We reached out the next morning, asked if he had a GX 550 available, and from there, everything moved seamlessly. When we arrived, David greeted us, had the vehicle ready, handed us the keys, and simply said, "Take it for a drive." We had visited two other dealerships prior to this, and not one of them offered that level of trust or ease with a test drive. After our drive, David took the time to ask about our experience and walked us through the benefits of purchasing from Sewell. Before leaving, David and Jan also walked us through the technology in the vehicle, making sure we felt comfortable and confident with all the features. Since our purchase, we've returned for car washes, and both David and Jan have made a point to say hello and check in to ensure we're still happy with everything. We've had the best experience and will absolutely be back to work with David and the team at Sewell again.

I originally came in specifically for a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that was advertised online as CPO. After arriving at the dealership, I was informed the vehicle was actually not certified and only had around 500 miles remaining on the factory warranty. Despite that, the pricing remained consistent with what would typically be expected for a certified vehicle, and I was then encouraged to purchase an additional $3,000 extended warranty instead. As a buyer, that was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. On top of that, several promises made during the sales process were not properly followed through on, including the tint request. Communication throughout the process was poor, and expectations were not clearly managed. The vehicle also was not thoroughly detailed before delivery, as I am still finding personal belongings and food debris from the previous owner under the seats and floor mats. I want to be clear that my frustration is more with the dealership process than with any one individual employee. However, attention to detail, transparency, and follow-through are exactly why customers choose Sewell and pay Sewell-level prices. While I did end up getting the car I wanted I came in expecting exceptional service and a true Certified Pre-Owned buying experience, and unfortunately left with neither.

Yes, I drive a sports car…read more But, then again, would you expect that I'd be behind the wheel of something more pedestrian, such as an Chrysler Pacifica or Chevy Malibu? Of course not. Don't be silly. And, my two-seater sports car is none other than America's sports car. (And yes, there is only ONE America's sports car. You can figure it out.) None of those fancy Italian or German roadsters for me. And when it's time for service, I take my hot rod to Ray Huffines Chevrolet in Plano. No, I didn't buy my speedster at Huffines. Actually, I bought it in New Jersey, so I had to figure out a local Chevrolet dealer for my continuing service needs. After several service runs to other dealerships shortly after buying it that were less than satisfactory, I settled on Huffines. Why? Well, let me count the ways. This is my fourth America's Sports Car over the past twenty years. Prior to this one, I took my cars to several other Chevy dealerships in the Dallas area. And getting service from most of them was like being staked to an ant hill on a broiling August day. Matter of fact, most of the time, I would have chosen the ant hill. But over my five or six visits to Huffines, my service advisors have been timely upon my arrival and pleasant to deal with. And their estimates of the service cost and time frame have always been spot on. The waiting area is typical for a Chevy dealership. No fancy expresso machines, complimentary champagne, and hors d'oeuvres that you might find at your Lamborghini dealership. Again, this is a CHEVROLET dealership. And while you might not drive America's sports car, I'd bet that Huffines would be good for your Chevy Malibu, or maybe even some other vehicle brands. But if you do drive a Lamborghini, I'd probably play it safe at the Lambo dealership, especially if they serve some of those fancy Canapés while you're sipping a nice vintage of Dom Perignon.

She is recovering from stage 3 breast cancer and we wanted to get her a vehicle she's been dreaming of as a gift for going through chemo and radiation over the past year. It was around 1830 so it was starting to get dusky out, but still had about 1.5 hours until closing. Several cars outside were unlocked but inside the showroom all the SUV's were locked, Go figure! On top of that, we completely walked around inside for 45 minutes (whilst stopping to look at the interior wood trim/carpet/leather samples) and outside but couldn't get anyone to acknowledge our existence. My wife was wearing a slouchy beanie cancer cap since her hair was recovering from being bald....so I don't know if no one thought a sick person should be buying or leasing a BMW. Not a Manager, not a salesperson, not even the lady at the courtesy desk. But yet we saw 4 salespeople talking to a customer & helping transfer items from a trade to new BMW. FOUR! She was hoping to get a female salesperson but not even the two ladies we saw greeted or acknowledged her. It gives me pause to think no one wanted to acknowledge my lady who's gone through Hades the past year who is treating herself for beating and surviving stage 3 cancer. Sickening and appalling, actually! We haven't bought or leased another vehicle yet since she's deciding whether to lease or buy, but it completely turned her off of BWM and all Sewell dealerships period. Which means no Lexus, no Cadillac, no Audi, and no BWM. Thankfully, the Park Place and Crest and other dealerships exist; even if I have to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth or Grapevine. Their slogan should be "I Drive a Stool" because that's the service you'll get if the Ladies look less than healthy and wealthy. I see why a recent review calls the dealership personnel "cocky and arrogant" after a muti-million dollar expansion....because I can imagine how follow-ups and maintenance would be, even on a lease.
