We swung by, picked up the two tires and we were back in the road all within three hours! We felt so blessed to stumble on this place when we initially mapped our GPS to the Walmart across the street first. Walmart didn't have anything we needed and so we went over to Fryer's. My friend and I were traveling back to Atlanta from the beach, when my car started running hot. We…read moregot off the highway, and decided to drive locally until we found a mechanic. We happened upon A-Tech Automotive a few minutes later, which we learned is run by Pastor Jim Butler. The guys were super helpful right away. Found out it was my head gasket and a few other parts that were causing the issues, and it was going to take over a day to complete. They fully explained all of my options (as a female, I'm not very knowledgeable about cars). Being 89 miles from home, it was easier to just stay in LaGrange for the night. Once we found a hotel, Jim had his son Dakota take my friend, me, 2 coolers, 6 bags, and 4 pool noodles to our hotel-which was extremely kind of them. We spent the night at the hotel. The next morning we were told the car would hopefully be done by 3pm. Once it was ready (about 2pm), Dakota called and offered to come pick us up from our hotel-I was so surprised by their generosity, as it seems to be a rare thing these days. He came to pick us up, and brought us (and all of our belongings) back to the shop. They explained how and why they fixed what they did. They went above and beyond for us, and I'll be forever grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone in LaGrange and even in surrounding areas-it's worth the drive to deal with such good, salt of the earth people!!

Around 4 am I was left stranded in Lagrange and got a toe to Stanford automotive. These guys opened up earlier than expected (7am) and dropped me off at a hotel. Said they would call me when they knew more about the situation. Obviously problem unknown at the time. So a few hours later I get the news no one wants to here but the only option is to change the belt and see if she fires up alright. They said they would have her patched around 2 pm same day. Keep in mind this was a Saturday. At 2:15 got a call that everything was done and she's purring like a kitten! Excellent news! Price was fair and got me in same day and out, with no ridiculous " this guys stranded and has no choice" pricing. Think it was $650. Picked me up from the hotel and haven't had any problems to date. I gave the owner a chance to write if I didn't get by telling him everything that happened and sending him screenshots of every bit of it and he told me there was nothing he could do. They are also extremely racist but that's a story for another time. I spoke to a lawyer who said my situation was so messed up they're taking the case for free today. I would stay very far away
