On July 10, 2026, I purchased a 2020 Tesla Model 3 from Kian Motors. The sales person who assisted me was Nick Warren and he also held the title of manager. The purchase was efficient - I paid their full asking price with no haggling and was out the door in about an hour including financing through one of their preferred lenders. The following morning, I took my newly purchased car to Discount Tire to confirm the condition of the tires and potentially purchase insurance on them and was told that they were at a level that warranted immediate replacement. The tread depth ranged from 2/32 to 5/32. I believed that I had purchased from a reputable dealership and was shocked to find out they would sell me a car with such low tire tread, especially without disclosing it to me. I spent a total of $1,178 dollars replacing the tires. I reached back out to Nick on Monday 7/13 and requested assistance in covering the replacement tires and was told he would run it by "the owners" to see what they could do. I went followed up with him several times over the last 9 days and finally got an answer this morning that they would not do anything for me. I was not expecting that they fully cover brand new tires on a used vehicle but do believe they should share in the cost. Do not do business with them! I purchased a vehicle from them and was lied to. They did make one thing right after having issues but will not respond anymore regarding another issue. Maybe I should have done more research prior but they are not honest and will screw you over. I was told the vehicle was in a wreck but the air bags did NOT deploy and EVERYTHING was fixed from said wreck to only the passenger side. I tried calling several times, left voicemails and no one would call me back. I finally got nick back on the phone and he told me to send him everything and "let me see what we can do for you" and has ghosted me since. Be warned, they are not "Tesla Experts" and you will have to learn things like the Texas Deceptive Practices Act if you do business with them. In my case, the car was throwing hardware errors on my test drive. They made them temporarily disappear, assured me it was fine and have now ghosted me so I'm soliciting attorneys. My test drive was on December 27th and Tesla provided much evidence (see attachments) this was a valid problem well before that time. I bought a 2019 bmw x6 M. I'm located in greenville SC while kian is in Plano Texas so the entire transaction was remote, I didn't get to see the car prior to it being delivered to me. According to the carfax the title was clean, however it listed 'structural damage'. I asked my salesman John at kian and he said that they have to list minor exterior chips scratches etc. as that, then he recommended I contact an inspector do piece of mind, recommending 'the lemon squad' . I ordered the full inspection through the lemon squad and they got someone out there for me. besides minor things like the oil needing to be changed the lemon squad passed all parts of the inspection on the vehicle. when the vehicle was delivered I immediately noticed the internal right turn signal wasn't working, this was never disclosed. Then the chassis malfunction light came on day later and I knew I messed up dealing with Kian motors. I took the car to my local BMW dealer and they estimated ~$9000 in a myriad of issues with the vehicle, leaks , parts needs to be replaced etc. to this point I have owned the vehicle 11 days. Oh the right turn signal hasnt functioned once yet. How could this dealer not know all these things were wrong with the vehicle? How could the inspector they recommended to me not even note that the right turn signal did not work at all? This is clearly foul play and bad business practice, I was sold a lemon. Of course I callled and my salesman John immediately got defensive and said he made me no guarantees and to take it up with Nick who I guess is the owner. now I await to see if my extended warranty will cover these issues and I haven't even owned the car two weeks. Even if it does cover, if I did not pay thousands for the warranty I would be literally screwed. I highly recommend you do not trust this dealership. After researching the car and getting a Carfax, I discovered the car had a branded title and was a buyback/lemon. It would have been nice to know that in advance and have it disclosed in the listing. Nick the manager sold me a car sight unseen and I made sure that he was selling me a car that was gone through and in great condition. Car shows up and a rim is cracked straight through the spoke. Looking back at the pics he sent me sure enough...there it is. He said he would send me out a new rim but that was over three months ago. I've been calling and getting ignored, leaving messages...getting the runaround. Last I talked to him he said he had the rim. Obviously that was a bold lie. They NEVER verbally told me that this meant it had a branded title. I saw one checkbox on the financing paperwork indicating the branded title. Went to test drive a 2022 GMC Yukon on 11/21/25. Handed over our license and was given keys to take the truck out. When we returned the entire staff and owner whom we had not met until we returned were outside with the police. We parked the vehicle and before I could safely get the vehicle in park the owner had rushed past the police officer and snatched the driver door open yelling and swearing in my face. He continued to charge at us even with the police directing him to step away. in the mist of it all the confusion, charging, and yelling I'm explaining to the officer and staff that we wanted to purchase the vehicle which had been sitting on his lot for 7 months. Nothing would stop this man from continuing to spew his insults, stating we were uneducated, stupid profanities and making statements about not being able to afford a new car because the headlights didn't work on the vehicle we owned and drove to his lot hence why we're in the market for a new vehicle. We kept telling the man we wanted to purchase his vehicle and nothing would suffice him or his staff. We ended up leaving without solving or really getting a chance to explain what happened during the test drive. The police did not feel the need to detain us nor ask for IDs, names, etc which made me believe that the owner had no grounds for pressing charges, or being as angry as he was. From what I gathered the owner was upset that we actually test drove his truck. Staff explained that they expected us to test drive and return the vehicle after 5 minutes (which is laughable) when considering a 50k+ purchase. Said staff member also stated that we could have had the car longer if they had known we wanted to actually do more than drive it but since we put our 4 kids in it, fitted car seats, strollers, my grandma and her wheel chair in the vehicle it had taken too long and made him angry. We drove the vehicle approx 25 miles in the couple hrs we had it for test drive and put gas in it because we were confident in buying the vehicle. Staff did not tell us we couldn't do such things nor that we had 5 minutes to test drive until we returned with the vehicle. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MENTIONED BEFORE WE LEFT THE LOT AND DEFINITELY BEFORE THE POLICE WERE CALLED. I have never had this reaction about doing the things I did to make sure the vehicle worked for our family. I bought a used Tesla model 3, the service wasn't bad and went through their financing, I should of realized their was red flags when they insisted a service contract was required as part of the financing which by Texas law it isn't I went along with it since I know Texas has a free look period for 30 days so as long as I cancelled before then I'd get all my money back. The service contract was for 2 years or 24k miles and the price was about $4,700 so extremely overpriced since I drive 20-30k miles a year but I was able to successfully cancel it but the problem arose when it was time for the refund since I cancelled it officially on April 23, 2025 and it's June 16th and all my calls are pretty much given the run around and no response from them by email either, fortunately Texas requires a 10% penalty for every month they don't refund it so I'll make sure to file in small claims court right at the 2 months so I get at least an extra 1k plus legal fees. If I could give zero stars, I would. I had meant to write this review a long time ago, but seeing as I just got an email asking me how a year has been with my truck...what better time than now. I struggle to find words for just how shady, rude, and deceitful my experience with this dealership was. I'll try to summarize all the issues...but it's a long list. I purchased a 1982 Toyota FJ45 truck from them last February. I paid a bit of a premium on it, over third party, because I wanted a well inspected vehicle and on their site it said all vehicles go through a 150 point inspection. They NEVER had this thing on a lift nor did any sort of inspection. If they had, they would have seen how dangerous the vehicle they sent me was. I'll go chronologically. The truck arrived and I immediately noticed that the doors wouldn't lock. The lock cylinders were different and there was no key for them. They claimed "we never tried the locks because we don't get much crime here"...BS. I then noticed that the brake lights didn't work. I called the dealership and they stated the brake lights worked when they shipped it. This was a lie. It isn't possible that the brake lights worked. I traced the wiring and realized the brake lights were on the same fuse as the horn which didn't work. Someone accidentally wired a negative to a positive on the horn circuit, thus blowing a fuse every single time, as soon as the car was started. Even worse is that someone swapped the 15A fuse for a 30A fuse to try and lazily troubleshoot. What this did was cause the wiring near the horn to get too hot and MELT the wire shielding. How do you not notice this with an inspection? So, I fixed this on my own time and parts. I asked them to cover it all. A few days later, I took the car on an hour long drive on a 55mph road. When I got close to the end destination, I noticed a dragging noise and looked in the side mirror to notice a lot of smoke. Seconds later, I lost all braking power. I had my girlfriend and dog in the truck. Thank GOD I was able to coast to a stop with nobody in front of me. I hopped out to find the brake lines ruptured and BOTH rear brake calipers destroyed. The driver, rear caliper had completely fallen from the carrier bracket and jammed in the wheel. The pass, rear was hanging on by 1 bolt. The truck had a clunk sound when starting from a stop since I got it. I thought maybe it was just the old transmission. Now I know it was the calipers rotating on 1 bolt and slamming into the wheel. If Kian had inspected the vehicle, even just a little bit, they would have noticed that the bolts were loose, stripped, and too long for the calipers - having some thick, cast metal spacers put in to accommodate for the length. I was furious about this. This could have KILLED me and my family, had someone been in front of us. I called Kian and the gentleman that sold me the car, not the owner, said he they would cover it. A day later he informed me that the owner decided to only cover the lock cylinders because "it's an old truck". As someone who has owned and worked on old vehicles for 15 years, I've never once had anything fall off while driving. I've never had a hot wire routed into a ground. I've never been lied to during a purchase. I understand things going wrong on an old vehicle...like the water pump going out, or needing a new starter, but never should I expect that the brakes would fall off or the wiring be catching fire, especially on a vehicle that went through a "150 point inspection". This is when it somehow gets WORSE. I called to talk to the owner, several times. I was told he would call me back when he got back from an errand. He never called. Another day goes by and no call. I called back and was put on the phone with somebody who wasn't the owner, but presumably someone hire up than the gent that sold me the car. This guy was incredibly rude and dismissive of everything that happened. He took ZERO responsibility for anything and never admitted fault, even as I explained my reasoning as to how the vehicle could not have been inspected at all and arrived to me this way and how if a car had been in front of me or a turn been coming up, myself and my family could have been killed. He then LIED to me...just flat out lied. He said he was "in the background" when I initially called the sales rep to complain about the brakes failing. He said he overheard me state that I was "taking the vehicle offroad". This is 100% a lie. I never drove the truck off road. I was driving 50mph on a smooth 55mph road in Charleston, SC. So, either he was lying to me as a reactionary defense or the sales rep lied to him. Given his combative, macho man attitude on the phone...my guess is he fabricated the story. After a lot of arguing and him threatening to hang up, he eventually agreed to send me $750. I was tired of arguing, so I appeased and hung up. I am in Idaho and my wife in Wichita Falls we had to get everything set up so that when we came in, it would be as fast as sitting down signing the paperwork and being on our way out the door. DO NOT BUY from here. Worst experience. Worst place to buy. I bought a 335i from them with 82K miles for $20K same time last year. Today they won't even pay $10K for it. I was given the car which was burning oil very very bad. They don't inspect their cars at all. No negotiation. They have high end cars but all their cars are way overpriced and they don't do any inspection on them. Now mine has 84K mikes. Thanks to my extended warranty who put $16K worth of work new valve cover, turbo, charge pipe, wheel bearings, water pump & thermostat, spark plugs, oil pan gasket much more so far. Literally every week there's a major issue coming up. How is a car they are selling worth $20K with excessive oil burn and all the components of the engine replaced literally all the parts of the engine are being replaced. It's been nothing but a headache. Haven't enjoyed the 335 one bit. I took my car and told Nick who's the manager about all these issues. I was told they can't do anything about it. The only thing they can do is list it again on their site for $2K fee. What's next, I get a used engine for a $20K car I paid for? I'd give them a 0 if I could. Purchased my 2019 Silverado here this week. About 20 miles down the road the low tire pressure light comes on. As it turns out the tire pressure indicators where not installed at all. Found out you can block the computer from detecting the missing tire sensors for a while but not forever. I will say the people there where real nice while they stick it to you. read more

Not impressed at all. Bought a 2006 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. 10 days after purchasing, problems started. Convertible top stopped working, taillight went out (dealer put new bulb in day I purchased), then car wouldn't start. Spoke to Nick to see if owner would fix car, take car back with return of my down payment, or even buy car back. Nick stated that owner wouldn't do any of the above. Found out they had installed wrong car battery and even though I was told a new motor was installed for convertible, I was never given proof of that. So $248 later for new battery, $455 for new top motor and I'm sure $300 for install, I'm still not happy because I'm sure more issue to come in near future. For owner to not take car back, fix, nor even buy it back tells me they know of all issues but Mickey Moused repairs to make the sale then wiped their hands of that car. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! I cant believe how disappointed I was in dealing with Kian Motors. I purchased a 2017 Fiat 500 X Pop with 42k miles on it. A few days after driving it home the thing lit up like a Christmas tree over the weekend naturally. In speaking with a local Fiat dealership I was advised not to drive it and to have it taken in which I did. The invoice I received was a little over 1200 and when I returned to Kian to see if they would pay this their response was that I was overcharged at the dealership. My point to Kian was that I should have never had to take it to a dealership as I had only had the car for a few days. Kian agreed to pay me $300.00 (which I have no idea where that number came from) but needless to say I am very pissed off and disappointed and I highly discourage anyone from doing business with this dealership. read more

We have had an absolute nightmare experience with this dealership. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. We purchased a 2020 Tahoe from Kian Motors on 9/2/2023 with the understanding that this vehicle had the original VIN number and that all features that were advertised were operational. This was not the case. Upon purchase of the vehicle and after getting it home we discovered that many electrical features of the vehicle were not functioning (too many to even list here) and there was an obvious issue with the AC blower motor. We also found a users manual in the glove box showing that the speakers had been replaced, so not the original BOSE speakers as advertised. The next day the vehicle would not start at all. We had the vehicle towed to a Chevrolet dealership and it was discovered that this vehicle does not have the original assigned VIN number. The original VIN number has been scratched off the dash and removed from the driver door and there was a newly assigned VIN number from the state of Virginia. According to the state of Virginia a new VIN is assigned with total loss cases, salvage vehicles, stolen vehicles, etc. None of this information was disclosed to us upon purchase. After much back and forth with Kian Motors, they had this vehicle towed back to their dealership and they have continued to make claims to us that they will refund our purchase but this has yet to take place. Mind you, we have been without a drivable vehicle since we made the purchase at the beginning of September. So, we now have an outstanding auto loan, first payment due in a week, and no vehicle. It is clear that something happened to this vehicle prior to our purchase evidenced by the scratched off VIN number and assignment of another VIN number in a different state. There was no disclosure of any of this information and it's all been a gross misrepresentation of the what the vehicle was advertised to be. We have had NOTHING but the run around from Nick, the general manager, who continues to drag out this whole awful experience. We have been nothing but patient, but the patience has worn thin. So we now we move on to reporting to all the appropriate agencies and warning others. read more

Recently purchased a Jaguar from Kian motors, Nick "helped me" there. After purchasing the vehicle, I didn't make it over 2 hours off the lot before having mechanical issues, resulting in me getting home around midnight-1am driving the vehicle at low speeds. Also found out the vehicles key fob they gave me had no chip inside of it and ultimately was useless. Didn't provide more than 1 fob, but somehow the vehicle still ran. Took it to a Jaguar dealership 1hr away to get a key reprogrammed and they said there was something wired in to prevent them from programming a new fob. They also said it almost seemed as if the vehicle was stolen and wired to run without the key fob. Overall my experience with this dealership was worse than I can put into words. Besides the fact that they robbed me for a car that doesn't run properly, now I'm hearing it could potentially be stolen. Not impressed at all, I've also been trying to contact them for a week now and still have gotten 0 response with my situation. read more
