So good!!! Gorgeous decor and elite food and vibe. They were able to accommodate my food allergies. Gluten free, dairy free options were so delicious.

This was my first time trying Jordanian food and it won't be my last! Apparently this is a chain but don't let that dissuade you. All the food was very high quality and delicious. Beef Sajia tasted like a close relative of beef fajitas except with more finely chopped meat. This seemed to be a very popular dish for solo diners here but it was a little small for sharing. The fatteh was one of my favorites. The textural contrast between the cool yogurt and crispy fried pita was addictive. The Mansaf was my other favorite with super tender lamb shank and flavorful rice. Chicken shawarma was excellent and the fries were fresh. And you can never go wrong with a cheese pie. The chicken with white sauce had an insane tableside cheese pull and was a favorite of many at the table but I found the dairy laden sauce to be a bit heavy for my taste. Their decor was fun and interesting. Cons: only bottled water is served here.

I enjoyed Kashoka! The beef sajia was my favorite, I ordered it spicy for a little kick. The mint lemonade was refreshing and the spicy potatoes were good too. Service was great, and the restaurant has a cool, unique atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

I'm trying so hard not to give so much praise for this place because I want to gatekeep it all to myself, but that would be unfair to the ownership and staff because they deserve all the attention and success of any amazing restaurant that has exceptional service with absolutely stunning and delicious food. The pita alone made me feel like I just landed on the streets of Jordan and ate someone's grandmother's freshly-made pita. The hummus was so clean and smooth. I can't think of a better tabbouleh I ever enjoyed in the past. The falafel was small crispy and extremely herbaceous. The Zataar Manakish was thin, crispy, and extremely authentic, loved those toasted sesame seeds! The chicken white sauce, was in the simplest way to make it relatable, the most loaded and ethic white queso you ever had. Imagine a middle eastern seasoned queso with grilled chicken and veggies inside and eaten by dipping your pita in! Plus the presentation on it was top notch; baked in a clay pot with pita dough on top. But the singlehanded best bite of food was their pita with their hummus, tabouleh, and Beef Sajia. I'll be dreaming of that bite for months, Can't wait to come back! With my friends! Extremely special shoutout to our waiter Meekal. This young man is an exceptional waiter and human being. Kind, friendly, and super welcoming. We felt like we were made at home here. He was happy to show us pictures of the food we were ordering and gave us props for us making good ordering choices. Thanks Meekal!

We had tried a place in the shopping center that we loved & were eager to try other places so we dropped in for lunch. The atmosphere was upbeat & busy! We were immediately greeted & seated several minutes later. Our server made excellent suggestions chicken with white sauce, chicken swarma & beef??? (All pictured) the beef dish was the table favorite! We started our meal with a vegetable tray & hummus. We were stuffed! We will be back soon!

Khashoka is one of our favorite restaurants in the Dallas area. The food is consistently delicious, and the inside of the restaurant is decorated beautifully. There are so many good appetizers to try, but I wouldn't skip the hummus; the texture is so smooth, and the flavor of the tahini really stands out. My favorite entree that we get almost every time now is the chicken with white sauce, which has a creamy, savory sauce, juicy chicken, vegetables. I highly recommend trying this! It also goes so well with the bread here. Other dishes we enjoyed are the Jordanian mansaf, which is made with super tender lamb, and the beef sajia. For dessert, we really like the kunafa which is sweet with a crispy top and the perfect way to finish the meal.

Authentic, no frills Mediterranean joint! Highly recommend a visit to Khashoka! We stopped by at around 6pm on a Saturday and luckily got a table for 4 with no wait! The restaurant is very lively and the service was friendly. My only complaint is that they don't have real napkins, just Kleenex. The hummus is some of the best I've ever had. The ingredients are so fresh and it was so smooth! The halloumi and falafel were both tasty, but a bit cold for my liking. I really enjoyed the cheese Manakish! For mains, we got the Shakshuka and Potato Skillet. The Shakshuka eggs were scrambled, which I wasn't expecting, but still flavorful. The Potato Skillet was 10/10 a must order! Spicy, tangy, and a bit crispy -- I'm still dreaming of it! I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu options next time I'm in town!

4.5/5 stars Khashoka is a Jordanian restaraunt that opened up about six months ago in Dallas and it's hard to believe that a restaraunt so young could deliver such good quality food, but that is what I experienced my first time there. I also appreciated that the staff were very sweet and welcoming. For food, we ordered the Yalanji (hand rolled grape leaves with rice and vegetables) which are served cold, but were very flavorful served on a bed of lettuce. Additionally we chose the Hummus khashoka (hummus mixed with tomatoes, pickles and parsley) served with warm pita. The hummus was tasty, but the other dishes were honestly more of a highlight for me overall. For main entree, we ordered the chicken with white sauce (includes bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms with white sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and khashoka spices). The cheese pull on this dish is incredible; the blend of cheese to protein, to veggies was very well balanced and we asked for rice on the side which was a great complement to the dish. The white rice comes with nuts and parsley garnish. My favorite thing I've eaten in a restaraunt in Dallas as of yet has to be the wild zaatar and cheese pie. The dish consists of zaatar bread baked with cheese, extra virgin olive oil, and thyme. It was so heavenly I honestly considered ordering two for the road. The bread was so soft and the cheese was perfectly seasoned and slightly juicy. Lastly we ordered a post dinner tea which is a black tea blend with soaked mint leaves (perfect for digesting the meal afterwards with some sugar). I honestly can't wait to go back and try the other dishes I didn't get to this time around.

the hummus is the best here. It was creamy, flavorful, and it has a kick from grounded pepper. Between two people, we shared beef sudjia and chicken creamy. The creamy chicken baked inside a clay pot and pita on top tasted like chicken alfredo. It was good but i'll pass on that next time because flavor was too similar to italian chicken alfredo. The beef sudjia was my other favorite. I would describe it as Jordinian beef fajita but with different spices. It was so good. I took a bite out of the pepper on top and it was actually spicy. We sat outside and it was beautiful. For those not familiar with the culture, there's a box of tissue at every table for hygiene purposes bc food is meant to be shared. Just in case you were wondering. Service was not that great, he took our order and didnt come back to check on us. He also wrote down the wrong table and we had to flag down people everytime they bring out the food but I overlooked that bc the food was so good. The area is busy for dinner

We came in for a special anniversary lunch and this place did not disappoint! First our wait staff was so nice, gave wonderful recommendations and shows us pictures. We for sure needed to get the beet root salad, then the chicken tajin, wild zaatar and cheese pie... The bread that comes to table is warm and so delicious, poofed up and soft! Next time we so need to get the hummus and pickle dish! I have already decided! Very cozy spot, bright and I love the decor. Great for a casual lunch or even a lunch date!

Really wanted to try Khashoka during Ramandan, but they were fully reserved every time I called. Which only made my expectations go up, but was slightly disappointed when I finally got to try it. To be clear, food was NOT bad, it was good - it just wasn't incredible. To be clear it was not fine dining, so the portions were rather small for the price. Service was great and ambiance was incredible. Will i go back? Hmmmm, maybe, if someone else wants to go. We tried: Beef shajia Chicken Shawrma Chicken liver Shanklesh Hummus Fresh Mango juice

The raving reviews are totally justified and Khashoka is the real deal. Khashoka means 'spoon' and is associated with leaving the spoon, using your fingers and enjoy family styled dining. The decor of the restaurant is authentic and gives a wonderful window into Jordan. Spacious and well maintained. The restaurant was bustling on Saturday afternoon but there was no wait time for a table. We were a large group and service was really good. Now for the food. Our table ordered a variety of dishes and we got to taste a lot of their signature creations. My favorites were the chicken liver, beef bajia, hummus with beef, fried cheese and the rice. The hummus is creamy and the green chilli sauce adds a wonderful flavor. For dessert we tried the kunafa and Mohallabiah. I enjoyed the Mohallabiah, was not too sweet and had the perfect balance of flavors. Plenty of parking is available but can get busy. Pricing : Not an inexpensive restaurant but there is total value for the price you pay. The portions are generous and can be shared.

We stumbled across this place while I was looking for a nearby Middle Eastern restaurant, and wow! The interior design and atmosphere are fantastic. I can't say for sure how authentic the food is, but it's definitely tasty. I wish I had tried something other than the white pan chicken sauce though. It's exactly what it sounds like: good, but not anything special. On the other hand, their hummus and beef were amazing! I'll definitely be back to try other options from the menu. They really lean into authenticity... in that there's no tap water, and the only option for still water is their $3 bottled water. We ended up getting $9 smoothies, which were rich and concentrated, so no regrets there, but I still wish there was a tap water option.

The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I personally love the chicken cooked in a yogurt sauce, roasted cauliflower, and chickpea moussaka as my top standouts, but truly there are too many delicious things to name. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. This was a fabulous adventure! We took a few hours to visit Sarahs Market and ate lunch at their S Grill. The market is very small, but every inch of its space is very special. First, we found our way to the back corner and sat at a tiny countertop with only 4 chairs. The counter faces an open top grill, and you're able to talk/ watch the chefs make the food. The menu is limited and pricey! We ordered one steak kabob ($26.00). The steak was served medium rare, very juicy, on top of a long rice (similar to rice pasta), and it was coated in a delicious seasoning completely unfamiliar to us. It came with roasted tomatoes & purple onion. You can select from several sides, we picked the hummus. It was a huge portion, enough for 2 people. The chef was so pleased to have us and was very impressed that we were there to learn. He gave us many "generous" sized samples of the sides and sauces they offered. Everything was made in-house, from scratch with fresh ingredients from their grocery store. It was a wonderful experience! The bakery aspect of this location is a small glass display case full of sweets, like macaroons, cheesecake baklava, and more. Most of them were new to us. The pastry chef gave us a few samples that had us buying a bunch to take home, lol. We strolled through the grocery store part of the market before leaving and bought a few items we already enjoyed. The difference was buying things that are made in-house, like pita bread. You can definitely see, smell, and taste the difference. A FIVE STAR review for their authenticity, hospitality, and delicious fresh food. If you're in the area you've got to try the Grilled Kabobs.
