Representing 2022, W is for Wingstop. I had a friend, who lived in Montgomery Village who moved in 2025, but a couple of times we ordered Wingstop. We picked up wings here, and the staff was nice and always punctual with the timing. They have various wing bundle specials, which aren't bad. The wings are pretty solid, but they are fried wings, which a bit of a negative but still tasty. Overall, good positive experiences. I visited another location in Beltsville, which wasn't so good. I did the survey email I got in October 2025 and named all the issues. The next day the manager of that store called me and said to come back in, and he would treat me to free wings and make sure my experience was better. I have yet to do that as it's just quite rare that I'm on that part of US 1 and also looking to eat over there too (maybe twice driven by since then), but I haven't forgotten; I will eventually redeem this. It wouldn't be fair to give a bad 2-star Yelp to them yet; manager was nice enough to call, I'll want to get those free wings from him and can judge the overall experience from October 2025 to whenever I end up doing that. read more

This is our go to location for wingstop. The food is always piping hot and crispy. As with every wingstop, the ranch always comes in clutch. I personally like the lemon pepper and the garlic Parmesan, but Korean bbq is also a house favorite. They are conveniently located in the Safeway parking lot and there are plenty of space regardless of the time of day. read more

I tried wings from pizza places and these do not compare. I like to get mine plain or Oldbay. I have purchased other flavors in the past and always had happy eaters. I usually order pick up and every time I call, I get good customer service. I always ask for the specials and sometimes come up with complicated orders that they always deliver. The ranch dressing is addicting, or is it just me? When picking up, the kitchen is always clean, as you can see it from the counter. read more

We have ordered carry-out from this location many times. They were all good experiences and it was no different tonight. Service was great and food was wonderful. Always loved the garlic parmesan wings. We also ordered the chicken sandwich and seasoned fries which were just as delicious as the wings. This won't be our last visit. Until next time. read more

On Sunday 11/19/2023 I placed an online order at around 4pm (50 wing group pack). When picking up my order I noticed that almost half the order was missing. 25 wings, 4 dips, two large fries were missing to be exact. Luckily I wasn't far from the store so I was able to turn around and let them know. However, what appalled me was the fact that I was being rushed to share what was missing and a gentleman in green hair almost made it seem like I was lying about what was missing. This location used to be my go to but it defiirly seems like it's gone downhill over the past couple months. Luckily there's more around this location because I will not be returning. read more

I've been to a few Wingstops around where I live. My experience has been hit or miss at this specific one. Depends if you're coming during big games or events who is working that day, your experience will be different. Employee's are trained to ask for your name for your order, however all aren't as quick to serve or friendly as others. The wings itself, which I normally get bone in and only have tried garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, and spicy korean (not that spicy and I cant handle spicy). All flavors are delicious and I would recommend. However, as I spoke about hit or miss. Sometimes they can come out with too much seasoning or oil on them. For example I got too much lemon pepper on my chicken multiple times and it was too sour/salty to eat. And for the oil, they could let the chicken sit over the fryer to let it drip excessive oil off before serving. A few times I ordered to go, they forgot my dipping sauce as well. If you also get fries order a small. They're huge! Pro: -Multiple flavors you can mix and match -Delicous when made properly Cons: -Prices are expensive, it's like $1.05+ per wing if you calculate it -Too much oil and seasoning -Often busy and have to wait -Place is kinda small, if you want to come watch a game better come super early Tips: -Order online or call in because most of the time they are busy read more

To whom it may concern, We have never had a complaint or any problem with the wing stop located at 20201 Goshen Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 before until now. On 04/14/24 around 10:33pm my wife and I were craving wing stop, I tried making a call to this location multiple times but no one answered the phone so I decided to walk in the store around 10:42pm. The host greeted me and I told them I wanted to make an order that was when I was told "we are not taking any orders right now" I asked what time the store closes and the two hosts up front told me "10:40pm". I left the store and looked up the store times and the website showed 11pm as closing time. My wife and I eat from this establishment every time and love the food we get from here but the lack of professionalism and lack of honesty that I experienced on 04/14/24 from the 20201 Goshen Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 location by those employees is completely uncalled for. This location is the closest one to my house. Update: The location reached out to me and apologized on behalf of their staff. Offered me and my wife a gift card and a free meal to compensate. We both appreciated it and for that reason, they earned our continued business. read more

Four stars for their takeout service. I ordered 8 wings to go for lunch and I love how they gave me a time estimate and had the wings ready to go as soon as I got there- very convenient for saving time. Another great thing about this one experience was that even though I ordered 8 wings, they gave me two extra ones because a few of them were looking kinda chumpy... that's a great play on the cook staff here at wingstop, as other places would give you the first 8 wings they find regardless of the size. And the wings I did have were cooked perfectly- I got the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper (dry-based) wings. The lemon pepper wings were my favorite and tasty- not spicy at all but the temperature of the wings combined with the zest makes this one a regular favorite. I didn't like the garlic parmesan as much as I felt they were a little bland, but that's just me. In all- reliable service, great, juicy wings, and I'd definitely come here over bww any day. read more

It saddens me that I even have to do this because for years this location has been my favorite but unfortunately I have ran into too many consistent incidents where I'm missing part of my order ( fries, sauces, wings, etc ) The food is still good, I have no complaints on that but the service could surely improve if things or done more efficiently. The location is also recently renovated and clean so that isn't an issue either. Overall 3/5 read more

We ordered take out twice recently and were so happy with our meal and the value. Their boneless wing were tender, juicy and good size. I preferred the dry rubs more than the sauces. I think my favorites were lemon pepper rub and Louisiana rub. Their fries! They are so good. I remember coming here over ten years ago and loving their fries. They have not changed since that many years ago. I try to stay off the fried chicken but when I visit family up here, i indulge and get Wing Stop. read more

I picked this location for a carryout order over the Middlebrook one as this has better reviews and I've dined here before so I was sure my food was going to be great but I was dissapointed... I placed an order for pickup through their app for 7:30 and due to the pandemic, they had advised to not come in the store for pick-up until your ordered time. I went in at 7:30 and told the cashier how I had a order pickup. Both cashiers were giggling and mumbling so I could not understand them and he finally pointed to the table where they had the rest of the pick up orders. I picked up my bag and asked him if he needs to check my ID or anything and he mumbled again so Im assuming he said no so I left. Half way home is when I realized they did not pack my drink that came with my combo and my food was ice-cold. They also didnt add the extra ranch cup that I paid for. Deff wont be placing a carry out order from this location. read more

I kept meaning to post a review right after I got my food, but here we are. I hardly ever have issue with my orders here, but clearly this time was an exception. As you can see, the order receipt on it clearly states that it was supposed to be all drums and seasoned fries. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to check my food before getting it home because my friend picked it up for me. I ordered an 8pc combo drums only, and yet I received flats and drums. The fries were soggy and completely unseasoned. The only saving grace was that the wings still tasted good. However, we all know the fries are what completes the meal. read more

My brother has always been a fan of this place and I did not eat meat so I couldn't really try this place. Now that I have married a meat-eater, this was my chance to try this place. It really was not a sit down type of place and I saw a lot of people making orders to-go. It is at the corner between a grocery store and a 7 eleven and a gas station. The wings were okay. They definitely do a better job than buying wings from a grocery store - I hoped at least - and they delivered on that front. However, the sauce and the spices were a bit bland. They were not as spicy as they touted to be and I wished we went further and got the spiciest option now. I felt like all of the wings were blanched and fried to hide the quality of the chicken, but what can you expect from a fast food type of wing place. Location wise, this place does its job as people are usually here for quick stops and it is located pretty neatly. As for the food, it could be better, but if you were craving chicken, wings, or spicy chicken and you need a quick fix, this is certainly an option to consider as they are the ones specializing in wings. read more

Perfectly mediocre. Wait time not terrible. Staff not rude, nor overly nice. Good sauce selections. Decor neither depressing nor inspiring. Average. read more

I stopped with the daughter for a quick and naughty lunch and we weren't disappointed! We both got a lunch combo.... her, a plain boneless wing and me, classic lemon pepper. Both were delicious as were the fries, and their ranch is amazing! Service was friendly and quick. Nice splurge place. read more

I went there to pick up my order , a spanish guy was at the counter . He didn't respond to my greeting and when I told him that I came to pick up an online order He yelled " Ma'am is your Order not at the table?" I didn't know we were supposed to collect orders at the table since there was no sign indicating so , it was a terrible first time experience. The fact that he could have politely instructed me that they placed orders on a table for pick up but he didn't made me storm out the restaurant upset. This is unfortunately very unprofessional as well since the wings will get cold . read more

Consistently excellent wings. I really like their classic BBQ flavor and their mango habenara is really hot and I eat spicy food! Each time I've ordered from here I've called ahead and they always have my order ready. My only complaint is the chaotic parking lot in their shopping center. Not really their fault, but still something to keep in mind. read more

The order online was good, the cash register people friendly. But the food : 5 different kinds of flavor boneless wings and all of them are too salty, too dry . I won't buy from here anymore. read more

Talk about a good selection of flavors.. Atomic, cajun, original hot, Mild, Smoked bbq, lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian and teriyaki. These wings always do the job for me, I'm addicted I eat here way too much. Wing-stop flavors are all good to me, there is not one that I don't like but I love their garlic Parmesan, also-the wings are crispy which is exactly how I like them. The fries are really good as well, they have something sweet about them that I really like.. I always feel like I wait about 20 minutes to get my food, I wish it was a little bit faster because it is a fast food restaurant but I can't complain because I know the wings are made fresh to order. read more

Just like your other Wing Stops except a little smaller. Staff was friendly, Food was fresh and fries weren't overbearing with seasoning. Manager he was courteous and asked if everything was good with our food. Took one star off for the Employees that were off the clock that were hanging around socializing and going around the front counter. Nothing wrong with that but they were being a little loud , it gave a bad vibe in a way. Almost there guys. read more

I wavered between 3 and 4 stars for Wingstop. The boneless wings themselves are quite good. If you've heard the commercials for the lemon pepper flavor, they aren't kidding, its really really good. The other flavors all range from a sweet BBQ to a hot and spicy, but lemon pepper is always a solid go to. The staff here is really friendly, but the whole place feels really dark inside. The disappointing thing is the fries, which tend to be soggy and overcooked. Also, the wait times can be ridiculous if someone ahead of you calls in a big order. I still will go back for the lemon pepper wings though. Have I mentioned they are really good? read more

I believe I had written a really bad review of this place a couple years back, when they had fired all of the capable staff and brought some guy from Texas named Mike up to manage the place. He failed miserably. I believe it's Jason who is the new manager (or he appears to be when I've been there), and he has this place running like clockwork, regardless if he's there or not. The wings are back to being cooked properly. My garlic parm wings were covered in parm, which is how they should be. I've been going to the Shady Grove spot the past few years because of the change up to staff, but it's now back to getting your orders on time, and things being cooked properly. Shady Grove is still a great spot, and the staff there are phenomenal, but they don't make wings as good as the new Goshen staff. Very glad I don't have to make the trip down the Shady Grove any more for wings. read more

Really questioning all these raving reviews... I had eaten here a handful of times in the past but was never impressed. At some point I decided that if a place named for wings can't get wings right or even pretty good, it's not worth visiting. Recently a friend told me she had gone it and like it, so I decided to give it another try. SO disappointed. I ordered the boneless wings (first mistake) with fries and blue cheese dipping sauce. The wings were super dry and soggy and aside from heat had no flavor. The blue cheese wasn't even good! The fries were soggy, over seasoned and extra greasy. Needless to say, NOT returning. So disappointed I spent almost $15 on this meal! read more

This place is definitely a hit or miss, when it comes to placing a to-go order. Come on Wing stop get your shit together!! for the past three orders you have been 'privileged to receive, you've been dead wrong every single time!!! If you're going to offer an app, make Good and damn sure it works before you have customers using it! Great place to eat, the wing hit right on! And they have a tasty flavor. I would recommend 100%

Mmmm...NO FLAVOR NO FLAVOR NO FLAVOR .. I TELL YOU WHAT..... SHAKE THOSE wings IN A Vinager salty water, cook them 1/2 way trough , put them in the fridge and next time your customer comes in, the wings will have some flavor. Sorry but 25 minutes for 1 order don't think so. read more

Ordered 15 boneless wings and the wings were so salty and inedible that I threw them away after eating just a few. The parmesan wings were just swimming in butter and the buffalo wings were not cooked first and then dipped in buffalo sauce. All of the wings felt like they had been frozen and then microwaved. This was my first, and last, time ever to eat at wing stop. Absolutely worst food I've ever eaten! read more

Wingstop can be hit or miss, but I do love me some fresh hot wings. Each location is different. This one at Goshen seems to always hit the mark for me. I always wish I could eat more so I could justify ordering a lot, because I remember a time when wings were cheap or occasionally free at a bar. Nowadays, you have to pay a premium for them, but they are so good, it's something that ought to be indulged in once or twice a year. read more

Top shelf wings! Definitely worth the high cost of going out for wings. Cajun wings all the way ! They are the best! Original are a little meh for me. The habanero mango are a little too mild and little soggy, but the Cajun wings and the Louisiana rub are phenomenal. Atomic wings are.. atomically hot! Wings are always fresh and hot made, so that's a plus. read more

I'm disappointed. There was so much hype from neighbors and friends about Wingstop so I decided to part with my usual spot (Buffalo Wild Wings) to get my Thursday wing fix. A simple 8-piece, 2-flavor wing order with a side of fries and a dip...all to-go since I was on my way to the airport. After a 17-minute wait, I get my order and head out. While riding to the airport, I decide to indulge. Fries are there and they look and smell good. The dip is there and it looks very filling. 8 wings are there looking scrumptious. No flavored sauces though. An entire order undone by a lack of attention to detail. It'll be back to my regular routine. Wingstop is just a one stop for me. I will not return. read more

These wings really are the best in the area. I'm not a spicy person, so I can only recommend Lemon-Pepper (my favorite), Hawaiian, Teriyaki, Mild (with extra sauce on the side), and Garlic Parmesan. They all are better "well-done" in my opinion. I would never say that about chicken or meat usually, but this keeps the wings from being soggy. So they're nice and crispy, and the meat stays moist. Their fries are good if you like a more "real" potato taste. Like Thrashers, but with sugar on them. It's a subtle addition, but I love it. It's nice too, that they have the option to get a beer with your wings. I don't, but it sounds like something a lot of people would like. I would suggest calling ahead at least 15 minutes though if you're doing carry-out. They stay pretty busy, so that'll cut your wait time. And if you've been to the Germantown location before, then you'll think this store's atmosphere is much-improved. But the real reason I had to review was because there is an employee there, Brian, that has better customer service than ANY worker I've ever encountered. No exaggeration. Legit five-star hotels/restaurants - their workers have nothing on this guy. He remembers you by name, remembers your preferences, and goes far out of his way to take care of you. They should seriously consider getting him his own franchise location. All in all, great wings, good prices, easy dinner. read more
