Good coffee and breakfast to support a non-profit. The atmosphere was very community embracing.

This is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops I've visited while on vacation. The shop has a beautiful river view and also offers really cute boutique-style gift items for purchase, which added to the overall charm. I came here twice a day during my trip, and every afternoon I treated myself to an iced mocha and they honestly have the best iced mocha I've ever had from a coffee shop. To top it all off, they make their own homemade whipped cream, which was amazing. I only had a couple minor issues during my visits. One time, the barista seemed a little distracted and left the espresso shot sitting on top of the milk a bit too long, so it tasted slightly burnt. It was still enjoyable though. Another small thing was that one of the employees who rang me up a few times wasn't especially friendly. Neither issue was enough to dock any stars because overall this place was wonderful. The coffee, atmosphere, and view made it one of the highlights of my trip and honestly one of the reasons I don't want to leave!

I heard that the mochas were great and so I got a snickers mocha with oat milk- it was good and had the perfect amount of sweetness. There was a small line but it was bustling inside.

It's pretty small inside and definitely has an antique shop feel. There's lots of different styles and things around. There are a few small tables scattered throughout. The lady at the front was very kind and happy to walk us through their options. They have one small case that's mostly savory and one small case that's sweets with a tiny truffle case on the counter. I think the move here is the cinnamon roll, but when we arrived they were still baking, which meant it smelled delightful, but were weren't able to try one. We ended up trying the breakfast muffin, which was really unique. It's a muffin with cheese and spinach baked in, along with an entire strip of bacon just under the surface, and an entire egg baked in the middle. It was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. I'm not usually a scone fan, I prefer a muffin, but their scones looked good. We tried the blueberry lemon and the cranberry orange. They were both really flavorful with a good texture, not super dry. The blueberry edged out the cranberry for me because the blueberries were fresh, whereas the cranberry were dried. This is a cute small shop, clearly making everything from scratch with passion. I'd stop back in for a cinnamon roll for sure!

My wife's parents highly recommended this place, so we decided to meet them here while we were in…read morethe area. It's located in what appears to be a historic building right on Main Street in Brownsville, OR. There are two entrances, but when we arrived, there was a note directing guests to use the Main Street entrance. We showed up in the early afternoon, which was after breakfast service ends at 11 a.m. That left us choosing from their lunch offerings--sandwiches, salads, and soups. There are about ten sandwich options plus a "create your own," several salads, and a couple of soup choices. The atmosphere is very laid-back. You order at the counter, and they bring your food out when it's ready. Despite the relaxed vibe, the place was quite busy. We saw a steady stream of people coming and going, and the four or five indoor tables were occupied most of the time we were there. As a group, we ordered a variety of sandwiches, a salad, and a bowl of soup--and everything exceeded our expectations. The soup was incredibly thick, almost like a casserole. The sandwiches were hearty and filling, and the salad was fresh and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed every bite and would absolutely return. They also have ice cream and huckleberry milkshakes (We absolutely love huckleberry milkshakes) in another area of the building, which were very tempting--but we managed to resist this time.
