Didn't end up buying a car from them. Steve is not good about returning phone calls, or texting back. Makes promises and doesn't keep them. Every time we talked it felt rushed and like I was making someone talk to me who didn't want to. Don't get me wrong, he was nice. But it seemed like he didn't want my business. I called on a Monday wanting to get the ball rolling on trading in a car for a used Tesla. Steve didn't seem to want to really work on a deal. He wanted me to look into financing on my own without first discussing what he was able to do. Wanted to offer me a really low number for my trade, way lower than KBB or what Carmax offered me. I live over 5 hours away and was going to drive there to make a deal, and they refused to give me a sight unseen number for my trade, and kind of made me feel like my trade wasn't wanted. Told me that no used cars come with more then one key. Maybe it would have worked out if I went up there in person, but whatever. I bought one directly from Tesla instead. Auto Centrix policy is the don't accept bank drafts. Steve is quick to explain many dealerships don't accept bank drafts in an effort to force you to use in house lending. No big deal, unless you bank provides better rates then theirs. Which is my case. Steve likely mentioned this when we originally contemplated working with him. This was the second car I have purchased from Auto Centrix. A while ago I had told Travis that my wife was thinking about a minivan and he mentioned that, when ready, he would help me find one by searching the national auctions. Well, we were finally serious about getting a new car at the start of 2018. I told Travis and Steve the specific year and model I wanted, the color preference, the features and the maximum miles I wanted on the car. Low and behold, after just a couple of weeks he found us a perfect match. Beyond disappointed! What originally seemed to be a trustworthy transaction... became a bit of a nightmare... that, thankfully didn't end in extreme tragedy. After months of online shopping, AutoCentrix definitely offered the most car for the price. Safety features being of upmost priority. Steve was a pleasure to work with. He assured us that, although they don't offer any guarantees, their numerous 5 star reviews would certainly give peace of mind. He raved about their multi point checks and inspections, how the associates take each car home a few days to ensure the quality, and their extended bumper to bumper warranty would cover anything you can imagine. So, We purchased the car with warranty and had it shipped. First inconvenience... we were never told the $500 for shipping included a wait period until our new vehicle could 'catch a ride' with a truck already heading to South Texas. We endured close to a month without a vehicle or any updates from the company. Once the sale was complete, any further information was on us to follow up on. The almost tragic nightmare: After a couple of weeks thoroughly enjoying our new vehicle around town and on a holiday trip, the car began to make an undeniably loud noise. It was a rattling noise that caused great concern. We determined it must be something with the wheel, so the next morning we planned to take it to Discoumt Tire for an assessment. On the 1 mile drive the car was rattling so loud that we were only able to drive 20 miles an hour. Just outside of the turn into the tire shop, with a baby in the backseat, the car slammed into the ground as the front driver wheel shot across the road into a ditch, causing great body damage to the vehicle. It was terrifying! I shudder to think of how many far worse ways this could have ended up.. 70 mph on the highway? Multiple vehicle accidents/injuries? Thankfully, nothing but feelings of safety and security were hurt. The police and witnesses all agreed that it has to have been improper placement of the tire. The vehicle that we have only had for a few weeks..! That had not been touched by any kind of mechanic since we purchased the car..! Thank goodness for the cover all warranty!... time to call Steve and get this body damage repaired. Because, who else's fault could it be!? (Oh... and it would soon be discovered that a lug nut was missing on a different tire!) Safety features were no match for human error. At first, Steve showed great concern and care to try and help, but that faded quickly. Obviously tires and body damage aren't coverd by warranties, and there really is no way to tell that our vehicle wasn't tampered with, but.. they offered to pay our insurance deductible. Umm... why would they offer that if they didn't feel responsible? Then Steve stopped returning calls and dodged inquiries from the insurance company. In short, and beyond the emotional distress and headache of dealing, it cost us an insurance claim with deductible... damage totalling over $5,000, with more than 2 weeks repair time. This was such a horrible experience. AutoCentrix attempted to put a bandaid on a gaping wound and sought only to cover their own assess. It was handled with such unprofessionalism, lack of customer care, but mostly lack of accountability. There is absolutely no doubt in our minds, or anyone else's involved with the repairs, that this was negligence on the part of AutoCentrix. We may have lost here, but at least I can try to warn others of the potential dangers facing them if they purchase a vehicle from this company. read more

In addition to thoughtfully answering all of my emails, Travis created an 11 minute video walking through all the features of the car. The video not only offered praise, but he pointed out all the imperfections of the car--something I think most dealers would try to hide. Travis pointed them all out in the video and stated they would fix certain things and submit other things to Tesla for warranty repairs prior to any sale. He was open and upfront about everything. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Travis Robinson at Auto Centrix. He sold me a 2014 Lexus GS350 Fsport on May 20 2017 with severe/hidden damage. He provided a fake/manipulated car fax. I now have the actual car fax and it shows that the damage was there. He knew it all along. I was lucky to get into a fender bender within 2 weeks of purchase and the body shop found that there had been serious damage to the front end and was fixed just enough that it couldn't be seen on the exterior. I have a letter from Park Place body works in Dallas that the damage was severe and that the airbags were compromised. He's selling unsafe cars to people! I made him buy the Lexus back from me and I have now learned that he resold it yet again without properly fixing the previous damage. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. read more

I recently bought a used 2015 Lexus ES 350 from Auto Centrix. I'm out of state (MO) and therefore had to rely on the salesperson in making a purchasing decision. The car had 4,000 miles on it and was reportedly in pristine condition. Based on those representations, I bought the car. The car arrived in MO, and much to my surprise had door dings, numerous body imperfections, fender gouges and now I'm learning a paint job that is not factory paint. The after market paint job was horrible and is chipping off at a record rate. The car is black, but now has a salt and pepper grill/hood appearance. It looks horrible, and Auto Centrix won't provide me any info or records about this car. I don't know who painted it so poorly or why it needed new paint at only 4,000 miles. Auto Centrix tells me they purchased the vehicle at auction but that they have no idea about the paint or it's condition at time of purchase (i.e. no "condition report"). They are trying to avoid responsibility by saying that my current Lexus dealer must be lying to me about the poor paint job just to get my business (please!!). I'm beyond disappointed with "Steve" the office manager who always promises to call me back with info and never does. They require you to chase them down, and then when you do, you will get the same song and dance. Super frustrating. He hung up on me during our last call. So unprofessional. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT BUY A CAR ONLINE FROM AUTOCENTRIX WITHOUT FIRST SEEING IT IN PERSON AND HAVING IT INSPECTED. read more
