Justin at Ken's locksmith saved me after being scammed by a locksmith I found on Google. The other locksmith quoted me a price than charged me seven times the price quoted demanding cash before he would leave my house. Never use a locksmith with no brick and mortar store-sadly I learned the hard way! I immediately went to Ken's Locksmith and Justin came to my house. I was scammed out of more than just money, my safety too. My 5 tumbler locks only had 3 tumblers and all old and used after being scammed. Justin repaired my locks and rekeyed properly with all new tumblers. I now feel safe again after going to Ken's Locksmith and they charged me a fair price-one third of the scammed locksmith. I've used Ken's several times over the years for key duplication and, in fact, once they duplicated an ignition key for my 1957 Chevrolet pickup and refused to take any payment! Well, over the years I've always shown my appreciation by giving them 100% of my business. Nearly 7 years ago we moved into our new home and the previous owner or a contractor, did an extremely shoddy job of installing latch/deadbolt and dummy handle. I had the ability to secure the latch (KwikSet) several times and finally gave in and went to Ken's. Well, now I have a brand new lock/latch and dummy handle that not only looks secure and sturdy but looks . I am disappointed in the quality of work and the lack of support this company provides. When we called to let them know that the work they did less than a few weeks back for which they charged an exorbitant amount, we were directed to the owner. He called back and started on the offensive telling us that we had a poor product installed in our home and hence they could do nothing but lubricate the lock for us. They charged us $195 for lubricating, didn't tell us that was all that they had done, collected cash and left us with the belief they had resolved the issue. Now we are told that all they did was lubricate a lock and it would cost us twice that to change locks. In the times we are in where all of us are struggling, practices like this makes it so much harder to get by. Very disappointed!! read more

This locksmith was very good and professional. I needed to rotate two KwikSet Handles so teh cylinder was in the correct postion and the gentleman helped me out and it took him maybe one minute. I got a few keys made here and it was fast and efficient service. I would say that if you're going to get a clicker / remote for your garage or condo complex, to order somewhere else instead. They wanted to charge me $45 for one clicker and I looked online and found 5 clickers / remotes for $25 (exact same clicker). Overall though, great service to get keys made. read more

I went in to get my car key programmed and key cut, their machine wasn't charged so I waited for an hour to have them charge the machine, when they went to program the key they still couldn't program my key. When we moved there was one key that actually worked. The other keys the landlord gave us were bent and useless. So we made new ones from Home Depot. Discovered an in ground locked safe in home during floor renovations and needed someone fast to open it up. Called and immediately got someone on the line, provided photos and got a competitive price quote and was able to get a locksmith a few hours later. Someone recommended this place when we had to repair our door handles and locks. Our door is a vintage model and every new model we tried from Home Depot and other shops did not work. The other option was almost replacing the entire door, until we came to Ken's. The response rate via Yelp/Email was pretty decent. I emailed back photos of the needed repair and we were offered the option to bring it over and it was repaired complimentary since it just needed some tweaking. Other locksmiths were ready to charge us between $150-$350 to create an entire new set for our outdated door, but this was amazing, swift and cost effective. Highly recommend! read more

I had gotten many basic keys made at Home Depot and Lowe's and both places were unable to accurately copy my keys. It was very frustrating getting the run around. I was hesitant to go to a locksmith because I thought it would cost me an arm and a leg. I have passed by Ken's Locksmithery many times, so I decided to go in and see how much it would cost me. Jesse greeted my and he helped me out with about 8 keys. He was so patient and friendly. The price was comparable to Home Depot and Lowe's, BUT Ken's Locksmithery was accurate!!! Every last one of my keys worked! Later, the same day, I went back to have a few more keys made. I realized after the fact that it was really close to closing time when I went in the second time. I hate being that person, but Matt didn't treat me like an inconvenience. He was so kind and considerate. I highly suggest not coming in close to closing because it is a jerk move doing that at any business. I will say that customer service and efficiency mean a lot to me and this place is amazing! I am so glad that I found this place. I will never go to a hardware store again for having keys made. I bought a travel trailer and was provided the wrong key to the utility compartments. The only option was a locksmith. Ken's was able to cut a key without a master. It took 15 minutes. I purchased on line from Mopar parts a locking gas cap. It came with a gas cap and a lock cylinder. The lock cylinder needed pins and spring to make it fit my ignition key. They were able to do that while I waited (3 to 5 minutes). That is what I call service! read more

I'm 19, I have a project car with a lot of issues, it being 22 years old, a lot has been changed. Jason was the coolest and most helpful locksmith I've done business with. I had a ton of issues and was even ripped off by another locksmith (NOT KENS) the guy broke a key in my driver door and claimed "someone put glue in your locks" and then charged me $100. After finding out the doors on my 1999 are from another car being a 2000, it explains why the original key, cut from vin, doesn't work on the doors. Which if the locksmith that came to me (NOT KENS) noticed the different vin # on my door it would've been solved. Throughout the issues, I kept Jason from Kens, up to date with what information I gathered, he told me to bring everything and he would get it worked out. AFTER IT ALL, I have two working door locks, a rekeyed trunk lock and a working glovebox lock ALL TO ONE SINGLE KEY... I found this locksmith on Apple maps and had 4 keys made. I drove home tried to use them and none worked. I returned to then store and was told that for him to know what is wrong with the keys I would have to bring the locks in. I told him it is my front door and I can't just undo the door handle lock and the deadbolt and bring them in. The guy said he will be right back, I waited about 6 minutes or so, he cake out with a lock of Some sorts and told me "I made a lock that takes these keys that I had made you AND they work just fine. I felt like really? Seriously? Like I have nothing better to do then to have keys made and take them home get super frustrated about them not working and bring them back to have you tell me they work in his lock!!! I was given the keys back and told that's that! He would have to have my locks to figure Out what's wrong with my locks. I spent $13 on non working keys... I don't have time to be running around trying to get the correct keys made. Needless to say I would not go back and I would not recommend this locksmith due to the poor customer service along with the Orderly ridiculous statement of telling me to bring my locks in there my front door locks that's not feasible how do you do that?
