We had a good experience here working with Josh. Good prices and big selection. No pressure tactics and no haggling. I will say CarMax gave us a better price on the trade in by a good amount.

I found a Tesla Model X I was interested in through the Autotrader App. Mike Bell and Travis at Auto Centrix answered all my questions and we quickly came to a Deal on M the car which was the exact car I was looking for. They had the car loaded and sent to me within two weeks. Great company to work with and provided me a remarkable new to me used Tesla Model X. Highly recommend this company, especially if buying a vehicle on the internet without actually getting to be hands on before purchase.

Super happy with Auto Centrix! Caleb was my sales guy and has been great... even a month after I bought my model S. Long story short, I think I bought my Model S RIGHT after they got it (I'm sure they flip them very quickly). It had an issue that prevented autopilot from working. I took it back to them a couple of days after buying it and pointed out the issue, they were not able to repair it there but had me take it to the Tesla dealership and covered the cost/ reimbursed me without any issue at all. Great service! I looked at 2 other "Tesla" dealers in the area. Otto Source had a car I liked but it was beat up when I saw it in person. And "the other guys" in the area just couldn't compete with Auto Centrix prices. Lastly... holy crap did I get a good interest rate! I used Mobility Credit Union (their lender) and was pleasantly surprised. PS: everyone that saw my 2015 Model S thought I bought it brand new. They did such a great job detailing inside and out. I'll be back!

I had been looking for a Tesla for a little while all throughout the state of Texas and found Auto Centrix to not only have the best inventory, but also the best quality cars. I knew as soon as I test drove this Model S, it was the one for me. I love the car and how well it handles and drives. I opted for the after market white seat covers which adds a super modern look that looks practically OEM. The team at AC did a great job putting the covers in and I would recommend anyone with a Tesla to do the same.

I had THE BEST experience with this dealership. The entire staff (specifically David and Katherine) was always (and still is) so very helpful. I was new to the Tesla family and they were not just patient, but genuinely eager to teach and share all their wisdom with me. I can not say enough about how easy they were to work with. They were also extremely honest and up-front about a few things that came up with my Tesla. They were willing to take the car back if I was in any way uncomfortable with the software issues I was having. It's been over a month and the staff still enthusiastically responds to my messages. If I ever buy another Tesla, I will FOR SURE seek them out.

I Purchased my Model X from Steve last week. What GREAT SERVICE! Always willing to help and go the extra mile to help with questions. This was my first Tesla purchase so I had many. I also required a different adaptor he was quick to make sure I had what I required. I highly recommend you check out Auto Centrix, they have GREAT DEALS on Teslas and can hook you up with great extended warranty for extra peace of mind. Thank you Steve!

I purchased a Ford F250 from TexasCarsDirect back in September. I flew in from Chicago to pick up…read morethe truck. Upon arriving and meeting with David Urby, I took the truck for a test drive. There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

Auto Express - Bad response

Auto Express

(70 reviews)

We purchased a car from Auto Express two months ago, and it has been a nightmare ever since…read more Shortly after the purchase, we began having issues and decided to get a professional opinion. After taking it to three independent mechanics, we were told the car requires over $10,000 in repairs--and more importantly, that it's dangerous to drive in its current condition. If my son and his family were going at a high rate of speed at the time it broke, it could have caused an accident. All three mechanics said the vehicle was a danger to be on the road. When we brought this to the dealership's attention, their response was that we could have had the car inspected if we had asked. We were under the impression that they had a mechanic on-site, given the size of their lot and number of vehicles. This lack of transparency was disappointing and misleading. We have since learned that Auto Express often sources their vehicles from up north and coastal regions, where cars are commonly exposed to severe rust and deterioration. This was never disclosed to us during the sales process. We feel completely taken advantage of. If you're considering buying from Auto Express, have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before signing anything, and ask where the car originally came from. We wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

They are very straight…read moreforward that they don't care what's wrong with the car, it's your job to evaluate it and decide if it's right for you. They aren't doing anything shady at all, but they did have a whole lot of very worn cars I would be afraid of. The unit I went to look at wasn't ready to show as far as I'm concerned. It had a leaking donut gasket in the exhaust, the cowl vents full of dirt and grass, and the console lid inside the car had been shredded. I didn't even ask them to get it out of the garage where I could drive it. I was looking at a big Buick, but they also had a super-clean Chevrolet Impala with a few more miles on it, but the car was in well-cared-for condition. I asked them to get that one out and we took it for a test drive and found nothing wrong with it but a "service air bag" light on, which we were willing to deal with. The suspension was still tight, the interior in blemish-free condition, a minor blemish on the rear plastic bumper cover, and the engine compartment clean. The motor was absolutely quiet, and running well, and so I left with a slightly younger Chevrolet than the Buick I thought I was interested in. Buyer beware on some of the units on this lot, but they are not misrepresenting them. It's the buyers responsibility to decide if a unit is right for them, and I'd encourage anyone to check carefully. They had some certified junk on the lot, but had some equally clean units in good condition. It all depends on what you want to pay, and how much car you expect to get for your money. Nothing about this transaction appeared to be shady, or in any way intended to misrepresent what they have to sell. They were courteous, kind, and professional in all parts of this transaction. I particularly like that they didn't even offer me an extended warranty, or try to add other charges into the transaction, such as dealer preparation, which I view to be taking advantage of the ignorant. It was cash-and-carry, and if it breaks they buyer gets both pieces. I've had the car in service for a week now, and I have discovered a minor transmission leak. At age 13 with 120,000 miles on it that's a little deal to me, and I'm satisfied with what I paid.

CONSUMERS BEWARE! PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY ANNOUNCEMENT:…read more We weren't coerced or bribed with things of value to write a positive business review of Auto Merchants Inc. This is an authentic business review of our interactions with the owner/Sid S. and his employee/Octavio C. over the previous 900 days, as it relates to the owner's grossly past due insufficient funds check. NOT REWARDING DISHONORABLE CONDUCT: It's more important than ever for a consumer to do their due diligence in sufficiently investigating the individual or business they are considering investing their hard earned money with, and only reward individuals and businesses that operate ethically, legally and constitutionally at all times. This objective, to the best of our knowledge and recollection of facts and/or opinion based business review will assist in that mission, as it relates to Auto Merchants, Inc., for the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior! INTRODUCTION: An insufficient funds check is a serious civil and criminal offense that is actionable under Texas Business and Commerce Code 3.302 (holder in due course) and Texas Penal Code - Chapter 31 -Offenses Against Property (THEFT). This legal and constitutional protected business review is designed to kindly compel Auto Merchants, Inc. to comply with Texas law, and the fiduciary responsibility of their company established by the Secretary of State, and immediately resolve the balance of their grossly past due insufficient funds check on file at Lee's Check Cashing without further subterfuge and/or obfuscation and/or delay. 1. Check date: 5-2-23, check # 5980, amount: 3000.00. Receiver of funds: Octavio C. Total balance due NOW: 1500.00 + 900.00 (reoccurring administrative resolution fees) = 2400.00. FACTS OF CASE AND CONDITIONS OF THE LAW: On 5-2-23, Auto Merchants, Inc. issued a check to an employee/Octavio C. for duties/services performed. The employee cashed the check at Lee's Check Cashing, and the check was returned to the check cashing establishment due to insufficient funds, because the check issuer intentionally stopped payment on the check within hours of issuing the check. Subsequently, over the next 150 plus days, the owner of the check cashing establishment contacted Auto Merchants Inc. and/or the receiver of funds in order to compel them to comply with the aforementioned Texas check laws and resolve the grossly past due insufficient funds check. Due to the refusal and/or failure of Auto Merchants, Inc. to comply with Texas check laws, their unpaid check was delegated to the authority of the Loss Prevention Department to facilitate immediate resolution. The owner alleged (without proof) his account was 'hacked," as the justification why he stopped payment on his check. He alleged the employee was given a 3000.00 dollar replacement check and snapped; "you better check our records!" If true, he did so without using basic business common sense, in first verifying the legal holder in due course of his returned check, and if the employee deposited the initial check into his bank account or cashed the check at a check cashing establishment. The employee was interviewed to verify the owner's claim. The employee alleged he was confused and thought the 3000.00 dollars was his, since the check was written in his name. The investigator helped him realize how preposterous his claim was received, so he confessed to intentionally embezzling the 3000.00 dollars in funds that were legally required to resolve the insufficient funds at our check cashing establishment. The owner was informed multiple times in writing and text, if he paid the employee to resolve his insufficient funds check, and he refused and/or failed to resolve the check with the legal holder in due course, his check is legally unpaid, and he is legally required to immediately resolve his check at our check cashing establishment, and he may file embezzlement charges against his employee for the alleged theft of his 3000.00 dollars if he refused and/or failed to return the funds he allegedly stole from him. The owner defiantly and irresponsibly refused and/or failed to comply with Texas check laws, and instead offered to pay 300.00 dollars every two weeks until paid in full, lending to the reasonable speculation the real reason he stopped payment on his check is not because his account was "hacked," but because of poor money management and/or lack of sales revenue due to poor, substandard business practices. At the point the owner's unpaid check was approximately 250 days past due Texas law, he finally made one measly 300.00 dollar payment on 1-24-24, and subsequently four more 300.00 dollar payments on 2-8-24, 3-6-24, 4-3-24, 5-8-24 and abruptly stopped without the consent of the victim, leaving a balance of 1500.00 dollars for over 575 days; in the process ignoring two certified letters, and over 100 text and phone calls to compel him to resolve the balance.
