and him having to ask a second time to get one. Then the waitress gave us some lame excuse about having to run them through the wash, but when he finally got the knife, it was not warm at all. (So don't think that story was the truth) My husband told her his steak had gotten cold while waiting on the knife. He even tried to saw away at it with a butter knife, but it's a sirloin. Not the most tender cut of meat. She didn't offer to refill our water glasses until after we asked for the check, and then it was to ask if we wanted to-go cups. In fact, once she learned we were unhappy with the experience, she stayed clear of our table except to give us the check. On the way out, we believe she was talking about us because the two waitresses she was talking to gave us dirty looks. We did not yell, we did not make a scene (other than I went to find a knife myself). We didn't ask to see a manager to get our meal comped. My husband just told her we were not happy with our experience. I think we are entitled to that. read more

If I could leave a a zero star I would. Kickbacks was one of our family favorites until tonight. We arrived at 6:30 and put our name on the list for 6 and a high chair. We waited until about 7:00 with multiple large parties being sat before us. My husband went to check and we were told we would we were next. So we sat and waited for about 20 more minutes and still even larger parties than us were being sat first. Finally after waiting for an hour we left and went to Hams at the palladium where we were seated instantly and had a wonderful meal. Apparently kick backs is not family friendly. I attempted to eat at this location the other night. The parking lot was 2/3rds full so I thought we would get right in. Walked in to a 30 min wait and about 25 people waiting for a table. BEYOND TERRIBLE, our server seemed bothered w checking on food allergies, not dislikes or modifications but ALLERGIES THAT COULD MAKE ME SERVERLY ILL, told us shredded cheese wasn't an option to add to French fries, that we could only get a cheese sauce on the side, but when our food was brought out INCORRECT the first time the Baked Potatoes we didnt order had shredded cheese on them....... our food was returned to the kitchen to replace the incorrect item, which was simply slid off the plate as our FF were placed on top of the cheese that had fallen from the baked potatoes onto the plate and returned 5 minutes later (yes I timed it) the steaks were Luke warm at best, broccoli was Cold as were the fries. After at least trying some of each item as we had been traveling all day which were completely unacceptable and moving the place from in front of me with disgust and complete disappointment, our server, WHO WATCHED ME PUSH THE PLATE AWAY, had the audacity to go back to the "open" server staion, point at our table and motion about me pushing away the plate began laughing with other staff. She then came by after seeing the manager who came out after being requested to the table, who acknowledged that he could tell the food was cold BASED SOLELY ON THE SIGHT OF OUR FOOD (mind you again I timed it, was 2 minutes after receiving the food) and smuggly asked if everything was ok???? The ONLY thing good here is the beer. We will Never come back for anything but a cold beer. read more

First time visiting after hearing positive reviews albeit about a different location (Greensboro). Unfortunately we didn't even receive service. Our family sat for over 10 minuets while numerous servers walked past without acknowledging our presence. Several parties were seated after us and servers took their orders. This place is huge, lots of big TVs, xl booths for seating and good food. The menu has a good assortment to chose from. You can choose to have your wings dry rubbed, fried w/ batter, or just plain ol fried w/o the batter, and you have a pretty decent choice of flavors. Good traditional American bar food. My husband and I went out for dinner here last night and it was one of the most frustrating dining experiences we have had in the area. We stood at the host stand for close to a full 8 minutes (long time when there's no one around you and the hostesses have seemingly disappeared). Multiple managers and other servers came up to the front, but none asked if we had been helped or offered a table. I would be more understanding of this if it were 4 or 9 clock, shift changes and people leaving for the evening can throw off your front area. But, it was 6pm, prime dinner time. We finally get a table literally beside the bathrooms, and it takes a while for a server to actually come greet us. She came, abruptly put some coasters down and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a sweet tea and a water- she came back 60 seconds later and asked who had what, and rudely asked if we were ready to order. We haven't even opened our menus yet- a clear sign we probably aren't ready. She huffed away before i could actually place an appetizer order (onion fries). We finally saw her again a while later and ordered a beer, and the appetizer. The appetizer came out promptly and the beer took a good while to get from the bar to us by a different server who ran the beverage over. We finally see our server again and place our dinner order. We had fish and chips with coleslaw and a caesar salad, and a pepperoni pizza. We get through the onion straws, which were basically oil soaked slivers of onions with a thick, tasteless breading that slipped right off the onion piece. They were manageable, but tasted like old state-fair food. A server runs our dinner over from the kitchen, and I ask for some hot sauce. She said OK and never came back. I was also missing the side salad, and assumed the server that brought the food didn't fully read the ticket and left part of the order in the cold window. Our server was NO where to be found for at least 10 full minutes. I'd already finished the coleslaw, and my husband most of his flatbread/pizza. She finally comes back and I let her know that my salad and hot sauce was missing- she huffs away again and brings back a salad that has clearly been sitting in the window for an extended amount of time. Floppy, dressing soaked lettuce, croutons so soft you could use them as your pillow, and a dirty plate. The fish for the fish and chips was so thin that I truly wondered what kind of fish it was...the breading was soggy and tasteless, with no seasoning whatsoever. The tartar sauce was so gross it could be considered a crime. Our server was basically non-existent and checked back when we had stacked every plate up to signify that we were done with our meal. We finally paid, and left. There's no hospitality at this restaurant, because the hostesses and a manager were glumly sitting around while we went through the front door- no acknowledgment that paying guests were leaving. I'd also like to note that having a seat near the bathroom means you can observe the servers and bartenders going in and out of the bathroom while keeping their aprons on, as well as bartenders going in with their bar towels hooked to their waist. These are not things you do in the restaurant business if you'd like to maintain an A-level of cleanliness and sanitation. Also observed were multiple servers carrying glasses of wine at the lip-line. Our meal was $45, including the tip (because while the service was awful, it could have been significantly worse and I understand the pain of working for 2.13 an hour in this state), and I will for sure never spend that again in this establishment. It was such a waste of money- and in this area there are too many options that have better food at better prices with excellent service. Loved the atmosphere, parking lot packed, went in surprisingly we sat right down. I got dry rub wings, very good. Husband got shrimp and steak. Cooked perfectly. Appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip with chips . It was hot when arrived . TVS everywhere!! There was an outside eating area and cornhole game going on. Will tell all my friends to eat there. Kickback Jacks is a great place to go and catch some games. They have good sized TVS everywhere and the staff seems to be cool with you just hanging out WS arching the game. As kind as your drinking. Lol. Good food, good service. read more

Four of us had dinner here on Monday night. We were first seated at a booth in the bar area but when we asked to move to a different section of the restaurant, we were quickly moved to another area. We each had different things... pizza, steak, wraps, and wine and everyone enjoyed what they had. Our server was Brennah and she checked back on us often. This was my first dinner experience although I had been to this place for lunch four times previously. All visits have been good experiences with both the food and the staff, too. It is noisy but that's to be expected in a sports bar. I'll be back! read more

The food was *really* good. The service...meh. Our waitress was very inattentive. We never got refills on drinks and had to ask a neighboring server to find her to bring plates with our appetizer. My wife found a hair in her burger. It happens, so not too upset about that....the management handled it quickly and professionally. Really the only complaint is with the server. I have ordered takeout from this new Kickback Jack's twice. Each time I have ordered dry rub wings. The first time I received grilled wings. I chalked it up as an error on the order. This second time, I again ordered dry rub, FRIED HARD (because the first time I received grilled PINK wings). Again, my wings weren't cooked thoroughly. When my husband called back to advise them of our half cooked wings, the MANAGER proceeded to tell my husband the process of cooking the wings and the temperature they're cooked. He politely stopped her and advised that we were staring at PINK wings. She offered a coupon and hung up on my husband after he told her he was just calling to advise that the wings weren't cooked all the way through. We dined in once after the first take out order (didn't order wings) and the food was mediocre. Service was fair. Not the best, but fair. We were excited about a new spot in the area. However, after the manager disrespectfully hung up, we won't be back. You can have great food, but when the manager of an establishment doesn't want to take responsibility for an issue and has a bad attitude on top of that, I'm done. I may be one customer and this may not happen to anyone else, but this is your heads up. read more

I would not give this restaurant one star but have to because you don't get the choice if want to post a review. So I'm posting one star but I give this place a zero. I went here for dinner and the restaurant was not busy at all. I ordered my food and it was brought to me and then the waitress disappeared. She never came back to check on me There was no salt or pepper on the table so I had to go to another table and get it. Also never once did I get a refill on my drink and when finished I had to ask another waitress for the check and she couldn't find her so I went to the front asked for the manager and she (Gina) did not seem to care. So I called corporate and Chris Coyne said he would take care of it. Never did I get offered a free meal or anything. This was not my first time there that I had a problem with the service. Last summer I went with my running group and none of us got the correct order and took two hours to get our food. So I was giving them a second chance but I don't think I'll go back now. read more

Awful Experience! Went to Hickory, NC restuarant for a night of family fun and watching football. Thirteen of us (10 adults 3 kids). We always go here to watch football. Appetizers were delicious but our main entrees were cold. All 13 of us. It took a long time for us to get our food. When we asked to talk with the manager, the manager didn't want to come. The waitresses tried to order us new food but we were done and ready to leave. When the manager finally did come, she acted like we were wrong and how could our food be cold. She said she would go and check on the kitchen and get back with us. She never came back. She sent the waitresses to give us free kids meals on our next visit. We didn't want free food we just wanted to pay our bill and leave. We rejected the kids meals because we knew at that point we were not coming back. The waitresses took forever (45+ minutes) to get our bills straight when we told them up front when they were taking our order who was on which check. After waiting 45 minutes and 3 tries of getting our bill wrong, my brother in law went to find the manager. We asked her to step in to help the waitresses and she stated she didn't know they were having trouble. The other manager on duty came up and was very rude. We tried to explain our experience to him and he was having nothing to do with it. He basically stated and I quote, "The patrons at this restuarant are never right." That was it! I was done. Paid our bill (which was still wrong) and left. I was done with the insults and non-caring rudeness from the staff. We will not be going back! read more
