    Our recent no nonsense purchase.

Seeing the recent commercials regarding the KIA financing specials I thought I would poke some dealerships to see what might be available. I'll preface this by stating that I no longer visit the dealership directly due to the nightmare of the typical car sales tactics that are used. Especially since I'm not an uneducated car buyer I simply don't have time for the show when I know what I want and what I can afford. So I start all talks online via email or another service like Auto Trader, True Car, etc. Out of 7 dealerships I contacted electronically 4 responded with actual intent to work out something electronically while the other 3 simply sent me an invitation to visit the lot. Out of the 4 that contacted me only 2 would talk numbers but only 1 went the distance to all but guarantee a price, KIA of LaGrange. They were upfront and honest with me that the price they stated would be up to me being just as honest regarding my credit and condition of my trade-in. So don't yank their chain and they won't yank yours. While this was a bit of a ride the dealership is new and fully modern, while small they are not far from the West Point factory where my vehicle was made, and by the sheet in my Owner's Manual folder made just the beginning of May just a day before my daughter's birthday, kismet. We arrived a little early were offered drinks, popcorn, while they processed our paper work and finished detailing the new car. Then we took a test drive, went over the cars features, then we started setting up my phone to the car, then we signed the final sold papers. Once that was done we moved the few things from the old KIA to the new and that was that. In under one and half hours we were in and out with a new car, at the payment we wanted but a surprisingly much lower interest rate. Not to mention the car was everything we had been told and then some, no feature I had asked for wasn't installed and at a price I really couldn't believe. My wife was so impressed that she fully intends to visit their dealership when she is ready for her next vehicle. If you decided to give them a shot I recommend talking to Kelvin Thorton or Randy Jackson. These are the gentlemen I dealt with personally but the other sales staff were all just as friendly and helpful during our visit.

Hands down- Best place to go in GA. Talk to Ronny, let him know Donny sent you.lol. Let me give you a quick back-ground before I write why----I bought vehicles in Texas, Idaho, Washington, New York, Georgia, Alabama, Germany, Italy, South Korea, exc- best experience in buying a vehicle I have ever had. EVER. Ive bought mustangs, Corvettes, Mercedes, Chryslers, Hummers, BMW's, Camaro's, power strokes, Cummins diesels, exc, a lot of different companies and their brands. ----Ronny didn't give be Bull crap right from the start. He asked basic questions- "are you guys here to see anyone?" " can I help you?" After that, its just him, listing to you.lol he'll ask you if your looking for anything in-particular, and then he just listens.... he does Not push a specific vehicle, nor does he try to sell you something above the price range you want. This, specific place, is one of the most professional, and organized places I have ever seen. Its not a big lot. But, Mr. Ronny was very knowledgeable of every vehicle we looked at. The reason for 5 stars- besides the obvious professionalism, it was also, the person who looked at our vehicle, and Assistant Manager. The person who looked at Our vehicle, (I cant remember his name, sorry) was a younger looking man, about 6'3, 6'4, magnificent Beard, Who was well articulate, and very kind. He also had some-one that was a Marine and got out, (always one) who accompanied him. Good Peoples, and direct. 6'2", 6'3", growing a beard, looks like a fullback. Then, our Financer working on the paperwork brought in the Assistant Manager to help with a possible discount- I pay less then what I did, got a Great trade-in Value, AND- 100K warranty, bumper to bumper- EVERYTHING-with GAP for less then what I paid on my trade in. This place, will be my Number 1 for vehicles for now on.

This was the 4th time I've had to leave it for repairs in as many months. Each time they found a "new" oil leak or coolant leak. And each time I got my vehicle back it hadn't been washed. The best thing about this place are their shuttle drivers....which I'm now on a first name basis with given how many times I've had to take my vehicle here.

I asked abut the start/stop service light and the technician checked batteries, Instantly Jeff called back and said that 1 battery had a warranty and I would just have to pay for the other battery for start/stop service. To be 100% honest, I wouldn't have bought my car there on 11/13 if it weren't for Lee. If you are looking to buy a car, ask for Lee! He completely saved our deal. If I were just reviewing the General Sales Manager, Shane Nerowski, and the other Car Salesman we briefly encountered, Jordan McCray, I'd give 0 stars. Shane was arrogant, aggressive, and overall one of the WORST sales people I've ever encountered. From the moment my mom and I walked in, he acted like we were dumb and like he was too intelligent, busy, etc., to give us the time of day, and this didn't change throughout the entire car buying process. Jordan was the same way, but we only briefly spoke. I test drove a 2024 Bronco Sport that was listed online for $44,338. I loved it and after Lee showed me all of its amazing features, I was ready to buy it immediately. I told Lee I would like him to try and negotiate the price, BEFORE TAXES, to $40,000. He comes back, after speaking with Shane, and hands us a paper with the price of $45,000 before taxes. I say no and ask him to go back and negotiate again. At this point, Shane comes over and talks to us himself. He says and I quote "I'm not going to go back and forth with y'all all night. What's the highest you can go?" To which I respond "Well the price online is much lower than this, so ideally I'd like 1,000 off of the listed price." And then I showed him another listing of the same car that was also much cheaper than the $45,000 he was so set on. He responds "I am not sure where that price is even coming from (it was the Mike Patton website LOL). And the price of the other car you're showing me is because of rebates." Me: "Why aren't I getting any rebates?" Shane: "It's right there in black and white on the website? Read the rebate stipulations yourself. What's the highest price you'll pay before taxes?!" Me: "42,500 and I will buy it right now." Shane: "Nope. Can't do it. Have a nice night." And then takes the paper out of my hand. We leave. Lee then txts me and says he got Shane to go down to $43,300. I respond and ask if he will take $43,000 and he agrees. Again, if it weren't for how much I loved this car and how great Lee was, I would have NEVER stepped foot in this place again. Shane should really be given a lesson on how to talk to people and probably take a few pages out of Lee's book.
