We hadn't had kfc in awhile so we went through the drive through and ordered the boxes, one 4 piece chicken, one chicken strips. I also ordered a side of gravy thinking I would get a side of gravy. I hadn't had Kentucky Fried chicken in quite a while, but I was visiting with my kids and none of us felt like going out. They live very close to the Kentucky Fried chicken North Carson Street and so my son ran over and got some food. He got the 12 piece Family order with mixed pieces. macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy, and delicious fluffy biscuits. Everything was delicious, we got the original which was really really good tender and juicy. Quite frankly, I think Kentucky Fried chicken has the best coleslaw of any place in town and their mac & cheese was gooey gooey cheesy delicious. With tax the whole thing came to $40 which was much cheaper for three people plus leftovers for another night then eating out in a regular restaurant. I know people are often times critical about the price but then let's face it folks anywhere you go even your hamburger places are gonna cost you $12-$15 a person if you get a good size meal. It was nice to sit home watch a movie and eat some really good homestyle cooking. Prices are going up everywhere, you can't escape that fact, but we actually have food for five meals which comes out to about $8.00 a person... next time you want something quick and delicious. I waited in line for 20 minutes, but I was ok with that because I know restaurants are having a hard time hiring staff. I asked for an eight-piece meal with no wings, and I was told I would be charged an extra fee for the change. I said no problem. I drove 20 minutes to my home to find I had wings, and I was charged the extra fee. I called to ask for the fee to be refunded, and I was told they could not do that, but I could come back to get more food, or I could receive credit on my next meal. I live in a different town, and I'm never in that area. I went out of my way to go to this KFC because I saw the sign on the freeway. I won't be back, and you can keep your freaking fee. Been going to this particular KFC for the past six years. Last Tuesday my wife stop by to pick up dinner for the family and drove home (22 miles) after work. All the chicken look old and very dried out. I know things happen but they seen this as they put it into the barrel. We got a very large order, chicken strips and legs, thighs and breast. Sorry to say that if this is not corrected, it maybe our last. With the way this is going, we may stop all together. Food is not cheap and we are trying to help the shops and fast food. I'll start by saying that the drive through drive through is fast but I can always count on them to forget the honey. This is unacceptable. For the first time in a while, I decided to go inside in an attempt to bypass the drive through due to the size of the line. I am the only customer inside. I went to order and there was no cashier at the counter and most of the employees were working in the kitchen. I had to get someone's attention before I could get any service and even when I got someone to come up it seemed like the cashier was completely oblivious to the fact I was making an order. She was slow, didn't ask me what side I wanted, and forgot my cup. She even needed help with the computer. All I ordered was a number 4.. This is unacceptable. The food was good and they gave me plenty of honey. I had only wished for better reception. Pretty good KFC. They were fast with getting our food out but the reasons I am only giving 3 stars and not 5 are: 1. They forgot my daughter's juice which ultimately caused a tantrum. 2. The potato wedges were very stale and gross. It's like they had been sitting out for a long while. And 3. I had to ask quite a few times for sauces like honey and ketchup. But the other food we got was pretty good. 'll it is the only KFC close by to me so of course we will be back. Not good, not even close. While I know that fried food is greasy, the chicken here is dripping with grease. Well beyond reasonable. Thank god I got a biscuit with my meal so I had something to wipe my hands on. Let's talk about the clerk, sweeping the floor when I came in, goes behind the register, handles the money then without washing his hands, proceeds to go get my food. Epic fail. I ordered three piece breast and wing extra crispy. I received two thighs and a leg original. The people were nice.

Went there and it took them 30+ minutes to give me my order. I ordered a famous Bowl $5 fillup I received 3 very cold and very old drumbsticks that were basically bite size, the biscut was stale, they gave me a half od a side of cold green beans, and the cookie was folded in half 100% melted. I also did not receive any sort of receipt and when I put my hand out to grab the receipt the cashier looked at me like I was stupid. I will NEVER eat here again. Terrible service read more

Serve old chicken that has clearly been sitting... for those who do not know, chicken builds up bacteria quicker than any other meat and can make you extremely sick with food poisoning. This is KFC, when I want fried chicken In northern Nevada (meaning there's no other choice in this area) I go to KFC. I tend to get family meals and I have always received what I've ordered and on a few occasions this location has provided me with extra chicken and or sides or both for having to wait for chicken. I've experienced Super friendly staff on my take out visits and fresh fried chicken. They will always give you a meal deal if you ask. I do wish they would offer the extra spicy flavor at this location, but it's Carson City where black pepper is considered too spicy for the locals. I'm very happy we have a KFC and I hope Carson City residents continue to support this establishment. read more
