There are 5 booths, a combo and 4 tables that seat 4 ppl. The establishment is clean and the staff I interacted with was friendly. The entrance and exit allows for proper flow in and out. The floors are CLEAN. There's no squishy or sticky sound when you walk and staff actively washed their hands ( glad to see it). The sausage does have pork in it so if you adhere to refraining from pork products don't order anything with sausage. Food review: I got my meal to the car and the yucca fries were room temperature. The sandwich I got had wonderful bread but the chicken was very dry. The red sauce wasn't too good.

Being a vegan, there was very little for me to eat here. I went in to buy chicken for my little one. The man that took my order was rude and unfriendly. Since I had never been there it took a long time to decide but there wasn't anyone else in line so I don't know what his problem was. The interior was clean & modern. I ordered a quarter chicken meal for my little one. It looked crisp, juicy, and really good. My little one liked it so I have no complaints there. This place is easy to find from Georgia Ave. and there is plenty of parking. Cautiously recommending!!

Paid for medium spicy sauce - this is what i received

Not a fan of chicken but was crazy the spicy SAUCE specifically? Placed an order online via the Yelp app - all items in bag as the order however I should've opened all items prior to leaving. Spicy was phenomenal, chicken was juicy!, a bit salty to my liking. Primavera rice was on point and so were the mashed potatoes (still hot). One thing that was confusing was the "pickup order" signs. They're located in the entrance right when you walk in and point towards the "exit" sign - when I walk up to the counter there's two more signs, under one were baby high chairs? And the other sign was pointing to space on the counter but all pickup orders were b e h i n d the counters. All signs were to the right of the cashier, was confusing and the employee behind the register looked at me puzzled as to why I didn't come directly TO the register. Highly recommend moving the picking up orders signs, it's not a rate and doesn't make any sense. Overall This did fulfill my craving for spicy sauce but in no rush to return.

Crisp and Juicy - Gaithersburg shows this sign offering a cash discount but once inside they play dumb.

Today, 7/29/2023, I went to the Crisp and Juicy restaurant in Gaithersburg, MD (18328 Contour Rd), and saw a sign on the front window offering an "incentive" for people paying cash, a 3.99% immediate discount. Once inside, the lady cashier rang the order and I asked that if I paid cash, I would get a discount. She said, "no, this is your cost if you pay cash, if you pay with a credit card, then I would add a 3.99%". I told her that it didn't make sense, and she said that a lot of people have complained but that she was following owner's directions. I then asked her if the prices on their display, showed only cash prices because I didn't see it advertized anywhere, and her reply was that "I only work here". Beware, it seems like a scam to me!

Peruvian grilled chicken chain Food: Chicken - 4/5 - pretty good, except it sometimes is more dry sometimes more moist and tender Carnita steak - 4/5 - pretty good I like how they grill it with onions and green pepper Spicy chorizo - 4/5 - pretty good probably one of the better ones in the area Sauces - ** I love spicy, creamy dipping sauce Argentine-style carnita steak sandwich - 2.5/5 - I really did not enjoy this Fried yuca - 4/5 - best eaten with dipping sauce Fried plantain - 3/5 - pretty good but wish it be more crispy instead of soggy Rice & black beans - 3/5 - lacks flavor Cesar salad - 4/5 - pretty good but not exceptional Ambience: Fast casual style Service: Fast, friendly, efficient

Customer service not professional, two ladie staff members was using bad words and the other one hugging the the other guy employee , I asked her for my order she didn't tell if of it was ready or was coming up. Chicken sandwich was not good at all.

    1/2 chicken, 2 sides, 2 sauces.

There are some die-hard Crisp and Juicy fans out there, and after trying it again I just don't get it. It's not bad rotisserie, but there are so many other more flavorful options out there. My guess is that for people who prefer an unseasoned traditional rotisserie, this is their bird, for everyone else, there is Sardi's! There, I said it...the "S" word. You can't write a Peruvian chicken review and not refer to the best in the area. So here is the main difference, for me...a Sardi's chicken is rubbed with spices. You see them on the skin and caked under the breast plates. If you like that seasoning, and I do, you'll be licking it out of every nook and cranny once your meat is gone. It's that good. I'm sure this bird had plenty of salt on it and was probably lightly rubbed with seasoning, but I didn't see or taste anything obvious. My dark meat was juicy, my breast was very bland and dry. The skin was okay. Had a bit of that stickiness that people like, but wasn't crisp all around. The only thing I liked better about this bird was that I could taste more of the charcoal flavor from the lump it was roasted over. Otherwise, not worth going back in my book. It was served piping hot. I'm not sure if it was fresh off the grill or in warming oven as I didn't see any flames. (maybe that's why mine was dry) They do indeed only give you two half filled sauces with your 1/2 chicken "Super" meal. Just two. No more offered. The green sauce was nice and spicy and I liked it. I just needed more of it. They have less sides than other places, but the ones I tried were fine. I prefer the Peruvian assembly line where you can watch them hacking up a bird fresh off the grill and you can point to the sides you want based on how they look. Here you place your order at a register and it's prepared behind the scenes for you. It's okay.

If you burn the plantain, simply put those to the side. No need to actually sell these to customers

I made a call in pick up order and got the chicken parm sub $11.75 and gemellis pepperoni special $24. Also, the service for ordering and picking up was quick and easy. - The chicken parm sub was solid, but the main problem was the lack of tomato sauce. - The pepperoni special was a miss for me, and that's unfortunate cause I remember it being way better last time. It's cheesy, but the lack of tomato sauce and the dough/bread being underwhelming/ weak really ruins the taste experience. Overall, it seems that Gemelli has definitely fallen off in terms of the quality & taste that I've enjoyed previously. Don't know if I'd be back, but I do know that their chicken parm and polpette subs are still worthy choices in my eyes.

Tuesday 1/7/2025…read more Came across this spot randomly on Yelp a few years ago and saw they had some popular items like wings and cheesesteaks but what caught my eye most was the different empanada flavors. I made a pickup order over the phone and everything went well. One thing I got notified by the worker was that the empanadas will soon be leaving the menu permanently, so luckily I could try them before the change went into effect. For my order I got: applefest empanadas (2 ct) $6.49, steak and cheese (provolone) $12, and the 12 ct Mexican BBQ wings $16.49. - When it comes to the Applefest empanadas they were decent and they kind of reminded me of the McDonald's apple pies (an item I last tried YEARS ago). But I didn't like the $3.25 cost per empanada and being forced to order the empanadas in 2s-4s-6s without having the opportunity to mix flavors. - The steak and cheese was alright. It didn't wow me or anything but it gets the job done. - The Mexican bbq wings are a pretty good price, but I made a mistake with the flavor as the dry rubbed "Mexican bbq" wings were weak. Luckily, I had some BBQ sauce at home, and adding it to the wings enhanced the experience. Overall, Beers and Cheers is a cool little spot. The wings for the price are pretty good and something I'd recommend, but I honestly can't see myself returning.

The service was good both in person and over the phone. The lady taking my order was helpful and made sure I was all good when picking up the food. - The steak & cheese was alright and was even better with some BBQ sauce. I think the sub could've greatly benefitted from having a house sauce paired with it to make up for the meat's lack of flavorful juices that you would come to expect from a typical Philly. - The seasoned fries were solid, they get the job done. - The fajita melt was solid and the chipotle sauce on it highly elevated the experience. I'm going to need more of that Chipotle sauce, please. - Now I'm more of a hot sub guy over a cold sub guy so I'm testing the waters with the Italian sub. Luckily, the Italian sub is a solid option.
