DON'T GET WAFFLE FRIES I really thought I would like this place but I didn't. I got -family size waffle fries -12pc Cajun chicken tenders -"chicken sandwich meal" aka just a chicken sandwich (unless you pay extra money) (this may be an issue at DoorDash, not the business itself) I love waffle fries and fatty food, but this has to be an exception. These fries were really disgusting. I looked at them and I could see the grease/oil seeping through them. I tried to eat one and I could not taste the potato inside. All I could taste was the oil that it soaked into the potato. I tried to eat more, but it's really hard to. The chicken tenders had to be the high point of this meal. They did taste pretty good, but some of the batter was peeling off of them. They aren't exceptionally crispy or crunchy. (I'd say the business name is rather deceptive )But we're ok for the price. The chicken sandwich was not that bad (as far a the chicken & bun). It was a little small, but still worth it. The main issue is the chicken sandwich was that it was pictured having pickles in it and mine did not have any. I did not go Inperson so I have nothing to say as far as ambience. Ok so im a Yelp regular and always tryna keep ppl up to date with honest good or bad reviews. I dont sugar coat or beat behind the bush. Now, this spot is inside the Mobil gas station. The worse chicken, biscuit, fries i EVER had. It was my first & last time here. Chicken: skin dry af and tasted like it was cooked in old Diesel oil. No joke. Like we see on tiktok. Biscuit: see the pic, i grabbed a piece and it broke off weird. It tasted like it was OLD cake iceing. Fries: old and dry. So no i dont rec you get food from here. OK so...Thanks to Popeyes, I've been craving a fried chicken sandwich. Allllll the crispy, slapped on a bun and finished with some pickles. WELL, thanks to Uber Eats, I was able to! A quick search revealed that Krispy did indeed have my sandwich; along with waffle fries and myriad of other sides like mac&cheese, jambalaya, mashed potatoes, red beans&rice, honey biscuits, and Cajun fries. Basically everything you'd want for quick&easy comfort food. So I ordered the chicken sandwich meal (which was really just a sandwich, without the option to choose a drink). That's an error on Uber's part though, and there was the option for sides at an extra cost. If it says meal, I'm thinking that you at least get a drink and side with it...but whatever. Anywho. The sandwich arrives and it's reasonably sized and dressed with what appears to be a little mustard and some pickles. Awesome. It came with two packs of mayo, so I added some (along with mustard...mustonnaise?) and took a bite...wow. It's better than I thought it would be, considering that I was mentally comparing it to Popeyes the entire time. Could it be crispi...krispier? Sure. Could it be larger? Sure. Was it absolutely essential? Nahhhhhhh :) The only Krispy Krunchy that I heard of was attached to a gas station. Most of the negative comments you will see are due to the customer service. To put it into context, this is an immigrant owned franchise. English is not their first language. They are mostly located in gas stations, car washes and convenience stores. When I walked into the Gaithersburg location, I was immediately hit with boisterous laughs from the center of the room, by about 8-9 construction workers telling jokes and waiting for their food. If you know anything about these guys, that's already a good sign, because they do not part with their hard earned money very easily. As far as the actual food they serve, the chicken is just amazing and it is well seasoned. They also have a KKC proprietary sauce which goes great with the chicken. Plus the blueberry biscuits I thought were way more tasty than KFC/Popeyes's by a mile. Furthermore the prices are much lower than KFC/Popeye's. My advice to everyone is, if you are looking for an culinary experience, don't go to a gas station. If you just want some great fried chicken then definitely go here. read more

First timer and had it delivered. Three stars for excellent crispiness, not tons of fried breading, meaty chicken breast and prompt delivery so the chicken was hot. Threw out the chicken because the meat tasted like it had a vinegar marinade. I've brined Turkey & chicken before but it never had a vinegary taste. The chicken, while not as Krunchy as I had hoped it would be, was still so FRESH, JUICY, FLAVORFUL and tasted like it was marinated in the most perfect blend of spices. BUT.... the absolute star of this inaugural order of mine, would have to go to (drumroll please) THE HONEY BUTTER BISCUITS!!!! Those biscuits are so good that Krispy Krunchy has single handedly ended the debate over who has the best biscuits (disagree? fight me). I've ordered from here two or three times... each time my food came fast, was hot & krispy and always delicious! They've never forgot an item. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, krispy outside and juicy on the inside. The honey butter biscuits are EVERYTHING, I always add extra to my order. You can tell they are home made. They're flaky, tender, sweet mmmm! Sides aren't bad I just prefer extra gravy on my beans. Sides weren't anything to write home about but get the job done. The fried shrimp meal is great too. Not going to lie I didn't have high hopes about this place but I was starving and didn't want breakfast food so I was happy to see this was open at 7am on Uber Eats. I got the chicken sandwich. It was perfect! It was simple yet very tasty. The bun was very nicely baked.(I'm a professional baker so I kinda know what I'm talking about(:) the fries were also so good! Again very surprised. The best "fast food" fried chicken I've ever had. I used Uber Eats to order, got a 3 Pieces mix meal and a five piece shrimp. The chicken breading is seasoned well and doesn't hold the oil. The chicken was tender and moist. The shrimp were breaded the same and were just as good. They sent a hot sauce too which added a nice flavor to both the chicken and shrimp. I like legs and wings, and don't see why I have to pay for an order that includes thighs and backs that I don't want. Give customers more choice.
