Andrew and his team are absolute professionals! We hired them to upgrade our electrical panel and prepare our garage for EV charging, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. They arrived well-prepared, worked tirelessly through a very hot day, and showed genuine care not only for our home but also for their own team. Andrew was incredibly responsive, handled all the city permits and paperwork, and managed every step of the communication with the city, making the process completely stress-free for us. It's refreshing to work with a company that is professional, reliable, and truly takes pride in its work. Highly recommend Andrew and his team! read more

After my general contractor abandoned the project, leaving the job incomplete for 60 days while I was living in the home, I hired HAVICAN CUSTOMS ELECTRIC to take over the electrical work. During the initial walkthrough, Andrew, the owner, assured me that his team could handle all aspects of the electrical installation required for my project. On the day scheduled for installing the finish electrical, the job site atmosphere reminded me of the busy, overlapping work reminiscent of the old KB Home days--workers coordinating closely and efficiently to get the job done. This collaborative effort was evident throughout the project, and it was the most impactful aspect of the work I observed. While photographs may not fully capture the quality and dynamics of the work, my experience with HAVICAN CUSTOMS ELECTRIC was positive. If you are seeking an honest and down-to-earth electrician, I recommend reaching out to Andrew at HAVICAN CUSTOMS ELECTRIC. read more

I hired Andrew for the electrical work as part of my whole-house remodeling project. The work included upgrading the electrical panel, installing recessed lighting throughout the house, adding an EV charger, and many other electrical upgrades. Andrew and his crew did a fantastic job. They were professional, reliable, and easy to work with, and I'm very happy with the quality of their work. With a project this large, it was great to have an electrician I could trust to get everything done properly. I'm very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely hire Andrew again for any future electrical projects. Highly recommended! read more

Hired HCE to upgrade our electric panel. They did an AMAZING job!!! Extremely professional and always showed up exactly when they said they would. Andrew answered all my numerous calls and texts right away. Their work passed all city codes and requirements with no issues. Their pricing was fair and reasonable. Messaged this place about replacing an old electrical panel, the person came out to look at it then told me that he would send me an estimate by email or message on how much it would come out to. After a few days he never sent an estimate and I messaged him asking a 2nd time for one and he completely ghosted me. read more

I needed a new 200 amp electrical panel upgrade and EV charger installed. Havican Custom Electric was able to beat out the competition for half the price of what I was being quoted by another popular company here on Yelp. Andrew and his team arrived when they said they would, weathered a severe rainstorm while performing our upgrade and kept our home clean and tidy in the process. He took care of everything from coordinating with the city inspector, utility company, stucco demo and painting so the process was a breeze. Now I am the happy owner of a neatly labeled fully future proof electrical panel with whole house surge protection. If you need electrical work done and don't want to deal with headaches, definitely consider working with Havican Custom Electric. read more

Andrew definitely takes care of his customers! Everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end: - contacted Andrew, and set an appointment right away for the next Monday. - got the quote with decant price within a day after he checked it. - since it's a commercial, we asked to minimize the shut down time. He tried to come in when it's the most convenient time and only for few hours a day (two days job overall). - easy to talk to, helped out with an corroded conduit as well. - at the end I sent everything to the insurance, got approved right away. 5+ stars experience! Thank you!! read more

Andrew came out on time to check on an outlet that was out. He checked the breaker and the outlet, was a simple repair but he made sure to explain what was going on. Because it was a simple repair for Andrew he was kind enough not to charge the quoted price, which I appreciated. Highly recommended. I will be sure to use his services again. read more

Andrew and Damien's team were professional and knowledgeable. We needed to update our panel for an upcoming remodel and our set up is so clean because of Havican. I can't even see the lines around the house they had to add. We went with a smart panel so they helped set up the app for me. From installation to stucco then paint and finally inspection they were there for each step. It's very important for us to have personable vendors we can go back to for help if needed especially when being a female home owner. Thanks Andrew and Damien! Can't wait to call you after remodeling to put up all my light fixtures! read more

Outdoor lighting installation by Andrew and team went well. Arrived on time and communication was good.

Objective: Determine the failure of multiple outlets and light switches after turning main breaker on/off Initially contacted through Yelp requesting mass number of quotes. Andrew asked a few questions and provided a quote on the lower end of chat proposals. Andrew arrived on-time as promised and was able to figure out the issue. Andrew was professional and thorough with his work. I asked for a quote on a NEMA outlet for EV and anticipate using HCE. I would recommend Havican Custom Electric for your home electrical needs. read more

Absolute highest recommendation for Andrew and his staff. Needed an electrical panel replaced and he let us know the procedures that would take place and the result was a very clean looking install. I highly recommend Havican Custom Electric! Our AC unfortunately stopped working during a heatwave and we learned that we needed to replace the electrical panel to get it working again. We had a few electricians come out to give an estimate, and Andrew impressed me with his knowledge of city code, friendly demeanor, and very competitive price. When Andrew went to pull our permit, we hit a snag and were stalled due to the previous homeowner failing to properly obtain permits when installing the old panel. Andrew went above and beyond helping us navigate the process with the city and with a particularly difficult inspector. When we finally got the green light to install the new panel, Andrew quickly got us on the schedule and got the panel installed. We were impressed with the quality of his work and quick communication throughout the process. We passed inspections and our AC is working once again! Havican will be the first company I call for any future electrical needs. read more

Team Havican! These are professionals. They quoted me for a job and got right to work. The best part about hiring them is the communication. Andrew and Damian installed an EV charger for my new plug-in hybrid. I reached out to him a couple of months ago when I was thinking of buying an EV. Since I didn't know anything about chargers, I asked Andrew and he gave me a recommendation based on what he knows from installing for other clients. He gave me a preliminary quote and told me to let him know once I've purchased a car. Once I was ready, I contacted again and Andrew had availability the same week for install, but I wasn't available for that day. It was easy to reschedule for the next week. On the install day, Andrew let me know when he was on his way. It only took a few hours for Andrew and Damian to hardwire the charger into my panel and mount it on the side of my house. It's In a great spot, looks great, and works great too! Andrew was easy to talk to and he happily answered any questions I had. His prices are very reasonable as well. I reached out to Andrew for this job because he replaced my main electrical panel a couple of years ago and he did a great job. He took care of the permits, he had a stucco guy on hand, and he even nicely labeled all the breakers. He's my go to for any electrical needs for my home! Don't hesitate to reach out to him! read more

We've had a few outlets that stopped working over a period of time, and it wasn't anything urgent, so we sat on it for a while. When we had to call a handyman for something else, I asked him to look at the outlets. He looked at them but said he had to come back because it might take long to figure out the problem. I decided that I should probably call an electrician instead. I've had good experience with Havican Electric before and called. He came, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it within 15 minutes. HIghly recommend! read more

Havican Custom Electric is amazing! Andrew, the owner, replaced our main and sub electrical panels for us. We also asked him to move the sub panel out of the upstairs bedroom down into the garage. I loved that he wanted to check with the inspector before quoting it to us since he had not done that before. It worked out great because then he knew exactly what was required and the quote was very fair. They are very clean as they work. The drywall and stucco repairs were great too. Andrew is quick to reply to texts and emails, and scheduled inspections a head of time to minimize disruption to our tenant. He told us exactly what was going to happen each day and stuck to it. He took care of everything dealing with SCE, and the city permits. I highly recommend you use Havican Custom Electric! Andrew will take care of you. Our tenant was amazed by Andrew too! read more

What can I say about this duo, I guess the Yelp reviews were spot on! I mean, these guys were awesome, from cleanliness to detail oriented. Affordable and not once did I have to worry about price inflation. I've had contractors increase price just by you looking at them. Not these guys, they were thorough and kept their price by the quote. They knew what they were doing and did it correctly. I'm not an electrician, but I did research prior for building codes, what is correct or isn't. I didn't mention it during the project but I can see that they followed code guidelines. Never have I ever felt satisfied paying electricians or contractors except for these guys. It was a pleasure to have them working on our property instead of waiting for them to be finished. Highly recommend this father and son duo! They work great as a team and again, very affordable. read more

I can't say enough good things about Andrew and his son. I had them do a good amount of work at my new house. A new Main Panel, Sub-Panel, and rewiring a mess in the kitchen the previous contractor left. Andrew's prices were ultra-competitive and his quality of work was top-notch. He was meticulous and clean with all of the work. Having dealt with dozens of electricians while I was a GC and at my commercial warehouse. I will say Andrew was by far the best. read more

It has been over a year since Andy came over to do some upgrades to my electrical in my home and I am still waiting for him to return to repair the items that are not working (which is the majority of the line items). * Dedicated outlet for our treadmill * Added a line in my office that overloads when I turn on the house fan * Added an outlet for my exterior lights All of these items have never worked. He made appointments he never kept and strung me out for months to the point where I quit calling him. Andy loves new business and will go out of his way to fit you in to his schedule. But, beware, if you ever need him to follow up on some of his work and stand behind his workmanship. He won't be there and I gave him many opportunities to make it right. read more
