Service advisor: Ken Lam did his utmost to ensure my satisfaction in servicing my Lexus

Really awesome place. From the moment I walked on the lot and met Danny, Sales Manager I received excellent customer service. My Rx 450h is my first hybrid and love the savings. Since I've taken my car in for service I've been been dealing with Ken in service each time. It's nice to have the same person to take care of my car. I've never been to a dealership that I had the same service person. It's a very nice touch to costumer service, plus he very professional and helpful with keeping my car maintained ( oil changes, tire rotation, etc.) . Great dealership I would highly recommend and the staff is welcoming, professional and I have received excellent care. Thank you! read more

Thank you Ken Lam! If it weren't for you I would not be returning to Keyes Lexus. I have been going to this location for 7 years because I love my car but never loved the service. You will be the reason why I return. Thank you for your clear concise information and excellent customer service. read more

This is a review for the service department. I bought my car elsewhere but I had to come here twice to get factory recalls taken care of on my car. Everyone I have dealt with are great. From the gentlemen who valet your car, the service advisor & enterprise rental personnel are great. The waiting area inside is spacious, clean & they have self serve starbucks / regular coffee, fruits, water, etc. Danecia was my service advisor today & she is great! Very personable and she was so apologetic when my car wasn't ready as fast as they thought. The young hispanic lady (Unfortunately forgot her name) at Enterprise was very friendly as well. I appreciated how she didn't pressure me to buying the extra coverage insurance for the rental. Overall great experience with the service department. Thanks Keyes Lexus. read more

I Bought a certified used Lexus 10/28/2020. A day later my car breaks started squeaking a lot so I texted the sales rep and told me to bring it back for inspection. I did they tried to tell me it was normal because it was a sport package. (Sounds dumb doesn't it.) After complaining for some time finally the shop Forman said to leave the car overnight which they ended up sanding the rotors and applying quiet solution to the breaks. Invoice #51322. My name was wrong on the paperwork it still had the old owners information. So they were calling the wrong number to notify it was done. I had to call in. I was a bit frustrated but asked them to fix the paperwork. They said it was corrected. 5000 miles after on 03/05/2021 service was due. I made an appointment **DO NOT WORK WITH ALI ALRUBAIE NOR ANTHONY** I come in and he told me I didn't have a service package. I told him I do I had to explain to him when I bought the car and all he kept showing me was the system doesn't show so I asked for a manager. The manager said I am sorry you are not the only one with this problem and proceeded to tell ALI to take the RO to him when he was done and he would sign off on it. I get my paperwork and it has the old owners name again and phone number at this point I'm aggravated with the situation. They said they will fix it again. I told him my phone number again. I dropped off the car on Friday and it had a fuel pump recall so it was going to be ready that day and he would let me know. My rear wheel had a nail in the back which I noticed because the porter took a picture of it. I figured they will call me with a price.I took the rental and went about my business. Monday comes and I haven't heard from him. I called him at 11am and left a voicemail never heard back. I called back around 1pm and he answered so I asked about the status of my car. He said it was done and that he left a voicemail. I asked to what number? So he repeated the old owners number. I was upset at that point. I looked at the paper work and it said they did the recall and check all tires I asked him if they noticed the nail in the back and said there was no nail. I asked for the manager and that manager has no backbone. His employees run him. He didn't offer a solution or tried to help. All he asked ALI was "what happened with his tire?" The said he says it's fixed. Invoice #58416 It sucks that places like this. They work through commission so they don't care for quality customer service. I regret buying my car in this dealership. Finance didn't do their job to change the name nor put my warranty services and now I have to fight with this dealership for what I deserve. I'm not asking for anything free. Save your self the headache and drive a little more to Glendale. I bought my first car there and their service it's great. I regret not buying from them. I asked for a paper that guarantees my information is correct and that Lexus will know I do have my warranty services. And this is what they gave me. You tell me if they are not full of crap. Look at the date printed on the left top corner. This is just a paper that tells me what they have done to the car and it didn't have what they did that day. I can't make this up. read more

Purchased a used car here and wanted to give a shout out to Allen Mark (Product Specialist) at Keyes Lexus. We had been dreading the car buying process for months because of how bad the market had gotten. I won't make any outlandish claims because buying a car is always stressful, so I'll just give the highest possible compliment: Keyes was fair and straightforward. Allen in particular was easy to work with and made the entire process smoother. It seemed like there was no way we would find a car that didn't come with an outrageous markup. Instead, we found a great deal and couldn't be happier. read more

I purchased my new RX450H last year and purchased all added extra services including the anti theft. In February 2021 around 7pm and my car suddenly won't start and i had tow my car to the nearest dealer which is the Woodland Hills which i spent the towing and uber to get to wood land hills dealer. Since it was already late and they were closed, i had to call the following day and they tried to diagnose the car. They found out that the reason the car was disabled is because of the anti theft cable that they installed. Woodland Hillsff dealer charged me for over $600. So i went to the keyes lexus and talked to Alex Ayyoub (GSM) and explained what happened and he stated that he will talked to GM and he will get back to me in 2 days. 4 days had passed and never heard anything from Alex and called and left messages numerous times and never return my call. So i call the GM, Ramin Hakakian and started telling him what happened but he stopped me and started yelling me on the phone and he would not even let me finished and hear the whole story. He was very unprofessional and no sense of customer service and he was telling me that he has been a GM for a long time. I am a GM myself and i know i am not like him who yells at customer on the phone. When i asked him to let me explain and all i want is to get reimbursed of the charges and to reinstall the anti theft coz i paid the anti theft for 5 years. He then said that he will look at it and will get back to me in 2 days. 5 days passed by and no call received. I called him almost every day and left numerous messages but i never get any response back. They have new owner (Lithea Company) and also left messages to call me regarding my complaints but they too failed to return my call. I have been going to keyes lexus for many many years for my services. I hate to leave as i have a great service consultant Ali Alrubaie, he is very professional and great customer service. Please do not go to this lexus dealer to buy a car, they are nice to you when they need you but after you purchased the car, they do not care anymore. Better to go to woodland hills lexus. read more

I came in to get a Lexus IS300. Jordan was the sales man who helped me. He was honest and a cool guy. I told him what I was looking for and what I was working with. He didn't push anything on me. After coming back with the numbers I wanted we were able to make a deal. Customer service was on point as well, from the front desk to the mechanics walking around. Everyone seemed happy and walked around with a smile on their face. read more

i will always come here to get my next car, excellent service, never pushy, and treated me as family, thank you Christian and Mikey!

If I could leave 0 stars I would!! Worst customer service ever!! I've been to multiple dealerships and this is the first time where I leave without purchasing a car. Wasn't even there for 5 minutes and left, not because I wanted to but because of the poor customer service. I get that we are in a pandemic and a lot of dealerships are low on inventory but the fact that they didn't even answer my questions without making me feel bad about the car I wanted. I was even willing to pay over sticker if they had a car similar to what I was looking for, I was open to anything. Was really looking forward to buying my car from here but went to Woodland Hills instead! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE COMING HERE, IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE A WORTHLESS CUSTOMER! read more

I had the most memorable and most amazing experience at this dealer. I had a chance to meet and chat with some really good sales managers Chris Ward and Karin. However, general manager Chris Darby is the man! I spent less time with him and I left so happy and satisfied with what he did for me. What's most important is that he was able to keep the deal, but he also helped me to build my messed up credit. I got the the brand new car. I was extremely satisfied with the deal he got and I am so thankful that I had a chance to meet a really awesome human being Chris Darby! Thank you Keyes Lexus! read more

So happy with my new VW Atlas! Ruman Syed was great to work with. Absolutely no pressure to buy, very friendly, and easy to work with. Showed me all of my options and really took the time to let me figure out what I wanted to do. Also even though I bought a VW at a Lexus dealer, they offered me complimentary maintenance for one year or 15,000 miles, which ever comes first. I did tons of research and the car was priced competitively, in awesome condition, and super clean. I am so happy! read more

DISCLAIMER! God, please help the next person. Stay away! I do not work for Keyes, Yelp or any other car dealers. I work in healthcare and actually care for the well being of patients, so this review is unbiased. I am telling you from experience. Please, stay away. I recently had a bad experience with them that left me with a bitter taste. I have been wanting to post this review since last yea rebut I have been busy with traveling and medical missions. But YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! I even went to the branch manager DAVID KOHAN and he's not any different. By the way if you see PAUL on the sales floor. If I were to guess he's from Ukraine. He's got an accent, looks like a nice guy. You'll get sucked in to his approachable personality. But he will forget about you once he gives you in that binding debt contract. Also, never lease from here and always always get all your agreements with Paul or their sales team on paper. I also referred my co worker here, because my first 4 years with them was great. Then after than huge incident, I saw their identity. I literally felt like a dog being thrown out of a home. My co worker can vouch for this and he'll tell you his story too. If you want to hear the story and pictures and emails, contact me @ejiovskii on Instagram and I will tell you and show you. Here is one thing I can't wrap my mind across. My friend and I got same car, same year. Same package, similar in price $41-43k. I have slightly higher credit score at 720 he's at 700. We both put $1500 down. I'm paying $650 to lease 7500 miles a year He's paying $450 / 7500 agreed but on paper he's only getting 28000 for 4 years, which is 7000. He didn't like that they lies to him and they said they can't help him. I'm just shocked why I'm paying way more. Paul's answer was, every month has different sales. Bruh, you guys invited me to your " November to remember " sales event, which is supposedly Keyes lexus biggest sale of the year. My co worker went on February 11 which is ( inventors day in US, or the feast day of our Lady of Lourdes) for my catholic yelpers. My neighbor just leased a Audi Q5. Same price as the NX300 lexus and his monthly is $470. They also started to harass me with the over mileage fees from my old lease contract. But I told them I was just going to do a buy out so I don't have to return it and pay for the over mileage. I specifically told them I will only trade it in for a new lease if they absorb the over mileage. Jeffrey who was my first sales rep told me yes, there are several ways around it and this was a way to do it if you are over mileage. Paul's words that day on November 24 was, "yes we will cover your last 2 months left on the lease and your over mileage don't worry about it." Little did I know that I was suppose to get that written on the new contract so it's on paper. Then when I went to Keyes regarding this issue. Paul said he doesn't recall helping me since there were plenty customers and there is nothing on contract that states this. Good job on their part, my bad on mines. Never take their word for it. They will do what ever it takes to get that car out of the lot. Do not fall for this. I took a big loss, my co worker took a big loss. He returned his car he following month and absorbed the negative value he had. He said he'll never go to this place again and deal with those kind of people. For me, I'm taking a stand. You guys can take me to collection, but I'm not paying for something I shouldn't be responsible for. Even if the mileage fee was $5.00 or $7,000. I'm going to honor myself and stand my ground to bullies like you guys. If you knew me, you'll know that I'm a careful individual. I knew the circumstance I was in and told them, I'm not stupid enough to trade in my current lease and eat up the over mileage fees. So I rather just finish my 2 months remaining and buy it out. But I fell for their tactics. There might still be a few honest car dealers out there. But I'm telling you. Please, save yourself the hassle. As for me, the damage has been done. But I am warning you, your friends, your colleagues or your family. Stir away from this company. I'm trying to save you. If you're going to get a car, just go to the main dealer. If you think you're not getting the best deal there, you're mistaken. Keyes will just hustle you. Their sales team is highly trained to get you in a deal. But it's not the best deal. They don't care about customers. All they care about is what's the highest monthly lease can they give you so they can get commission. I don't blame them for this. But there are other dealers out there that will give you a better offer and treat you better than they will. Long story short, all car dealers are bad. But stir clear from this one because if car dealers are bad, Keyes Van Nuys Lexus is just nasty + dreadful. read more

This past Saturday I was in Van Nuys to get my car worked on at a dealer on the blvd. My girlfriend and I had some time to kill so we decided to check out some of the other car dealers in the area. She was in the market for a new car but we never discussed it thoroughly. We walked passed Keyes Lexus and decided to see some of the cars on the lot. We were approached by a salesman named Isaiah Thurman. He asked if we had any questions or if we had any specific vehicles we were looking for. My girlfriend had been driving SUV's for as long as I have know her so naturally we narrowed down the choices to the Lexus NX and the RX. Isaiah allowed us to test drive both cars. The RX was definitely the winner among the two. We went inside to work out some numbers. Isaiah introduced us to his colleague Karim Sahnoun. He was able to get us the deal that we were looking for that allowed us to utilize my girlfriends old SUV as part of the deal. Both Isaiah and Karim were super helpful and very professional. Not once did we feel intimidated or pressured into the deal. I had never considered Lexus in the past but the experience at Keyes made me change my mind. Thanks to Isaiah and Karim we drove off the lot with a branch new car. When my current lease ends I will be utilizing Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys as my dealer of choice. Thanks for making the car shopping experience a pleasant one. read more

2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 144/365 I've decided to update my review and dock two stars, because I did not enjoy my last visit to Keyes Lexus. I have a leased 2013 CT200h which I got from a different dealership last year. However, I later moved to Sherman Oaks and started going to Keyes Lexus for my periodic services because it was the closest Lexus dealership near me. A few weeks ago, Keyes Lexus called me and informed me that it was about time to get my 10,000 mile service done, which I thought was pretty cool because they had it in their system that I was ready for it. They also said that this service would be complimentary/free of charge, which was a pleasant surprise because I thought that my 5,000 mile service was the only one that was complimentary. When I came in to get my 10,000 mile service, I was helped by Linda Nelson who was AWESOME. She was super personable, and made it a quick and easy process for me. I will definitely be asking for her during my next service and highly recommend her! I asked Linda if I could test drive some new cars since I was thinking about leasing another Lexus when my lease ended...NEXT YEAR. She gladly referred me to some of their salespeople who could help me. Now here's where everything went downhill...and I ended up being stuck at the dealership MUCH LONGER than I had planned. All I wanted to do was test drive the f-sport version of the CT200h to compare to my base model CT200h, AND perhaps test drive the IS250, which I have also been considering as my next car. However, the salespeople kept bugging me, saying that they could give me a great deal if I completely terminated my current lease (with another dealership, I might add) and leased a brand new car with them THAT VERY DAY. Uhh...THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID! I said that all I wanted to do was test drive some cars so that when the time comes and my lease ends in MAY 2015 (WELL OVER A YEAR FROM NOW), I may consider leasing another car. Another sales girl I worked with had come to the assumption that I was literally there to lease another car that day. She was seriously misinformed because I was only there to 1) get my car serviced, which really was my main priority, and 2) perhaps test drive some cars while I was waiting for my car to finish. I had NO intention of getting a car that day, yet everybody there either assumed I was there to trade in, or thought they could rope me into getting a new car that very day. It was super frustrating and I was getting really annoyed. One lady said she could give me a FULLY LOADED CT200h for zero down, $279-289 a month. I was very skeptical and thought this was too good be true. She was convinced she could give it to me for that much because she could use some of the money that was put into my current lease into a new one. I told her to show me some numbers on paper to see if this deal is really legit. She took me to her office, and we started going over some forms so she could give me a price estimate. For some reason, she asked me if I COULD put down a down payment today, how much could I give. I was confused because literally just a few minutes ago she said she could give me a fully loaded CT with NO down payment for less than $300/month. Since I had NO intention whatsoever of getting a car today or giving a down payment today, I gave her a very low $ number. Then she asked me what my top monthly payment would be, and I told her $300. She pushed for $330 and I was hesitant but I said whatever. The lady came back a few minutes later...and gave me a price estimate of $387 A MONTH! WTFFFFF! AND that was with the small down payment I said I COULD potentially offer. I could not believe it. Originally she tells me that she can give me a fully loaded CT for zero down, $279-289/month, and now she tells me that she can give it to me for a few hundred dollars down payment AND $387/month. Umm...ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! You seriously need to re-evaluate your pricing skills because that is COMPLETELY off. My car service was only supposed to take 60-70 minutes, yet these salespeople kept me at the dealership for THREE HOURS. AND they didn't even let me test drive any cars, which is really all I wanted to do while waiting for my car to be serviced. I was absolutely livid. Because I spent so much time at the dealership, I was also late to an appointment I had down in Orange County that afternoon. Thanks, Keyes Lexus, but now I know I will definitely not be leasing a new car with you. I will stick to the dealership who got me my current car because they were the nicest people I've ever met, and gave me a KILLER deal. I am very certain that Keyes Lexus would never be able to match what I have now. 2 stars left for a great service department. Negative 2 stars for shady salespeople. read more

Buying a car can be a very unpleasant, confusing and laborious process. Especially walking in alone, as a woman. Gary Berndt, the Internet Sales Manager at Keyes navigated those murky waters with aplomb. His skills, his humor and his relaxed confidence in the product all made for a great experience. I walked in merely to test drive another make to compare to the car I was planning to buy ( somewhere else). What a surprise! The process was easy, casual, even fun! Most importantly, I was out of there in record time with a great car at a phenomenal price. I highly recommend this dealership. read more

I refuse to do any business with Keyes Lexus. They were very unhelpful when it came time to return my old RX after my lease was over. I didn't end up purchasing my new lease from them because Woodland Hills Lexus gave me a significantly better deal for my new NX Fsport. I purchased my new vehicle a few weeks before my RX lease was over and decided not to switch in my old car the same day I purchased my new NX. When came time to return my previous lease, I went to Keyes because they are the closest location to me. They told me they were unable to take my car because, "they had no room". So a week later prior to going in, we called Keyes, spoke to someone who got an approval from someone else saying it's okay to take in the car to return it that evening. We got there about 15 minutes after getting off the phone. And when my husband went inside to drop off the keys, they would not take in the car AGAIN. Due to, " not having space". Prior to calling in Keyes Lexus we had called Lexus financial and were told we can drop off the old car at any of their locations. So when Keyes decided not to help us, we ended up driving to Woodland Hills. That's when we understood Keyes was just bitter because we didn't make the new lease through them, therefore they didn't care to assist us. Worst of all they were not even apologetic about the refusal. read more

This is for the service department at Keyes Lexus. Based on how they treated my mom, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. First off, they somehow managed to crash (yes, you read right, CRASH) my mom's brand new Lexus SUV when she took it in for the first oil change. I don't even know how that's possible. Secondly, when they gave the car back to my mom, they basically told her that all they could do was apologize and fix the damage (more on this later). My mom had to argue and fight tooth and nail to get an extended oil change plan (40,000 miles vs. the usual 10,000 miles). After three unsuccessful trips, the damage they caused from the crash has finally been fixed...by a third party body shop. Yep, the Lexus service team couldn't even fix their own car that they damaged. Additionally, they drove over a screw when they last tried to fix the damage and when my mom brought it up, they denied all fault and made her pay for a new tire (even though the tire was leaking air when she picked the car up). If you're paying for a luxury vehicle, it should be expected that the service would be at the same level. With this experience, I do not recommend Keyes Lexus to anyone. read more

Horrible, horrible customer service. Went with my dad here to lease a Lexus, and we drove a Honda to the dealership. Not even a honda in bad condition, a 2013 Honda Civic, completely fine and great car. But beside the point. So we park and walk up to this tall, conceded looking oaf. And my dad tells him that he's interested in leasing a Lexus and he wants to know what the deals are. And this pompous ass, starts laughing and telling him the deals like he can't afford them, and making it completely obvious that he thinks we can't afford one. Absolutely painful to watch. Needless to say, we left and leased our Lexus from the dealership in Beverly Hills. Much better service, without the condescending attitude!! Don't know how that employee even has a job there! read more

I had an experience similar to other reviewers. After Christmas last year (2008), I decided to take advantage of the economic downturn and my misfortune with my BMW repair bills and trade in for a Japanese luxury car. Keyes Lexus was my second dealer and I went only because it was close. I told them I was looking for a 2008 IS 250 and I wanted to trade in my 3 series. They took my keys to do an appraisal and took me on a test drive. Fine. Then I wanted to know the lowest price they were willing to offer me on my preferred specs (nav and luxury package - not picky about color). Then came the show. Nelson Petrosyan couldn't give me numbers, only the sales manager could. So I waited for this guy (Edward). He wanted to know about payments. I told him I was probably going to pay cash, just give me the out the door price. A lot of hemming and hawing, and he went back to wherever folks go to come back with a price about 4K above what I was willing to pay. He tries to get me on payments, wants me to fill out a credit application. I told him honestly I'm a writer with no dependable income. My husband will come back to purchase the car for me - I just need the price. More hemming, he writes the price in tiny letters on a manila folder and shows me (he's down 2K). No good, I say. And what about the trade in. Oh, that's handled by another guy. He goes away for many more minutes. I'm on my third bottled water by now and have used the ladies room twice. He comes back with a low ball trade-in (I already had a much better deal from Carmax). Fine, I said - no trade in - what's the price? He said if I brought in my husband and was really ready to deal - then he'd come down another $1400. WTF?? Yes my husband will be buying me the car, but c'mon. I wanted prices and quotes to save me and hubby time when we actually did get the car. And yes, I had to twist arms to get my keys and license back from these folks. Needless to say I purchased elsewhere for $600 less. So they called for several days - only to hang up on me when I told them I purchased a Lexus from another dealership. Since this is my local service center, I hope that experience is much better. read more

Just like the Vista Lexus in Woodland Hills, this place is small and crowded. The Persian salesman was such a "salesman"! Like wow, he must think I was dumb or something. I imagine girls who get hit on by the same pickup lines all the time probably felt the same way I did. It's so obvious when they try a cliche salesline. Here's a big tip for all. When you shop for a car, use carsdirect.com and then call any dealer and ask for the INTERNET SALES DEPARTMENT. That department will beat the carsdirect.com price right away and you would have gotten a rock bottom price without haggling. You can go to the dealership to check out the car but always purchase through the internet sales department. TRUST ME! read more

Hate this Dealership. The salesman are really pushy and unprofessional. I would advice people to stay away from here. I wouldn't let me leave the damn place, the manager would keep talking to me and trying to make to me close the deal on that day. However, I had to leave the dealership because I got some emergency call from the hospital. But these A-holes, wouldn't let me leave the dealership and want me to buy the car from them at that moment. I told them i need to go to hospital because I got called in. You guys are very unprofessional. When I get called in from the hospital, it usually means that the patient is in a severe condition that requires my presence at the hospital. The only way I was able to leave the dealership was yelling at them. I have never wrote a angry review on Yelp until today. I got my car from Jim Falks Lexus at Beverly Hills instead. read more

This place is awesome, got my last 2 cars here and they always give the best price! I got both of the cars below invoice and I was in and out within 3 hours (if you've purchased cars before you'll know that's a pretty decent amount of time). When you come here ask for Gary Berndt, he's straightforward and will work with you to get you your car. He promised to give me a great price before I test drove my RX350, and right after he kept his word. Buying that RX350 was the easiest experience I've had and I bought over a handful of cars. Also I've had both BMW and Audi, and I can honestly say that a Lexus is money well spent. It's got both the luxury of an Audi and the sportiness of a BMW without the $$$ for maintenance. read more

I brought my car for a scheduled maintenance service 3/7/2022. Ken my service advisor was very friendly and communicated the whole process of the service clearly. read more
