Great experience with MS Electrical Engineering. I wanted to install a new NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for EV charging. I already had the city permit, so I wanted to make sure everything was installed properly and would pass inspection. Mike was very responsive and explained everything clearly. Professional, knowledgeable, transparent with pricing, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely use MS Electrical Engineering again for future electrical work. read more

Contacted Mike regarding the replacement of our existing Level 2 EV Charger, which had died after 5 years. Mike was highly responsive, asking a few clarifying questions and then providing a quote for the required services. We had to wait for the new charging unit to arrive and booked for the day after scheduled delivery. Mike communicated timeframe for arrival, was highly professional, and performed the replacement quickly. Most importantly, the actual cost of the service was exactly as quoted and significantly less than the other vendors that provided estimates. Given this was a straight replacement of the charging unit with no additional electrical work required, I was surprised some of the quotes were close to $1,000 while Mike did a great job for 1/4 of that. Could not recommend him more highly! read more

FIVE STAR SERVICE BY MIKE!!! Look no further because he is indeed great!!! I recently hired Mike to fix my lights because they were dimming throughout the house randomly each night. My previous electrician was no help after I asked several times if he could please diagnose and fix the issue with payment of services. He stalled and gave me so many excuses not to diagnose or try. We called Edison also and they said everything was fine on their end. We found Mike on Yelp through his great reviews and candor advertisements. I also appreciate how timely and responsive he was when I told him the issue. His thorough response to me was very sound and reasonable! I can tell by his customer service and expertise that he knew exactlyyyy what the issue was. I would hire him again & again for electrical needs! Thank you, Mike!! read more

Mike is Efficient, professional and knowledgeable!! My ac unit had sparks coming of the cord and blew a circuit and I didn't know what was wrong. He determined electric parts were okay but the unit needed to be replaced. I appreciate his honesty and help. The cost was affordable for his visit. Highly recommend! read more

Quick, accurate, quotes showed up on time. Installed my lights with no issues. Highly recommend.

Mike, the owner responded promptly. He came to my house to assess the project in person and gave me a written quote, broken down per line item. He was the only one to do this ( I spoke to 4 other firms). Very professional and organized. His pricing was very fair too. I would definitely use him again for other projects. read more

I hired MS Electrical Engineering for several home projects. Some work was completed as expected; however, there were issues related to installation details and execution of part of the work: An outdoor camera installation did not match the original quote for a hardwired system mounted on stucco using an adapter I provided. Instead, MS Electrical Engineering completed a shortcut installation mounting the camera to the fascia board and plugging the camera into an outdoor outlet. This was corrected on a requested return visit. A transformer installed next to an indoor switch was misaligned and required drywall repair for which he agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the repair. A motion-activated garage floodlight was installed without a required wall switch (clearly stated in the instruction manual) for full operation of the motion-detection options. Work areas were not fully cleaned after completion with dust and wire insulation left behind. Overall, while some work was completed satisfactorily, there were enough problems that I would not hire MS Electrical Engineering again. read more

Thanks Mike for finding the problem that caused 2 outlets and 2 switches to become dead. You traced the lines for a possible hidden J-box but actually found one of the switches in another room that was the culprit (loose wire). I had another electrical company come out previously for a service call only to find out they would need to schedule another visit to do the tracing. Their quote was so much and so unacceptable that I had to get another opinion. You were referred to me by my sister who had some ceiling lights installed by you. I am sooo glad I called you. You saved us a bundle. We are retired and on a fixed income so we really appreciated your very reasonable quote . read more

I had some LED cabinet lights that would turn on then turn off immediately. I thought it might be the switch so I replaced it but that did not solve the problem. That was the limit of my electrical repair ability, so I knew I needed a pro. My concern was that this was not a big job. Sure enough, the first three that I called could not be bothered. Then I called Mike. I explained the problem and he knew right away what it was. I made an appointment and he showed up on time. He identified the problem immediately and removed the faulty part. The next day he took the time to try to find it locally. That was unsuccessful so he ordered it from Amazon. When the part arrived, he advised me & we made another appointment. Once again he showed up right on time nd made the repair in about 10 minutes. The charge for the two visits was very reasonable and I was very happy with the repair. I will definitely be calling Mike the next time I need electrical help (and in. my house, I am sure that will be soon). read more

Our security cameras were professionally installed more than seven years ago, and over time the dome covers accumulated stubborn dirt that severely impacted night vision. I reached out to Mike, who arrived with his team and handled everything exceptionally well. They restored perfect night vision across all cameras, performing deep cleaning where needed and replacing a few dome covers. Mike also assisted with some of our power switch issues. I highly recommend him--he's now my first choice for any future maintenance, installation or repair needs. read more

Mike and his crew did a great job adding lights to the front of our house. He was very professional and responsive in providing an on-site estimate and communicating back and forth. They were on time on the agreed date and they worked through the day and got the job done. We had to wait until nightfall to inspect the lights (govee permanent lights pro) and two of the adhesive pads did not stick properly; I sent photos and they were back the next day and made sure everything was perfect before calling the job done. Mike gave me a fair and decent quote that was very comparable to other companies in the area. He was able to work with my schedule of availability and showed up on time and was friendly. He explained everything he was gonna do and why. I had a simple project for him switching out a GFCI outlet for a freezer we have in the garage. He worked quick and thorough. Would definitely have him come back and do any future electrical projects I have. read more

Mike was great and fast! His response to my inquiry was quick, and he gave me an estimate right then about how much the job might cost. Other guys wanted a bunch of personal information first before they could give me an estimate regarding the photos and information I included in my inquiry.
