I usually don't leave reviews, but the experience at eCarOne definitely changed how I viewed buying a car. After a bit of hunting around last April, I found a listing on eCarOne's website for a 2022 Model S Palladium, fully loaded with lifetime FSD, as well as a very rare build spec. I decided to give them a shot, and was definitely not left disappointed. I can honestly say this was one of the easiest car-buying experiences I've had, especially making the switch from a Yukon Denali over to a Model S (very uncommon, no?). eCarOne guaranteed to match the trade-in offer of CarMax BEFORE they appraised my trade-in, and furthermore completely matched CarMax's offer (a very generous one, by the way) with no questions asked. The sales department, and my sales representative, Adam, were fantastic to work with from start to finish--professional, completely straightforward, and negotiable. As always, there may be some add-ons, but after some negotiations, eCarOne willingly lowered their non-haggle price just to ensure a smooth and easy sale! (Plus they gave a few extra add-ons included with the price!) Where eCarOne's experience really started to shine, though, was after purchasing. Most places usually leave you with whatever problems the car has. eCarOne did the exact opposite: I noticed the 3rd brake light had started to go out, amidst a couple of other minor issues. eCarOne fully covered the cost of my repairs AFTER I had purchased the vehicle, a bill of $2.4k if I had paid out of pocket. Furthermore, any inconveniences caused by this repair were also covered by their team. I am beyond astonished and impressed at this level of customer service. A few months later and the car is absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a dealership that actually respects your time and their customers, I highly recommend and urge you to look at eCarOne, the sales department, and most importantly Adam and the manager, Michael, for standing behind their cars to the fullest extent. I am from out of state and contacted them to purchase a very specific vehicle. Was engaged immediately and worked with a sales person named Paul. I made an appointment and arranged to fly in to see the vehicle a few days later (the night before the appointment). I was just about to leave the hotel I stayed at for the appointment when I received a text from Paul (note, no call) stating that the vehicle had been sold the day before. When I asked why I had not been informed yesterday, I was told that the transaction had been late in the day. I was more polite than I was feeling and stated that is why people despise used car sale people and the next time someone ghosts him, consider what eCarOne had done to me. A few minutes later, eCarOne spammed me with other vehicles that they were trying to sell. That put me over the edge and I replied to it telling them what they could do with those cars, unsubscribed and left similar feedback on those comments. The "sales manager" called me later that day (went to VM). After some phone tag, we talked. No apology, just the same story. Again, I was more polite than I felt. A week past and I received ANOTHER spam email yesterday. I am done being polite and again, told them what they could do with themselves. Now, this morning, I find myself mysteriously subscribed to a number of used car dealerships with the same phone number (google number) and email (throw away account) that I used with eCarOne. Interesting coincidence? Unlikely. I cannot encourage you enough to not do business with these people. Sales people did well and seemed to car. When it came time to try and purchase, they are relentless with the $2,000 add ons that are NOT included in the advertised price. They will try and say it is not an added cost, but added value for Permaplate, tint, GPS, etc. Let the client decide if they want those included, frankly, we didn't like how dark they made the back windows on the vehicle, but they wanted $995 for it added to the price. And permaplate??? I have my own products I use to protect interior and exterior. Buyer beware, any price you see, add $2,000, plus all the other document, registration, title fees along with the taxes of course. I tried to be reasonable and made a fair offer accommodating a portion of their added charges, but ultimately we were $682 off, they didn't budget and neither did I, so we walked. Was thinking about becoming an out of state customer because this place seems to stock quite a few used Rivians. I'm glad I read reviews. It seems this dealership USED to force charge extra $2k-3k worth of add-ons such as warranty and tint and coatings and other things that could not be refused. I then read a comment by the dealership that they are turning a new leaf and including those things in the up front price. Man, talk about not getting it. It isn't the up front or after price that matters, it is the forced upgrades to begin with. Most people don't want that. Provide a way to opt out of these things and not pay them at all and I may consider buying with you from out of state. Otherwise that's a hard no to a dealership who seems to be clueless at best, and bordering on dishonest at worst. Even with the price disclosed up front, these things should not be force included even if disclosed, that is what makes it borderline dishonest. If they confirm this policy has changed, will be happy to change the review score. But honestly, their huge disclaimer on the online listings kind of indicates you are being set up to be screwed and then pretend like "hey, we warned you" and that is what made me check the yelp reviews in the first place. They did try to sell many different warranties for the car, tires, etc... At first I agreed to buy extended warranty but then I saw very low ratings on the warranty company. I asked them to remove the warranty. I have to say they were very nice and did not push hard for me to keep it. Thank you for a pleasurable and easy purchasing process. They do add a $2000 in paint and dent repair protection for every car sold. I asked them up front if they had two keys and they showed them to me right away. I've never been compelled to write a negative yelp review, but I want others to know you're dealing with a slightly shady dealership. I bought a 2024 Land Rover Defender for $94,950. I got the car delivered and there was only one key. I called my salesperson, Jared, and asked where the 2nd key was. He said "there isn't one." I said you can't sell a $95K car and not include a 2nd key. He replied that it was disclosed on p.62 of the internet listing. I bought this car remotely and asked them numerous times if there was anything wrong with the car, missing parts, damage, or mechanical issues. I was always told it was perfect. They required an in-person visit, and I sent my son who lives in Dallas. He checked the car out and never once did they say, "hey, fyi there is only one key." I assumed it was a misunderstanding and that they would give me a 2nd key. He assured me it was not, and that I would not be getting a 2nd key. I then called the manager "TL" and he told me that they would not make it right and that the picture on p.62 was adequate disclosure and that they would not be furnishing a 2nd key. I gave him one last chance before writing this review (my only recourse) and he said I "should enjoy the car but they would not provide a 2nd key at their expense." Good car, but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm reminded why used car dealers have the reputation they do. Ha- final thing was the car arrived and the gas gauge was on "E". I have 0 experience with electric cars. In talking with the staff they recognized me for a car nerd and paired me with Jared Otte who I recommend to anyone who wants more technical salesman. Very knowledgeable and 0 pressure. I had the opportunity to drive an Mercedes EQE and a Porsche Taycan 4s - two very different cars. Both are of a higher build quality than the Teslas I have test driven. After driving them its easy to see EVs as having solid place in transportation considerations. I am now examining what I need to do for my home to have a home charger as I think that is the only way to go with an EV. The dealership does add on extras. One is a GPS guard. It tracks the car's movement. Good for letting people take test drives and know where the car is. After that could be good in case the car gets joy-ridden, but you might not want your information sold via the tracker of where you go. Like a cell phone contract - plus and minus of knowing where you are. Your phone maybe tracking you anyway unless you have location off. But if you turn it off and misplace your phone - the best you can do is have the phone ring to find it (I have done that). Note the GPS device is installed on many new vehicles - not just evs and not just from a particular dealership. Ford patented having ads pop up in the car based on location - I don't know if that has been implemented yet. But its sort of like social media. You sign a contract to give up your information to use the site. Ultimately - do your research on any purchase and that way both parties will understand all the terms. I didn't ask if that option could be removed even if its a required part of the purchase price. Like the purchase of the vehicle, and everything else in our new high tech world, everything has to be evaluated for its pros/cons. My experience with the dealership was a good one and they have a huge variety of cars. The cars I drove were in like new condition and everything they had on the lot was in like new condition. They have some of the highest Dealer Handling and add a $2,000 for a warranty you won't ever use since it doesn't cover things that wear. Do you want to save money and pass on this "option" because it's a ripoff? TO BAD! READ!! If you read reviews read this one first. I recently got rid of my 2024 BMW X5 M60i after having 3 plus active recalls on my car. (VIN 5UX33EU03R9U36358) I was able to get out of the car Thank GOD!! BMW sold my car to auction without repairing the last recall repair because they were not able to get the parts which would take months to receive. I was able to track my car via the app after I got rid of it because I was still logged into its computer system. BUYER BEWARE!! I have service records and information about this car. I was so glad to get rid of it. I owned this X5 for a year and a half and about 6 months of that time the car sat at the dealership waiting to be fixed by BMW who didn't know any timeframes because they were struggling to get parts. The first recall happened with the parking brake, then the next issue the steering column had to be replaced, and then the latest issue didn't get repaired. BMW sold the car to auction with an airbag malfunction that causes the horn to blow uncontrollably to the point where it will not stop even while driving. I will admit the car was great when it was working properly but all of these issues happened while I was driving putting me and my family in danger. Be careful when you buy a used car especially one that has a history of defects and malfunctions. Just want to make anyone aware especially when a dealership will sell a vehicle with known issues. I was looking at a 2024 Hyundai Ionic 6 they had listed. The price looked good and I looked at the reviews and saw complaints about $2000 add-ons. I thought those were on cheaper cars, but they are put on every single car. There is $995 for some kind of perma coat for seats, and $995 for a one year GPS tracking program. Both mandatory- the customer does not have an option. I find this practice terrible because I don't need either one of those and they really don't do me a lot of good. However, IF you buy a car from them you are forced to take it. This is just another way for them to pad their profit. I would rather see a higher price car listed with no add-ons than mandatory add-ons which any intelligent person knows is a dealer's game. I told them this and they just said they understood. OK, that's why you're getting a 1 star rating. Here's the thing: Your ratings are marginal (3.1 / 5.0) . Barely recommendable. Your business plan is NOT WORKING. I'd rethink it and change. As others have stated, keep in mind that they will not remove the GPS fee as well as the permaplate. For me, this was not a deal breaker, but it does suck that permaplate will not cover issues with the car as it comes from the dealer (it only covers the issues that you, as an individual, create). I'm giving this place two stars. I spoke to a salesman two previous times before arriving onsite and still managed to get the salesman I was emailing with. Nevertheless, we didn't get anywhere via email nor did we get anywhere onsite. They have a vehicle prep fee in their terms and conditions and this is not legal. After bringing it up to their attention, they still told me this was mandatory. It is not mandatory by state law. I will post a photo of what is legal. Not happy, they agree to refund the deposit and the fee I paid for inspection. Deposit comes right away. 5th surprise no fee refund after more than 30 days. Lawsuit over $266.23? We were *this* close to buying a car from eCarOne as a cash purchase. After we test drove the car, we told our salesperson it would be a cash purchase (via wire transfer or cashier's check). We wanted to go get our bank/transfer info and get it added to our insurance, so we left the dealership with the salesperson knowing this info. He said it would be a "first come, first serve" situation so if someone showed up after we left and wanted to buy (read: finance) the car, we'd be out of luck. Didn't indicate that he'd give us a heads up or anything. Not a great feeling, but ok. We left and started our bank processing. It was the end of the day, so the next morning, we called to make sure the car was still there and get the bottom line price for the wire transfer. It's clear from their website, etc. that they don't haggle/negotiate, which is fine. It felt like a good deal. Well, during that phone call to get the bottom line price out the door, we were informed there was a $1990 mandatory reconditioning fee that would be added. This secret add-on at the very end was enough to break it for us. You know what, we could have handled the extra $2,000, but it left a very bad taste in our mouth that it wasn't disclosed until the very end when you were on the verge of closing the deal. Oddly enough, it's Dec. 31st and many dealers are trying to get cars off the "floor" so they don't have to pay taxes on them. But for this dealership, customers are not the priority. read more

I walked in without an appointment and they could not have been ruder. They lied about many things. It is true the $2000 ghost 'add ons our mandatory. I let them know. I had my own financing yet. They will not allow you to finance your own bank. When you go to buy, they'll try and even upsell their mandatory add-ons which begs the question, what is the value of the mandatory $2000 upgrade to begin with? I was very disappointed to find out all the vehicles I was interested in were prior rental cars. They even try to sell you a tracker to prevent theft, but they're already rental cars, and they already have the trackers on them. They told me that all of their vehicles are bought from auction and acted like I was stupid when I asked about the quality of those vehicles. All of the vehicles I was looking at were rentals. When I questioned the lack of service and maintenance records based on their Carfax reports, they acted like I was crazy and stupid for asking the question. I drove 45 minutes to go for a test drive and they allowed me to go on a test drive, but said I had to be back in 10 minutes before they closed. They lied about so many things and live up to the old stereotype of sleazy used car sales people. It is quite possibly the worst car dealership experience I've had in 30 years buying cars. I'll refrain from naming names here, but there is a guy at the counter that should not even be interfacing with customers. The overall experience was bad, I was blatantly lied to and I chose to take the lump because I trusted a car salesman over the phone before driving up from Austin, trust and car salesman don't belong anywhere near each other much less in the same sentence. I have since sold my car and per the bank, I need to contact the dealer to get the gap refund initiated. I have called 4 times over three weeks and left voicemails, I have also emailed twice.
