I was in the market to buy a Toyota Prius right after 4th of July they were all selling right away. I am in Corpus Christi. It expanded my search throughout the whole state and that is when I found Addison Autoplex. The had a Prius which looked great at a good price the only problem was they are 6 hours plus from my house. So I called them as soon as the opened and asked if the car was still available, they said yes it was and that they would hold it for me. I told them it was going to be over 6 hours until I got there and were they sure they would hold it. I was speaking to the owner and he said if I was going to make that drive then he would certainly hold it for me. As I was driving up with my wife we got a call from Enrique who worked there and was being assigned by the owner to assist us. He was just confirming we were in route and asked about our ETA but was very nice and said don't rush see you when you get here. When we arrived we were greeted by Enrique and the owners who gave us some cold waters and then brought us to the the car that looked just like the pictures. We took her for a test drive and she drove great so we said yes let's sign papers and pay. They put on paper plate and even stayed late to make sure we were able to finish the paper work. The only hitch (a minor one) was when the paper plates were expiring the new permanent plates hadn't come in yet but when I called them they apologized and said they would get us another set of temp plates to print which they emailed immediately and make sure that the permanent plates came soon. The permanent plates arrived shortly after with a hand written note from the owner saying sorry for the inconvenience and they even through in some money for me and my wife to grab lunch on them. I was super happy with the gesture. Overall the car runs great. I have been driving it a lot as me and my wife love to travel. I even completed a 6 week Roadtrip from Texas to Connecticut to see family and friends all along the way. After going through the process of purchasing a car here, I have to give a low rating to this dealership -- here are the exact reasons why. Overall, my experience here was not enjoyable. It felt like there were gaps in communication, I often felt like a leftover customer that the dealership had to deal with, and I never felt like the dealership wanted to go beyond the minimum; it usually felt like a "What's in it for us?" situation. Hours long waits for text responses (sometimes days), typically poor follow-through on calling back or getting back to me quickly (Unless it was for payment, then they were swift about messaging me), text messaging with the rep was not professional -- it felt lethargic and casual -- and, at the end of the purchasing process, I felt more like a fast-food customer and not a valued customer who paid 100% cash for a vehicle. I particularly saw a lot of inflexibility with smaller requests. Two items worth mentioning: 1) The car I had purchased had been smoked in heavily and one of my requests upon purchasing was to eliminate the smoke smell. The rep/dealership's offer to this issue was to simply leave the windows down. This might not seem like a big issue to some, but to me it sends a bigger message. It says "We'll do the bare minimum". In response to my request, there was never a "Hey, we'll get the interior washed and detailed so that the smoke is 100% gone when you pick it up", or "We're going to wash the seats and do all we can to get rid of the odor." There never was an offer to take an extra step to accomodate this simple request for a full-cash paying customer, it was a bare minimum offer. (I washed the interior myself and the smoke smell was 100% gone afterwards ... They couldn't have offered that?) 2) One of my additional requests was to fix a cracked screen on the display monitor and they agreed to fix the screen, but it suddenly became complicated because the replacement part would take several weeks to arrive and I didn't have time for that, I needed the car soon. I ended up caving and saying I'll fix it and that was that. I wish they had said, "Hey, we'll still fix the screen for you because we know you requested that, but we don't have the part yet. Just bring it back in a few weeks and we'll knock that out for you." That would have really pleased a customer to read that. So, several inflexibilities and seemingly slow timing made the experience not so great. The tags came in a month and a half late (which, to the dealerships credit, that's likely not their fault), communication was lackadaisical, and the philosophy seems, just from my experience, to lean towards convenience vs. meaningfulness. So, that was my experience at Addison Autoplex. I know others might have different experiences, but I can't in good faith recommend this used car dealership to anyone at this point. I know the dealership might respond to this comment with an apology that my experience was poor, however this does not aid, justify, or resolve the experience being what it was. I say look for used cars elsewhere. UPDATE: The manager called me after I left my Google review and, in the conversation, he assured me that "[My] concerns are important" and that "[Addison Autoplex] takes your experience seriously" and he asked what they could do to make it up to me. Even in his response to my Google comment, he said, "I'm pretty confident I can improve your overall experience and regain your faith in our organization." In our post-review phone call, I kindly asked for problem #2 in my original review to be addressed, and for them to simply fix a cracked screen. He said they would look for a replacement part quickly and very clearly gave me the impression that they would fix it. It's been 3+ months and I haven't heard a word from them. At the very least, the team at Addison Autoplex could have said, "We're not actually going to fix that screen for you", but they decided to taking the ghosting route. Totally unprofessional. DO NOT BUY FROM ADDISON AUTOPLEX! This dealership is completely dishonest and sold me a lemon. Back in August 2023, I bought a car from them after they assured me their mechanic had inspected it and found no major issues. They even claimed the brakes were just replaced--which was a lie. Within a week, I had to start adding oil, and by the third week, I took it to a Cadillac dealership, where I was hit with a $10,000 repair estimate, including brakes that were in dangerous condition. To make it worse, the warranty I bought from Addison Autoplex for $3,000 was completely useless--it didn't cover anything because the issues were considered pre-existing conditions. I contacted Addison Autoplex, and they agreed to take the car back for repairs. What followed was six months of excuses and delays from their employee, Mario: "Waiting for owner approval" "Out of town every weekend" "Got into an accident" "Had COVID" After all this, they swapped my engine for a used one from a 2017 Cadillac with 50K miles, and the car still isn't fixed! It stalls at every stop, has Stabilitrak issues, a broken A/C, and won't pass inspection, which means I can't even renew the registration. On top of that, they racked up $220 in toll bills in my name, which have now gone to collections, and I lost out on a better loan refinance deal because this car is undriveable. I've had to rent cars just to get to work and care for my mother, all while paying $1,000/month for a car I can barely use. This place is a scam. Car has been nothing but problem after problem first 2 months owning it , only driving it from work and back the motor went out . We Replaced it . 6 months ago I got into a car accident was not my fault at all . The Car that caused the collision took off . We ended up buying it the car back cause it was considered as total loss even with full coverage just to find out where they hit me on my quater panel had all been bonded up and repainted . We are just now getting the gap insurance check TODAY!!! (September 20th) that was supposed to be $3000 but instead, we're getting $2300. Not only did they sell us a LEMON, but we were short on the refund check and received it after 90+ days. This dealership does not care about you. They are just trying to sell you a car, after they sell you a car trust me they will not give a fuck about you. They won't answer your calls and if they do, they will lie and say that they'll calling you back and you won't hear from them until you reach back out and harass them. This dealership is by far the worst Dealership they have the worst customer service the people in the office answer the phones are extremely rude and extremely short with you and aren't empathetic about anyone. I don't know how they have a four star rating on Google, but it's a damn lie and I'm telling you please BEWARE!!! If I could drag people out of walking into that dealership I would. This decision affected me and my whole family. Had issues every single month.. Bought the car we wanted, the washer fluid warning light was on, the oil needed to be changed, barely any gas. At the time we did not mind, we were fine doing all of that. (turns out the washer fluid sensor is broken and the oil warning did not go away when we took it to be changed) 5 days after we bought our 2017 Infiniti the engine seized. They tried to take NO responsibility, and tried to blame it on the people who changed our oil, long story. Wouldn't even tow it to a mechanic for me when it was on the side of a highway, I had to find someone to tow it for me. This place said said "our hands are tied" After they told us "It's out of our hands. It's your car once it is off the lot" we fought it, and asked to return the car or get another one. They said they would not let us return the car. They ended up replacing our engine instead, which we were thankful for It took them about 3-4 weeks to get the engine in, no problem. But we didn't have a car in the meantime. Got the car back, and that same month we had a couple of issues, then the next month we had a couple of issues, then the next month we had a couple of issues, then the next month we had more! How much in repairs? FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS IN REPAIRS THE FIRST 5 MONTHS, and that is with the engine ALREADY replaced, if they did not help, we would have been stuck with $28,000 in repairs. But again, thankfully the engine was taken care of. We took care of some of the repairs because we knew buying a used car came with some repairs needed. But this much? I would have never bought it. Fast forward to today, we need new MAF sensors, estimated cost is 2k.. We are tired of these constant repairs and our money being drained. I spoke with the owner to see what they could do and expressed our struggle. Ended up even breaking down crying on the phone. She said something along the lines of "We already helped you once, we lost money too when we helped you. Once you buy a car it's your responsibility, you have already had it for a couple of months" (as if I walked in EXPECTING to buy a car with issues and as if it is on us...) ** at the end of the day. I genuinely wish I could go back in time and listen to the people who wrote negative reviews. I know for a fact this car won't last me more than 2 years without costing me my entire savings. Addison Autoplex fail Xavier Miguel Luis Micheal Vu Trying to get extra key for 3 months ... You may think, well of course I'm going to want/need two keys for my new vehicle. Crazy? So I have tried to have certain amount of understanding and patience in receiving second key/fob. Have run out of patience, and zero understanding with the (team?) at Addison Autoplex. I've found myself and my wife on several occasions trying to explain why we still only have 1 key/fob. Specifically to friends and family.. I can only imagine that my spare key/fob is not important to the (team?) at Addison Autoplex. I've once again phoned, 3 months later, after traveling to the dealership from Benbrook to Addison several times, and again told "someone will call you back" with another ridiculous excuse why I have not been sent a spare key. Of course I'm doing best possible to keep this from becoming a big issue for my family (ie. key is lost or stolen and my wife is unable to use her truck!). Bad news. Made contact 5-14 had my brother test drive 5-15 vehicle in excellent shape. Did not leave deposit (told it was non refundable) because loan was not secured. Called back Monday and emailed Pre-approval documents from Lender (no mention of a deposit still being required). There were multiple phone calls / emails / text as all parties worked diligently to close the deal. 5-19 around 2pm the correct Purchase Order was in the hands of the Lender / Loan Docs were signed by myself and the CHECK MAILED OUT 5-19 to the Dealership. Emails were sent by Lender asking to make contact if anything else was needed, no response. Explained I would fly out the 21st and pick up on the 22nd to drive back to Louisiana. Asked about purchasing an extra key - response was will check on it in the morning. Get a text on 5-20 @ 12.30 from Mo to call him. The first time I traded my 4 door Jeep Wrangler in for a 2 door Jeep Wrangler. Today, I bought a super cute 2012 red convertible FIAT 500 for an incredible price! The best part about it is the supreme customer service that Nasouh provides. Both times I went this week he or his associate were waiting outside to greet me. So very personable! He had the paperwork ready to go and even welcomed my pup to come in. I can't say enough about how incredibly different the experience is from other car dealerships. Buyers beware!!! I purchased a 2016 Infiniti SUV from this dealership. In the beginning things went smoothly and communication as well, when I arrived to purchase/inspect vehicle there was a little bit more cosmetic damage than I was informed about originally. However the SUV was exactly what I was looking for So I decided to proceed. However in the ad it was specifically stated that the vehicle included certain items and when I arrived to inspect the vehicle these items were not with the vehicle. The salesman I was dealing with made the agreement with me in writ and in text that they would supply these items if I were to purchase a vehicle. At that point I agreed to the terms and proceeded with the purchase, however sadly immediately following the purchase the items were never supplied. The salesman assured me that they would be after a few text messages. However after nothing happened all communication was cut off completely. I have purchased many vehicles both from private party and dealerships and I have never had a dealership not follow through with their word when the terms were in writing and a signed contract, this is a major major red flag for purchasing a vehicle and I will not be purchasing another vehicle from the dealership because of the situation. read more

I walked in to this dealership wanting to look at a specific car. It was a little more than I wanted to pay, but I found one I liked and got to know the salesman in the process. Mehdi knew I was a single mom. Mehdi knew I was teacher. Mehdi knew that I needed a car after mine was totaled. And Mehdi STILL completely screwed me over. That "bumper to bumper warranty" that he sold me has covered NOTHING. I paid $4500 for a warranty that means nothing. That was supposed to be "the best of the best." Since driving out of the dealership only a few months ago, I have had the car in the shop at least 4 times. Three days after I bought my car, the side mirror FELL OFF. Run from this dealership! I encountered the exact same horrible treatment just like many previous potential buyers from this dealership! The people at this dealership are not truthful. They are all very dishonest and deceitful. They had a car listed on the cargurus.com website at $20,595 that I was interested in purchasing. I called and the car was available. I even texted and we even agreed on a price! I drove up during my lunch break to test drive the car...but interestingly, the car was not available for a test drive...per the salesman because it was in the shop. They said it would be ready tomorrow and gave this same excuse for the next couple of days until I found out the horrible truth that they had increased the price to this exact same car on the same website $4000 more and funny enough that this car IS AVAILABLE for a test drive and is available for purchase at $24,595 to a friend of mine that called! Such Awful business! Did more research and turns out that this is the normal practice here at this dealership: terrible customer service along with roping people to pay an additional thousands of dollars more to on top of the internet price during the finalization of their paperwork process.
