Justin Kevin and henry have been absolutely fantastic while I was in between paychecks. They allowed the towing company to bill them while I got financing did exceptional service and are always welcoming. Pricing is fair not the cheapest however when it comes to car care, especially on an older vehicle, I would never go for the cheapest I would always go for middle to higher tier. These guys are awesome! I had an issue with my truck that needed fixed asap! I found them by chance, calling around another repair shop recommended them. They got my truck in right then, had a general diagnostic done within the 2 hours before they closed. Work started and finished in 1 day! Eco diesel trucks are known for being a pain to fix anything because you have to remove so much. I had a different repair shop work on it before, took them 2 weeks, and didn't even fix the problem. Justin, the manager, kept me updated the whole time. Sent pictures, videos, and let me know what was urgent vs what still needs addressed but doesn't need to be this moment. Would never use this shop ever again. Sloppy work and ripped me off an oil change. 2018 F150 XLT. They had me pick it up said it was completed and come to find out later I was having my truck looked at by Ford and that's when they told me my oil was very dirty. I explained I only had 200 miles on the oil that supposedly was changed by Kerry's. I had Ford give me a sample of dirty oil took it back to Kerry's and they admitted they failed their service. I paid them to replace and install one headlight, within one week both headlights quit shining through appropriately. Looked at it myself and they hadn't secured the new headlight into place so it had fallen out and began to burn hole in rubber guard. They obviously had checked the other headlight as well as it also had not been secured in place and slipped back same as the other. I just had to reach in myself and put them into the right place and secure them by rotating and securing in. WOW!! There are still honest car shops and this one is was amazing! My car was towed there after my skid plate buckled underneath my car to where I was unable to drive it. Henry gave me a call to let me know that they removed it and my car was ready to be picked up. I asked what would be the charge, he replied there won't be a charge as it didn't take time at all to remove it. I can't say enough how shocked I was to hear that! I came across these guys about a year ago. I have a 12 yo van that is used to tote about 600 extra pounds of electric wheelchairs for twins. I appreciate guys like Justin and what they do. I have yet to bring it in and not be explained and shown exactly what needs to be done. At places like Big O every time I brought it in for an oil change I also "desperately needed" other work. Shocks, struts, alignment whatever. It was always something with no proof of anything. No pics of wear & tear. Nada. None was every really needed after taking it to a different shop much further away. Kerry's shows me pictures of what's wrong and what really needs to be repaired both immediate and then down the road. Alright, so I went here to get estimates of 5 different services which I wanted to do for my car. Moved to this neighborhood recently and got their pamphlets in mail with lot of claims related to prices and competitive services. But quote by them was $850 whereas Joe's auto gave just $500 for same services. Both are family owned. Difference is Kerry's booth customer service was excellent and guy was super active and precise in providing details but just can't give more ratings because of their prices. I believe business should only claim when they have proper research data. It was disappointing visiting here. When prices are so high then you won't feel to negotiate prices on comparing with others. read more

These guys are located in Deer Valley and I happen to live in the gated community apartment area right behind their shop so this was super convenient. They also offer shuttle service to and from their shop so that helps too. They got my car running like new. They replaced my alternator, swapped out my battery, got an oil change and fixed some loose wiring under the hood. I signed up for the financing option as I didn't exactly have $1000 cash laying around and it was simple. Sign up online, get approved, and pay 90 days same as cash with no interest. These guys did the work and explained everything prior to work approval. This place gets super busy as I observed customers coming in and going out for various vehicle work. The only thing I'd give feedback about is that they do get busy to the point that I had to call them myself on the work progress as the times that they said they would call me, they didn't. These guys are professional, they are friendly and will give you expert care for your vehicle. I will definitely come here again. All their work is guaranteed by certified licensed mechanics. Give them a try and you'll get professional service and thorough car care. They will run a carfax on your vehicle to make sure that scheduled maintenance is handled properly which I thought was great to know. read more

Well let me explain about the terrible experience here. I have a custom lowered 55 Bel Air hot rod that's lowered 3 inches first of all. I talked to a nice gentleman TJ at the lake pleasant and 82nd avenue last week to come in to have my brakes bled on my hot rod..... Well here's where the nightmare starts I call the next morning to confirm my appointment and TJ's not there and talk to a rude customer service person and put me on hold over 10 minutes and disrespectful over the phone and like stay interrupt you when you're trying to talk. So I called another location to get a general manager or directors to contact me to make a complaint. A district manager did call me/ operations manager and I gave him the complaint about how rude this person was and put me on hold twice for over 10 minutes. So I set up another appointment at another location today on April 30th 2024 to show up at 10:00 in the morning and I get there and they can't get my car up on alignment rack and they don't have the boards that you put in front of the alignment ramps so you can pull up in a lowered car onto it. So another wasted morning this morning wasted gas and time off work....I'm driving an $80,000 car with half the brakes that makes me really feel comfortable. The manager did state that I should go back to lake pleasant location. So I decided to go back to the lake pleasant and 82nd location and talk to Alex explain the situation with him just trying to bleed my brakes trying to get the car up on a alignment rack. Tell him to take the emergency brake off how to drive the car around.... Nobody took the emergency brake off the car is ready to stall because it's a six-speed manual leave the mechanic left the brake on when he's trying to move it into a four-post lift Bay when I said this car is not going to work with a four post hydraulic lift..... You can clearly see my stainless steel exhaust tips in front of the rear tire so there's no way an arm can go in there to lift up the car first of all. Alex doesn't spot that post my car into a bay with the hydraulic four post lift. Meanwhile the mechanic disappears I don't know what the hell's going on with Alex .....he looks like he's running around with his head cut off. When I got there there was no cars on the alignment rack and I waited 20 minutes and finally another car pulled up on the alignment rack so I now I know I'm not putting my car on the alignment rack.... Plus the macro tool box guy was there with his truck and all the mechanics are sitting in there buying tools and wasting other customers time. Nothing but bad customer service here and terrible employees... I would not recommend bringing your car or to the other locations/ this location only has three stars . I am so disgusted with this place and driving around wasting $50 in gas and two days of work I took off and this is costing me over $250 Warning warning warning WARNING . I chose to go to Kerry's Car Care based on an ad I received in the mail with a $19.95 plus tax synthetic oil change. I made a 9:00 AM appointment, showed up on time, told Kevin what oil change I wanted for my vintage Ford Thunderbird and was told it would take an hour, possibly less. At 10:10 AM I left the waiting room to see what was holding things up. I explained to Kevin that I had a 10:30 physical therapy appointment and didn't have time to discuss anything else that Kerry's mechanics believed the car needed. That did not deter Kevin for going through all the front end work that was needed at a cost of over $2700 that he wanted to address at that time. Again, I let him know that time was of the essence. It was now nearly 10:30, and I called the physical therapist office to let them know that I would be late, even though I scheduled the oil change for nine am. As pleasant as I could be, I let Keven know that I just wanted to pay for my oil change and go to my appointment. He handed me the invoice for over $48.00. I questioned the amount based on the oil change special and he stated that I requested a full synthetic oil change, which was not the case. After his rebuttal, I requested an invoice for the $19.95 plus tax synthetic blend so I could pay my bill and be on my way. (At this point the hood of my T'Bird was still up and they had yet to add the oil...) He stated that the $48 price was in the system and could not be changed. (Which is complete nonsense). He then handed me a coupon for another future oil change, as if I would have any interest in returning. Disgusted with the entire experience I paid the bill and was over 30 minutes late for my appointment. Incidentally, the $2700 worth of work included a part that had just been replaced by my mechanic and the remainder was twice the cost I had been quoted elsewhere. Needless to say, I regret not checking Yelp before going to Kerry's for service. A major mistake on my part. As others have stated, based on my experience, Kerry's Car Care should be avoided at all costs. read more

I've been coming to this Kerry's for 2 years now and I'm never going to another mechanic. I've used them for oil changes to brake line work, and I'm very happy with the service they've provided. There's a great atmosphere when I drop off and pick up, Justin always explains things to me in a way that makes sense and isn't degrading (I'm not a car person by any means), and I trust them not to upsell me on a service I don't need (that's hard to find!!). They're farther away since I've moved, but I still bring both of my vehicles to this location because it's so worth it! read more

We've been customers for several years because we initially liked the customer service provided. Before they have even comped an oil change because our vehicle was in for other things and their lack of communication delayed picking up the vehicle for a few days. In that situation, they did not provide an accurate repair timeline, did not communicate delays, and never called back when they said they would. We got an oil change before taking a road trip. I brought the car back after the trip because I noticed something dripping from the undercarriage. They let me know that transmission fluid had been leaking for awhile. Somehow that went unnoticed before the road trip. And now again they lack the ability to call a customer back when they say the will. This is the only car we have and while I'm not asking to be updated every minute of the repairs, they need to realize that having your only car in the hands of people who don't update you at all is an awful feeling. This place is a predatory joke. Quoted us *significantly* more than the Toyota dealership for an alternator replacement. No thanks.

They completely ruined my car and tried to charge me for the repairs. Brought it in for an oil change and that's when all of the problems started - my car started smoking, we took it to BMW and the said oil was leaking into my engine, and needed to replace the oil supply lines. We brought it back to Kerry's and they "fixed" everything they caused, and magically spotted tons of issued BMW happened to miss - we declined to pay for the other fixes. Thousands later, the car was STILL smoking - brought it in THREE more times and nothing was getting fixed. Finally brought it in one last time and they essentially said I needed a new engine/turbo as the leaking oil had ruined both. They tried to charge us again (tens of thousands) for this despite them causing everything with a free oil change months before - so we had to get a new car. I'm sure this place is fine for older cars but I've talked to friends, the second they see a luxury car they magically find a bunch of problems and In my case, cause them. I am by no stretch a mechanic and always nervous dropping car off because they can say anything and I have no basis to go off of. We dropped off vehicle that needed a lot of work. James was our main point of contact and was extremely professional the entire time. The app they have that shows you everything they are doing is nice, with pictures. He explained in great detail what was going on. The car also needed to be smogged and they took it down the street for us to get that done. They have nothing but scammed my entire family for both of the cars I own. The latest was that they knew this amazing rim guy to fix my charger. They had it for almost 7 days. I was the one that had to call tech day. The guy got the paint wrong, then they told me, not called me that they had to break the wheel lock and I was told that I would get it replaced. Never happened. I just went there and they told me that since they couldn't find my wheel lock it was my responsibility to get the wheel lock they had to crack to get my tire off. If they would have called me at all I'm sure I could have gone to the dealer to get one, which was not given to me for my car. Their poor customer service on top of lack of communication to me the customer is beyond frustrating. I will never go here again nor recommend this company to anyone. Now I'm out $35 for a new wheel lock on my new car. I should have gone to the dealer and now I know better. Shame on them for even trying to do this to a woman. They definitely played me. Checked in and asked if the part was in and was told they had a shel of them. 45 mins later I get told they had the wrong part and it was not for an AWD vehicle. I drive a Subaru and they only make one non-AWD car that doesn't even look like mine. The shop has my make model and year. They do this for a living and should get it right. Part finally arrived from the dealer and they charged $300 for a 30 min job and a $50 part. This, just after they negotiated with a guy to get his price down. Hollywood couldn't compare to these individuals. First visit ever, so friendly and professional until I realized that the time frames weren't adding up and there were always something else wrong, every time someone answered the phone they would have different story just more exaggerated than the previous one and so on. Everything they've "done" to my vehicle was paid in full, no credit ever, no waiting nor bank issues. But, the question is, if anything was ever done!? Not to mention turbocharger 2 times , gasket 2 times - due to their slack job , crankcase yet again 2nd time due to them screwing up the first job, major leaks which they were fast to charge me before diagnosed my turbocharger issue to begin with, so many more leaks and worst ones after first oil change as I yet again gave them a chance, hoping they'll be as half loyal as this customer they LOST. I finally had enough and took my vehicle elsewhere and made an appointment for new tires with an amazing and trusted shop, to be asked for my wheel lock key , drove all the way back to these people who did my tires rotation before to be told that I never had one, yet I KNOW there was one next to my spare. This key they took is just the one of many such as broken bolts, turbocharger forcefully ripped, thrown skid plate without calling me to let me know they forgot to put it back, many screws and what not rolling under my windshield speaking of windshield which they also cracked while test driving and tried to get away with, and I could go on. I HAD IT when Jose Hierro started pushing for another service as he said "CV AXLE especially the left one is greasy and needs to be done needles to say he told me that I am looking at another $700 and some before even getting to his computer. " , I told him both boots were done in VW Peoria , brand new, he then started accusing them as "Did they ever!?" , all this paranoia from all of your own lies huh!? CV AXELS are both new and JUST FINE, no replacement needed, once again - nice try! Also that day when Justin Allen, one of the reps. went to call tire shop to consult regarding "wheel lock" , to find out later from tire shop reps. that he called them and basically threatened: "Just sell her those tires and have her bring it here. She is a high maintenance." Like someone gave him permission to speak in my name!? Who you think you are!? Oh guess what!? YES I AM, for such a liars and thieves, wasn't enough of a high maintenance to never come back to this place! Disgusted. read more

Tuesday to make a Saturday appointment so they could order the correct part and have it ready. checked in and asked again if they have the part. was told the have a whole shelf of them. waited and about 45 mins later the clerk (yeah, clerk) came in and said they had the wrong part. it was for the rear wheel drive version and not AWD.
