Although I like to tell people that I worked as a barista in college, I usually neglect to mention…read morethe fact that I don't particularly like coffee, and that the job in question was technically an on-campus work-study assignment. Regardless, I sliced deli meats and baked up Otis Spunkmeyer cookies with the best of them, and brewed up the best decaf mocha this side of the smokers' bench. Coffee Shop requirements, compliments of my memory circa 1996: - espresso concoctions - impressive collection of Torani syrups - toasted bagels with cream cheese - various sandwiches, chips and sodas, cookies - low stage area, backed by fake brick mural - fish tank - echoes of Friends episodes gone by It's basic as basic can be, but as business park delis go, and for your extended break-room pleasure, the Recharge Cafe is everything I'd expect. Minus the fake brick mural or fish tank. Which is for the best, believe.

It's main perk is that it is close to two large employers and for one employer there is a direct…read moredoor from the cafe to the employer. I personally don't like coffee, so for me it is hot cocoa and Italian sodas. Their hot cocoa is okay, nothing to write home about. I usually don't buy it for myself, my boss will buy me one, a raspberry hot cocoa. So I usually purchase a raspberry Italian soda. It is very bland, I don't know how you can make these drinks bland. I used to buy their chocolate muffins, but I feel like they are surprise muffins, like they are made from zucchini bread or something. Just like someone is trying to make them a little healthier than they are. So the only thing I'll buy here are their large cookies. My coworker likes their house coffee with steamed milk and I don't think she has ever complained about it. The only thing is that she agrees with me on the chocolate muffins.

Excellent service. Great coffee. Regular food. Transcending decor. Easy parking…read more Following my friend Dennis' recommendations, my wife and I drove to Baristopia to enjoy an afternoon coffee and snack. SERVICE What captivated me at first, beyond the super clean premises with everything neatly organized and accessible, was the friendliest service that included a smile from ear to ear and banter, something I haven't experienced in many months, maybe in a couple of years! To top it off, we didn't wait but 2 minutes after paying, and our entire order was ready! FOOD The espresso double shot was exceptionally delicious. Creamy, foamy, the right balance between sweetness and bitterness. We tried the Blueberry Hand-pie ($5) and it's, as you'd expect, sugary and crunchy, however is no match to the Date Sugar Scone ($4.75) which was highly recommend it, the best in our opinion! The Zucchini muffin ($4.75) is deceiving as it looks like chocolate but it tastes like you're eating healthy. It has little pieces of green something, to demonstrate that it's actually vegan, and probably made by vegans. And the label says that it's vegan. And did I mention that it's vegan?! The Mocha needed sugar to add up to the sugary chocolatey flavor of major coffee shops. Not really my favorite, but then again, I'm here to try real coffee as recommended by my friend Dennis! ENVIRONMENT Super clean and organized. They have an amazing music selection playing and one can bring their coffee home to make, as they have a good selection of whole bean coffee bags from around the world to choose from.

Beautiful interior and spacious, would be a good place to study based off my time there…read more Good coffee However the cashier/barista who served us today was extremely rude and lowkey angry. Felt as if we were an inconvenience, and it really soured my time there.
