It has been a while! The last time we wandered to a KFC was in July (back in Indiana). But the urge for fried chicken is a strong one. Overall, the food was as expected. Chicken nuggets were great. The chicken was declared great (extra crispy) Mashed potatoes were good Cole Slaw is good! We don't often do the "fried chicken thing," but it is always good to know KFC is still around! Side note to this review, we visited Thailand a few years ago. The spiciest meal we had in Bangkok? I was at a KFC, and we took the kids so they could get some comfort food. And to add insult to injury, they were not calling out the names or order numbers but rather just placing your order behind a cabinet. Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporate should shut down this location. They serve old dried out chicken, the biscuits are rock hard, and the wait staff are rude. This is pretty sad because Kentucky Fried Chicken used to have the best chicken nice big juicy pieces and a terrific product. Now it's no good and every time I go to this particular location I ask myself why? I've decided I'm going to get my fried chicken from Popeye's from now on. Atmosphere - n/a Value - 4 Service - 3 Food - 5 It's a fast food restaurant so I'm not going to comment on the standardized interior. I also want to note that I'm only commenting on the new chicken & donut sandwich. This KFC started off by forgetting an item from my order, so not a great start. The sandwich itself is pretty damn tasty, albeit a little expensive. The best part of the sandwich is without a doubt the donut. I don't know if they make their own donuts, but when the sandwich is fresh, the donut comes out hot and with the outer layer a little crispy. This is so much better than a dunkin donut in my opinion, because there's more complexity and texture in the donut. In addition, the sandwich I received did not skip out on the chicken itself, and the sandwich as a whole is very decadent and rich. You may need to order the combo or get a water so you'll have something to wash it down with. read more

Tried this place again. It was really a mistake. What's sad is how awful the food was. You could taste how everything was from a box. Every taco shell was broken. The chicken was stale. Believe it or not, haven't been to this fast food restaurant in years even living near the area. Probably my third time in over a decade. Now I remember why I rarely visit this place... Ordered a Famous Bowl, a 3-piece Chicken Tenders meal, a Nashville Hot Sandwich, 2 Coleslaws and Mashed Potatoes with extra gravy and a couple of drinks. First off, clearly said I wanted 2 sides of Coleslaw. Secondly, told them Mashed Potatoes with extra side of gravy. And third, wanted hot sauce. However, all 3 were missed when receiving the order through the drive-thru. Had to go back through the drive-thru and wait in line in order to point them out that they missed those 3 after checking the bag in the parking lot. Not a huge deal, but a little inconvenient. I had some Georgia Gold chicken from here and it was very greasy and unappealing; I felt sick the following day. Another time, I arrived late at night wanting something to eat. An employee saw me and ran up to the door and rather than welcoming me inside, locked the door right in my face, even though it hadn't reached closing time yet. I guess they didn't want my money or patronage. Only reason it avoids getting a one-star rating is because I reserve that for maliciously bad service. This location is a combined restaurant KFC/Taco Bell. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE CRAVING TACO BELL! I guarantee you that you will be disappointed. First of all, the service here is slow, so be prepared to wait. The KFC side is okay....not bad, but not great either. This restaurant seems better functioning as a KFC, than a Taco Bell. Every time that I have gotten Taco Bell here, the quality and quantity was not adequate. Tacos were like an empty shell with barely anything in it. Bean burritos were mainly the tortilla. Where's the quality control in this place! I have learned that if I crave for Taco Bell, I need to drive a few miles down the road to the Taco Bell on Crystal Rock (near the theaters). Service was slow and the manager who took my order seemed frustrated and rushing through everything as if customers were a burden. The place was dirty and no clean tables to sit at. A few months ago I drove off after repeating myself in the drive thru 5 times, yes, 5 times. I would think this store manager would put someone in customer service positions that can speak English. Tonight we were craving KFC and against my best judgement I went to this location. Drive thru again and no problems yet, a little slow but they always were. I got home, 5 miles away during rush hour to find out they skipped a side dish. I went back and 15 minutes later arrived to get my side. It has been some time since I have visited a KFC only because I prefer Popeyes. Don't get me wrong, I used to LOVE KFC when it was Kentucky Fried Chicken and you could choose from original or extra crispy. Those were the good ole days and they are LONG gone. The drive through employee was a dipwad. I placed my order and all he heard was 8 PC. I had to repeat everything slowllly for him. The sun was shining bright against the menu board and I couldn't see the sides. I knew I wanted mashed potatoes but asked if he could give me a sec and he said "cole slaw"? I said no just a minute and he was like "ok calm down!" I said I am CALM trust me! Then when I or to the window I wanted to add a tea to the meal and he said we don't have tea just blah blah soda. I said I don't want soda and he put his hands up as if to say "excuuuse me". While he was being a dipwad I was dialing his manager because the number was on the window. Told the manager I wouldn't be coming back because of his employee's attitude. The manager was very nice and offered me a free dinner the next time I went back.
