After my Ceiling fan was coming loose from the ceiling I searched everywhere for a mounting kit including Home Dept, Amazon, Ace only to find they didn't make it anymore. So I bought a new ceiling fan and realized the installation included going in my rafters to mount it. At that point, I knew it was above my pay grade. I located Baumel Brothers on Yelp and Shane got back to me and we negotiated a fair price to have his team come out and install it for me. Casey and Joseph showed up on time and knew exactly what to do. I was prepared with drop clothes and a ladder for them. After one of them went in my rafters to set up the mounting kit, they installed my new fan and it works great with plenty of light. Casey and Joseph were respectful and knowledgeable. Working with Shane was a pleasure and now I have him giving me an estimate on converting Fluorescent Lights to Can Lights. Excellent communication and follow through. I appreciated that they arrived a little early on the day of my scheduled appointment. The workers were friendly, courteous and quickly identified the problem which was a faulty switch. They had a replacement switch with them and asked if I minded that it did not match the one next to it. I asked how much it would cost to replace both switches and it was only $20 more than my original quote so I had them do both. They were finished in exactly 30 minutes from the time they arrived. Shane is a very patient man as I bombarded him with all kinds of different questions and requests for quotes as I was juggling a few house projects at the same time and trying to learn more. In the end, Shane's crew wired and installed 4 ceiling fans, a bathroom fan and added a new outlet to the bathroom. They were clean and efficient. Requested them to troubleshoot the issue at my rental unit. Ended up just needing to reset the breaker and charged the service fee of $210 to do that. I get that a service fee is needed for the time (5 minutes) and drive out, but adjusting it relative to the issue should be taken into consideration especially if you want a repeat customer. Installed 240V circuit with about 40ft run and outlet to convert to induction range. Quote was close to others, and he brought it down to match even closer. After delivery, the outlet needed to be turned to make room for the power cord pigtail direction - a 40A wire is much thicker than 120. He came back same day to adjust outlet box.
