I purchased a car from this dealership in May 2025, and I have had nonstop issues ever since. Just one week after purchase, the check engine light came on. I had to bring the car back 6-7 times before it was even somewhat fixed. Not long after, the car broke down on the highway and had to be towed to their shop. I was without a vehicle for over a week. When I finally got it back, the very next day the car was hesitating to start and warning lights were coming on again. I returned it once more, and they said they replaced a hose. Two weeks later -- the check engine light came on again. When I told Carla that I would not continue making payments until the car was properly fixed, she became upset instead of trying to help. I asked if we could work something out to get me into a different vehicle, and I was told, "This would happen to any of the cars on our lot." That response alone says everything. Today I went to the dealership just to retrieve some personal belongings from my car and saw "REPO" written on the side. This was shocking, as I personally drove the car there, it was never repossessed, and I was never notified of anything related to a repo. When I started having problems with the car I was told "this never happened," This dealership has been dishonest, unprofessional, and dismissive throughout this entire ordeal. I strongly encourage anyone considering buying a car here to think twice.Save yourself the stress, money, and safety risk, I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone read more

Horrible! Carla is rude and she will hang up in your face. luckily I had a video of the bumper not being on my son car cause they was trying to argue me down that it wasn't like that whn he purchased. the windshield wipers was bad and the air in the car was blowing warm not cold. They won't give you ur tags until u make ur first payment... note my sons car was financed not in-house. No one else can pick up the tags and they will argue you down about communication. make sure you have a paper trail...for everything. read more

First day of purchase car broke down on the way home due to transmission issues. They picked up the car and repaired the issue, but would not state what was repaired. Frequently requested maintenance records for vehicle. Received partial records referencing repairs that were not mentioned at time of sale. Further diagnosis of vehicle shows undeclared physical damage. Along with VIN number being scrubbed from the engine. Damage was also not indicated on provided CarFax. Still waiting on the remaining documents since the initial request at time of purchase. Company is not responsive to most requests. The office messed up the initial billing on the vehicle and continually contacts me regarding scheduled payments. Attempted to charge me for additional insurance , even after insurance had been provide on date of purchase. Poor communication in the office frequently results in errors. Would not recommend purchasing a car from the dealer. read more

Don't buy from this dealership. Promised the car was mechanically sound. We've had to take it to our mechanic at least three times since we purchased it in February. Specifically asked if the oil had been changed before we purchased it. Was told that everything was done that needed to be done. Oil hadn't been changed. Air conditioner cabin filter was FILTHY. Just tried to change a tire and found that the lug nut wrench doesn't fit all the lug nuts. This dealership makes the car look clean and pretty on the outside but can't say the same for the inside. read more

IF YOU VALUE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, DO NOT SPEND IT ON A CAR HERE! SIMPLY GO ELSEWHERE! THE CARS ARE JUNK! My 18 year old daughter and I spent a Saturday morning looking for a cash car during Spring Break of 2017. My daughter who saved $3000 to purchase a car to travel back and forth from Dallas to Lubbock for school was completely ripped off without one shred of cooperation or remorse from owner, Matt Oliver. We even attempted to return the car within 30 days of the purchase date after no credit union would touch the deal given to us, but there is a loop hole/fine print within the contract preventing you from being able to do so. LESS than two months into owning her car and shortly after making the first car payment, my daughter ended up stranded in the middle of nowhere on I-35 between Dallas and Austin due to a blown alternator. This was only the beginning of one expensive car repair after another, becoming a parents financial nightmare. One year after purchasing this car, the catalytic converter had to be replaced. I called Matt to inquire about helping my daughter defer the monthly payment after paying nearly $800 for repairs, his answer was NO. My daughter was also told if stop payment was placed on the monthly payment, her car would be tracked and repossessed. As a person who has purchased many cars from reputable dealerships, this was the first experience dealing with a "tote the note" car lot in order to help my daughter build and establish her own credit. It has without a doubt been one of the most disheartening and most regrettable sales transactions I've ever experienced and has set the standard on how I would never want anyone to be treated. Matt may appear nice and helpful up front, but once you lock into a very high interest, very high payment contract on a JUNK car, there is no return just simply lots of regret. I'd urge you to continue looking at dealerships elsewhere, where a company's bottom line does not trump human decency. read more

I finally brought my car in because I needed a car inspection. Matt and his excellent crew took great care of my car to find the issue so that my car could pass the inspection test. I was very satisfied with Luis when I first purchased my Jeep from The Car Network, and Matthew was nothing short of amazing while I was making my purchase. I put $1500 down and had a little beat up corolla they gave me $300 for trade in value, so $1800 all together as a down payment.... Fast forward from July to November.... $197.14 was my bi-weekly payment so that is $394.28 a month, plus their $8 per payment fee for paying the payment through the online portal. So $410.28 a month for a 14 year old car with a bonded title, bonded title meaning the original title was lost.... I had moved to Houston in the mean time of all this going on... So its going okay the first couple months then my starter was acting up, I could tell because if I cranked it over a few times it would eventually start up so I took it to a DBS (Downtown Battery Service) in Houston, they fixed me up, replaced the starter and the wires and the ignition wires as well.... Now these buy here pay here places have what's called an ignition interrupt device meaning, you no pay, you no drive.... Well, that's totally cool with me, but not when the wires almost start a fire under the dash of my vehicle, and that's why my Jeep was having starting issues, bc the ignition wires had been crossed and shorted out and as long as they weren't touching I could start the car... The mechanic I took my Jeep to in order to get the starter fixed had no idea what a tracking/ignition kill device looked like, and just saw this burnt up box with singed ignition wires coming from it, so, posing a fire hazard to the vehicle he removed it... That's a huge breach of contract, I understand that. When I found out there was something wrong with the device I reached out to the mechanic to see if he had messed with anything like that and he informed me that his head mechanic that actually worked on my Jeep had been diagnosed with Covid and was in the hospital and if he was able to speak with him about it he would. A month went by and I was late on my payments, so I paid them $710.28 ($300 over my monthly note) on October 28th and the previous month in September I paid them $700.46 ($290 over my monthly note) I knew I had missed a payment or two and so I felt like I needed to make up for it, meanwhile, Matthew and I had spoken a few times to try and schedule a weekend I could go up there so they could see what had happened with the tracking device and why it was malfunctioning. Neither one of us at this time knew that the device had been removed... Well December 2nd my car gets repossessed... This is where it gets really shady..... So my car gets repo'd down here, it sits here for 5 days waiting for a transport company to come get it and take it to Dallas... The finance manager at the Car Network sends the repo lot (Houston Direct Auto) which is a car lot so I don't know why my Jeep even went there and not to a tow yard. While in transit to the destination $1600 dollars worth of my belongings are stolen from the vehicle. - A $250 Lews fishing pole - A $300 Lews Bait cast reel - A $200 Abu Garcia bait cast reel - A brand new tackle box with $200 worth of fresh water lures - A $300 Micheal Kors jacket (which I found the belt that goes with it in the boxes of stuff they packed for me) - A pair of $150 Hunter brand rubber boots (I found the socks that were inside of them also in my things they packed up for me) - A $200 floor jack I had also put $2000 dollar rims on the vehicle, I obviously had no intention on losing this vehicle. And I am sure some other things as well... I spoke with Crystal at Houston Direct Auto and she said when it left there it she saw my fishing pole in it. Now by law within 48 hours the repo company has to send you inventory of what was in the vehicle, also I was not told where my car was when I asked where it was at so I could get my stuff out of it. Also illegal. I begged to get my vehicle back, I told them I would make extra payments, but it was a no go, they had already ripped me off for what they were going to rip me off for. Plus they got some free rims out of the deal and $1600 worth of stolen property I have been in touch with a lawyer and have filed a police report against the transport company and The Car Network. Plus their finance ladies that take payments have a real bad tendency to drop your IQ a little every time you talk to them... I've had easier conversations with my 3 year old nephew... Don't get a car from here, they don't care about you, or your situation. They pray that you miss that month payment on the vehicle so they can come get it back from you and re-sell it... Love this place and love Matt. I bought a 2009 G37 Infiniti from this dealer. Process was easy, owner was honest, and most importantly, my car runs great. The detailing and cleanup on it was phenomenal. I found out they literally take the car apart to get it as clean as possible. Those seats you'll sit in after you purchase a car from here? I got a car from here about a year ago and I've been coming back every since. The staff here is amazingly courteous and polite. There have been places I get good service, but it doesn't compare to the kind hearted people that work at this location. They are always seeking ways to help out everyone they can. I've been here several times now, from a check engine light, to just getting an oil change. The mechanic here does a wonderful job, my car always runs perfect after I leave. Unlike going to a dealership that charges you an arm and a leg, the people at this location will sit down with you and show you the part your looking for and the price that it should be. I can honestly say I'll keep coming back here. I recently had a repair shop tell me it would be almost 1000$ to get new power steering in my car, since it was starting to go bad, however I went here and talked to a gentleman named Matt. He showed me how much the part actually costs and how much the labor would be, it was under half of what the repair shop told me. If you're looking for a place to get a car and have it taken care of, this is the #1 place I'd recommend. I bought the 2008 Honda Civic LX with 112,000 miles from Carnetwork. I have had the car for around 6 months. Dealing wit Jaime Pena To buy my car. I recently had the water pump and motor mount replaced, but my car was still running hot. The guys that fixed my water pump and motor mount worked all day to fix the issue. I told them that recently I took my car to Auto Zone to have analyzed and they guy tried to check it but the analyzer kept popping back out. When I took my car to get the water pump repaired I was told that the engine light indicator was removed. When they checked my engine the head gasket was blown and 2 cylinders were blown. I was told it would cost a lot of money to fix this if the block wasn't cracked. I explained this to Mr. Pena who told me he had no idea about the problem. I trusted this car dealership and I went into this car knowing used cars need repairs. I can't tell you how very sorry I felt for going to this dealer. I have read some reviews. I should have read before I bought and paid 4000.00 for a car that now doesn't run over 16 miles an hr. I will never buyanother car from these folks again and do not recommend this dealer to anyone unless you take the car before you pay out good money to find out what your wasting your hard earned money on to find out what your paying for. read more

Update: I received an apologetic e-mail from the owner Matt and was told that my salesperson should have asked me to sign an agreement that pending inspection I would buy the vehicle and in that case I would have been allowed to take it off the lot. Unfortunately, that wasn't communicated to me. Matt offered to have me come look at the car again, but of course I have now bought a car that I am happy with. Since every other part of my experience at the dealership was pleasant, I am changing my rating to three stars. read more
