Omar does not honor the warranty on key fobs purchased through him. In May 2025, I purchased 2 keys fobs for my truck for $250. Omar said the warranty on the fobs was good for 1 year. In March 2026, the fobs stopped working properly. When I went to Omar, he initially said he would charge $125 to replace them but I insisted they were under warranty so he eventually said he would order 2 new keys. When I went back to get the new key fobs. He proceeded to reprogram the old ones (which still didnt work properly) and give me a third key that was not the right type. When reminded that he was not honoring the warranty and providing 2 new fobs like had said he would, he replied that the dealer would charge more. And when I pointed out that the new fob wasn't even the right one, he said that was all he had. I feel scammed by Omar who did not honor his warranty and did not live up to what he said he would do. I would not recommend using Omar and Golden Locks at all. Despite your response Omar, the fact remains you failed to honor your initial statement that you would order 2 new key fobs, since both fobs were under warranty. Known issue aside, if the product is under warranty, then honor that warranty and provide a full in-kind replacement. You said you would order two and never did. Thats not acting in good faith. And then you only provided one key instead of two, since both fobs stopped working, and that fob did not have all the functions and is not a true replacement. And to expect me to accept the loss of the remote start function (which I actually use) is ridiculous. Honoring your warranty should not be a "courtesy" but instead an essential part of any business operating with integrity. You did not live up to your word and you did not honor your warranty. read more

Amazing service! Car got broken into through the lock a long time ago. Came in to get a new battery for my key (I was doing it for years). He advised me that it doesn't look like it's the key and gave me a quote for a new lock and key that connects to the sensor. Thank Goodness for Omar @ Golden Locks Inc!! On a desperate Saturday afternoon, and holiday weekend!!! EASTER WEEKEND- My car key fob had been acting up for a few weeks, but that day, it decided it wanted to lock me out completely! Unacceptable!!! So, I called my local car dealership first, it was about 1:12PM. They were Completely NO Help, they closed at 2PM and were not accepting anymore service orders. So then, I called AAA for a referral/ reference. Had to wait for a callback from the company they suggested. They connected me to a locksmith who said they could not help me because they were in RIVERSIDE (NOT LOCAL AT ALLLL!!) and that "my issue was not an emergency". They could only assist if I was in a "real true emergency, thats how AAA helps, in emergency situations only"...Really. Well, it sure as heck was an "emergency" to me... It's getting later and later on a Saturday holiday weekend, and I've got NO help yet. After a half frantic Yelp and Google search, I ended up calling five places- One guy was nice, with fair pricing, but he was currently at OC Orange Co. swapmeet working at a booth and I would have to come to him by 2:45PM. Another place referred me to call a company in Los Alamitos. I did not. Another guy couldn't do it, so he referred me to another man who was confusing, hard to understand, and expensive. He quoted me different prices and scenarios, said the work was "not guaranteed" also, he was waay pricier than the others. F I N A L L Y -- after all that, the right call was made. We found Omar at Golden Locks!! Omar gave me one, clear, transparent fair price. No confusion. I even called him back before I came to make sure he quoted me right!! He asked me to send him a picture of my key fob, and nothing changed. All was well and good. When we got there, Omar was right outside the shop working in his mobile unit. He happened to be working by himself at the moment, he said one of his workers left early, around 12, but it actually got quite busy for a late Saturday afternoon. By now, it was 2:30PM. There were two people ahead of me, one after me, and another came up while we were waiting. We waited for a bit, but it wasn't excessive or extensive, and the wait was even shorter once Omar got to my vehicle. Thankfully, he solved my key fob emergency fairly quickly, at the same wonderful price he quoted me over the phone before my arrival, gave me a brand new key fob, said he could reprogram/ repair my old broken defunct one and even said he could help us out with more keys for our other vehicle. FRAUD ALERT FILED WITH BANK ON THIS COMPANY. Ordered an ENCO Lockset and never delivered it. They (Mary Perez.employee) kept telling me to wait another week. After 6 weeks of waiting. They advised me they woulld refund my purchase in 5-7 days since they didn't have it in stock and hadn't received it from the manufacturer.. Waiited for a refund for 2 weeks and still no refund processed. They sent an email with a cancellation after the 2 weeks advising of a refund in 5-7 days more and still no refund 2 more weeks after. Total of 4 weeks now waiting for a refund on an order placed 2.5 months before. They are buying time, to steal your money. I contacted my bank and filed a claim and a FRAUD ALERT. read more

After receiving both, ended up nt needing them as door was replaced. After multiple attempts to send back they finally just said ship them back. I did. They never contacted me. I finally get through again and they say the locks are damaged and show some bs pictures- not what they sent me or I sent back. Maybe if you are in the area and can deal in person they might be good - but NEVER - EVER order anything from them online. My car's remote control and key fob were stolen. Four days later, the thief attempted to drive my car out of our garage but failed. I was really worried the thief might come back that night and tried again. I needed to have my door lock re-keyed and have remote control re-programmed the same day. My dealer did not have time to do the work the same day and did not have key fob in stock ,and quoted me around $800 just to do onboard reprogramming. I rushed to Golden Locks in Huntington Beach close to the their closing time. They re-programmed my original and new remote controls, and modified my door lock cylinder to create two new keys in half an hour. I was only charged aruond $600. All you have to do is 1) call, email and website-chat until you get a representative to confirm that the shipment arrived (I recommend saving all info regarding address, tracking, date, etc.); 2) pay to ship back the products(s) in resalable condition; 3) pay not only the actual cost of shipping the product(s) back to them but ALSO an arbitrary shipping cost that they assign for the return; 4) accept a substantial hit to your refund in the way of a restocking fee; 5) Repeat step 1 until you get an email confirming your refund. I placed on online order for a Mil Gard sliding door trim on May 11th. I called the next day to confirm the small order and the female said she would email me the tracking number. After 2 weeks of waiting on an email or delivery, I called again. The female assured me again that it would go out and email me a tracking. Last week June 14 I used their online inquiry for information. The next day a male called me and transferred me to the same female. She said the order came in damaged and she was going to reorder. I called the next day patiently asking for a follow up and she confirmed my email address, even sent me a quick email to make sure it was correct. After that...absolutely nothing! I was polite and patient each time when speaking with her. I never raised my voice nor was I at anytime disrespect. It's a small 45" sill molding. I really don't get it! Yesterday I called regarding replacing locks and keys to our Sprinter Van that was stolen (with our keys) and recovered. We needed to change locks a.s.a.p.! An unnamed Mercedes dealer quoted 3800. We would have to drop van before they would order parts. Then, wait 5 to 7 business day for them to arrive. Since the van was necessary to business and there were no similar vans to rent due to Amazon tieing up the market on vans we were desperate.
