Glen my service manager was super sweet. When I first pulled up to the garage to get my oil changed a gentleman by the name of Larry greeted me and told me my consultant would be with me in just a moment. After that, I dealt with Glenn he was fabulous and then went into the Customer lounge Where everyone that walked past me greeted me with a smile and said hello good afternoon. While I was sitting in the Customer lounge, a gentleman came by and checked with everybody to see if they were OK and needed water. They're a bunch of scammers that will try everything they can to get you to come in. They run ads on Facebook with their "limited time offer voucher" which is a total scam. There is no voucher and the responses are actually from a bot, not a real person. I also received a text from someone named Clara and she told me to ask for Mike when I come in. When I got there, one person told me Mike is the internet sales director and he's not in yet. I waited for a while and then person named Warren Davis came out and said Mike's a bot that just sends automated messages on Facebook and they're not interested in buying my car. Before i went in, I texted Clara (which I was told is a real person but who knows) and also messaged through Facebook to have someone call me so I can find out more about everything before making the 45 minute drive out there and they said just look on KBB for what your car is worth and they'll buy it for 4k over that. They also said they're really interested in buying my vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous service and they will make up all sorts of lies to get you to come in and buy a car from them. read more

We were long time customers however, after our latest car service we will not be returning to Jupiter Chevrolet. We encountered several issues, including prolonged service times, poor communication, and unresolved mechanical problems. I took my wife's car in for service in September 2023 for a knocking noise when you turn the wheel. They had the car for over a month with little to no communication. I finally got a text message on October 31st advising the car was ready to go and the total was 796.36. After finally getting the car back, the service manager Jason assured us that the problem was repaired and the knocking noise was no longer present after he completed numerous test drives. However, the same day we picked it up, my wife heard the noise and I heard it the next day. We immediately called Jupiter and were told to bring it back. We test drove the car in the parking lot and Jason acknowledged that the problem is still there and he would "make things right". Sadly, the car sat in the shop again for almost another month. We got another call in December informing us Jason realized the car needs another part and more work done. He advised he would assist with some of the additional funds but would not be able to fix the issue without us paying the additional fees. Jason told us he would work with us but we would have to pay an additional $1,085.00 out of a $1400 repair. I guess that was his way of "making things right" after we paid just about $800 for repairs that did not fix the original problem we brought the car in for. After further back and forth,we explained to Jason our concerns with the prolonged time the car was in the shop, lack of communication, unfairness and the additional cost after we paid just about $800 for something they worked on and confirmed was fixed. At this point, he said we can buy the part and have it put on for half the price with no warranty on the parts/labor, or if we don't believe they know how to fix it, then we can come pick up the car. After spending 796.36 (with the issue not fixed after you personally confirmed it was fixed) and being without the car for nearly 3 months, why should I believe that you can fix it now or if the problem is even what you say it is? After that, we decided that it's best to come get the car and go somewhere else. read more

Service department check in was friendly and efficient. They identified a couple other maintenance issues with their drive thru diagnostic machine but there was NO PRESSURE to do it today. Harold was my service agent and he was excellent! My airbag recall was handled quickly, the front end alignment was priced at the low end of the non-dealer shops I priced and the work was done professionally and quickly. The courtesy drive was an excellent driver, very friendly and a great conversationalist. I will definitely go back in the future. read more

Dishonest, Incompetent, Unethical. It would seem that if the same customer, revisited the same dealership, requesting the same service(a standard 2-wheel alignment), that it would also seem to make perfect sense that, after the same dealer, reset the alignment, on the exact same vehicle, to the exact same specs(per the alignment report), as had been done previously, that the same dealer, would also re-center the steering wheel(as has been done previously). NOT AT THIS PLACE! 2-Wheel Alignment service might be performed, and placed back into identical specs(per the fabricated alignment report sheet), but because you didn't give them permission to rip you off for an unnecessary 4 wheel alignment, they can't re-center you steering wheel for you, again. Paid a rim shop around the corner from the dealer $20 to tweak my front alignment so that my steering wheel was centered to the horizontal and my vehicle could once again safely travel in a straight line. Dishonest. Drove my car into the dealership for an oil change on an original set of OEM performance tires at 15, 000 miles and requested a new set of rubber. Received my oil change, paid for the new tires and went home. 2 days later, drove back in to get the new tires. Got my car back with a brand new, mismatched set of tires; 2 were budget and those exact same 2 were incompatible. Like Service Advisor Dude, are you illiterate or something? How hard is it to correctly order new tires? Moreover, on what planet, and in what universe, would any customer be thrilled to pay $1300 for your dealership to put the wrong equipment on their car? Especially after what you removed from the car, was the right equipment? Incompetent. I am a very understanding person but I cannot make this stuff up. Stay far, far away from this place because all they want to do is take your money, argue with you, and inconvenience you as retaliation for expecting a reasonable level of courtesy and customer service; H3ll, they even charge you a 10 % surcharge for paying with your dam credit card. Long story short, they held out my car for a month and a half from a small rear end that was supposed to take two weeks would not work on my car due to a previous previous damage. Push me to total my car constantly finally agreed to have the previous collision center that I worked with previously pickup my car and fix the damage. I was told they shoved all parts of the original car into the cabin. It was in pieces. Here is the list of items and things that was wrong with the car while Jupiter Chevy. Number 1: scratched my passenger window. Number 2: back up camera popped out. Number 3: the top liners are popping up. Number 4: passenger door handle cover is missing. Number 5: all side curtain airbags don't fit right anymore they are bulging out. No. 6: they stole my passenger side wheel liner that I that I had in the car. Number 7: gouged my steering wheel. Number 8: broke my windshield and wanted me to pay for it. Number 9: ceiling liner was dirty. Lastly 10: sun roof doesn't work anymore. The manager at Chevy Jupiter pushed and pushed for me to total my car but never gave me a possibility to just fix it instead he lost my business and I decided to tow my car in pieces. You know how much pain you caused me. I was very nice to you and your team. I am sorry for the ugly review. This whole process took 2 months. So obviously the insurance gave me 30 days only for a rental barely. read more

Average experience. I went to another dealer to get a part and they didn't have it. They did say Jupiter Chevrolet had it and asked him to call and have them get eyes on it to confirm it was there. I drove over and it took them several minutes to locate the part. One of the guys behind the counter was wearing his mask over his throat. Also, they're charging 3% for credit cards charges. Total Scam. Received a mailer stating the you won a car. Called and they confirmed "You are the grand prize winner." Got there to see twenty other people who had the same Winner for the Equinox grand prize. It was a scam. Everyone I saw got the same $2 lottery ticket if you waited to talk to their sales team. They can shove it. It is a Total Scam. If this is how they operate, then how do you think their dealership works? I guess that is why they have such a low rating. Nice dealership. The service center is always busy,. The shuttle service has it benefits if your dropping off your car while on lunch break. The service advisors should discuss services performed with the customers to ensure all request were completed and the customer is satisfied with worked performed. The surveys after service is performed can be beneficial to help streamline that process. read more

TL;DR version: Bought car, they said things were fine, they weren't. Spend $4400 on repairs, in addition to finding $3,000 they added on to my loan that they said was required that wasn't. Bottom line: You can't afford to buy from this dealership. I can't speak for the new car department, but the used car department could certainly use some improvement. I bought a car from Danny, who was easy to get a hold of which was great. The only problem is that he wanted to sell a car so bad his answer to everything was yes. Any question there was, the answer was yes. When I went to test drive the car, I told him that the car I was looking at needed an alignment. He assured me that it had been done, I told him several times no it needs done and he kept saying that it was fine. Fast forward 2,000 miles, and my tires are wearing on the insides, and it is pretty much radio silence from this dealership. In addition, while driving the car, there was a light that came on (could be nothing), but again, I was told by Danny that my car would be looked at, it never was. I have tried to communicate with the dealership about these issues, and pretty much now have been told to take a flying leap that I signed a paper stating as is, so there is nothing they will do. Apparently, integrity just isn't a big part of their business model. I could go on: I was told that I would get 3 months of Sirus and OnStar free when I purchased, never happened. When I got the car home, I realized that the inspection was out on it just 5 days after buying it. They couldn't even be bothered to inspect the car. If you are in the market for a vehicle, do yourself a favor and start by looking somewhere besides Jupiter Chevrolet. Their main goal seems to be to get you to sign on the bottom line, they aren't worried about building relationships or even keeping their word for that matter. This dealership is full of nothing but snakes. They will do and say anything to get you to buy a vehicle. There are many other dealerships in the metroplex that actually work hard to earn your business and deserve your business. Unfortunately, this isn't one that even cares. UPDATE: I was told at signing that I was required to buy all sorts of stuff to get the loan. Gap insurance (I paid 60% down, so there will never be a gap), some kind of insurance in case I die, something for oil changes, etc. I called finance company and NONE of that was required. When I called to cancel, they (Jupiter) was very rude. The finance guy (Bobby Lee) told me he didn't say that was required (um, why would you buy that crap otherwise) and offered to meet me in a parking lot, I guess to beat me up. Stay classy Jupiter. UPDATE 2: After further investigating the add ons that Jupiter Cheverolet told me were required, it has come to my attention that this isn't legal. If after all of this, you still choose to buy here (or even elsewhere), know your rights. You CAN decline all of those add ons. Any reputable dealership should be honest with you about that fact. UPDATE 3: Took my car to a shop that specializes in lifts. Was told the car is unsafe to drive. Got a quote to fix the pieced together lift that was on it at purchase for $3,878 (UPDATE: Final total ended up being $4399.16). So basically, not only got the run around on a car, stuff added on to my loan, and no solutions from Jupiter, I also have purchased a car that is unsafe to take on the roads. This place shouldn't even be in business. UPDATE 4: Finally got the card fixed. Mostly. Spend $4400 repairing the bad lift that Jupiter Chevrolet had assured me was fine. Ron Ofner (the GM) told me I could just get it lowered down for 2,000. Real nice right? They sold me a car that was unsafe that I had to spend $4400 to make safe. Now, I need new motor mounts. I will update this post with the amount that costs also. Bottom line: Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Bought a car August of this year, was in an accident same month. Took my car to the dealership to have it fixed; apart from having to pay 15k to get the car taken care of. ANDY the lead tech or whatever his position is in the service department has been giving us the run around for the update and return of this car. Its a Cadillac ATS Turbo that is still being paid on. As of Today 12/7/2018, FOUR MONTHS later I have yet to know when Im getting the car back. About a month ago they decided to give us a loaner car due to the delay, which is cool and all but I rather drive my own incase of any casualties. I was told 2 weeks ago my car was done but needed to be inspected by the manager, ANDY told me this again, he stated Friday it'd be done. Ive tried calling multiple times... probably 100 times in the last 4 months to get updates and ANDY either dodges me or tells me "soon , almost done" In my opinion this has been the longest, most horrible experience ever. Our company van was hit December 2017, the 1st body shop that State Farm sent us to was a bad experience all around. Thank God State Farm allowed us to take it to Andy at Jupiter for corrective repairs. Picked up our Chevy Express Van 2500 February 5th and ALL was great! Every detail was addressed and the quality was like new. The drivers door had been almost totally ripped off, this is not an easy repair but they made it look and perform as new again. Where do I even begin. My 2018 Sierra was vandalized at a hotel in Arlington. All 4 wheels were stolen and several scratches down to bare metal were done to my truck. Insurance had a tow company come out and was supposed to take my truck to a GMC dealership in Grapevine. They instead sent it to this disastrous place (without me knowing by the way.) They said it was because Jupiter had loaned the towing company (Tow Jam- also horrible) wheels to put on my truck so that it could be towed without dragging. I called the Collision Center at Jupiter Chevrolet to let them know I didn't want my truck there I wanted it at the GMC dealership in Grapevine. I informed them that the GMC dealership would be bringing their own loaner wheels to put on my truck so they could tow it away. The gentleman at Jupiter said "no problem." I told them the towing company would need to borrow a jack or a lift to take the Chevy wheels off and put the GMC ones on. Again, told "no problem." However, GMC dealership gets there to put their wheels on and they discover my truck sitting on the ground on its rotors. They also buried my truck at the back of their lot. When the towing company asked to put their wheels on, the gentleman with Jupiter said "you can't work on the truck on our lot." He asked them why they would take the wheels off when they knew they were coming with their own wheels to tow it away. The guy with Jupiter simply said "well they are our wheels and it was already on the ground at the hotel anyway." He lied, as you can see in the pictures I have attached to this review, my truck was on garden blocks at the hotel. They didn't leave it sitting on steering rod bolts like the dealership did. In conclusion, the fine folks at Jupiter Chevrolet Collision Department held my truck hostage because they are too big of cry babies to act like professionals. Just because they didn't get the job to work on my truck, they acted out of spite and forced me to stay an extra two nights at a hotel. I have filed a case with the Attorney General and am also going to be seeking legal action against this fraudulent dealership!! You folks at Jupiter are an absolute disgrace and should be ashamed to call yourselves a professional dealership. I also hope to uncover your illegal workings with Tow Jam and see how many other customers you have tried to force have work done at your dealership against their will. read more

Jupiter Chevrolet is a USAA-approved body shop. It has done estimates and repairs on two of my cars, neither of which is a Chevrolet, and the work has been excellent and the people there have kept me informed at all times as to status. My Beetle had to have a repair after someone shot a gun in the air and a bullet came down into the roof of my car. Getting a headliner from VW was impossible (COVID, supply chain issues) and Jupiter Chevrolet found a refinisher to fix it. They also let me know that there was a mechanical issue with my brakes. They never tried to sell me anything I didn't need and were friendly and helpful at all times. Highly recommend. read more

Love the convenience but that's all I love. When you call to make an appointment for service, no one tells you there is a charge to have your vehicle looked at. Instead they wait to tell you that when you arrive with your car for service and you're stuck. When we complained,we were told they could " do nothing" unless we wanted to wait for a manager to be free to speak with us. I don't mind paying people for their work but be up front about it. I'm regards to service. I've brought my vehicle here three times and had great service twice. My most recent experience was nothing short of terrible. I called to set up an appoint for a check engine light which they said it would be 2 weeks before they can get it in. I dropped my truck off on the scheduled date (Monday) and was told I would be contacted mid week. I do not hear from them so I call on Friday only for them to tell me my truck was still not serviced for the check engine light. I ended up being without a vehicle for a week and my vehicle still did not get serviced. What's the use of making an appointment if it will sit for more than a week? Great visit and interaction for the initial sale BUT it has been downhill from there. I received my license plate via the mail, because I know how to put it on, so I have to say thank you to Clay Cooley for putting it on for me. Then 2 months after buying my car, I had to call and question the whereabouts of my 2nd key, and they said, oh it's been here, thanks for the notice. I was told to come pick it up, when I get there, I was told it was mailed to me, thanks for the notice. Then I called to ask about my oil change, and the rude guy who barely answered my questions and hung up as I was saying by have a great day...who was providing the customer service?!?
