Outstanding service. I contacted them to install a new ceiling fan. Not only was their price better than others, the work was outstanding. Miguel, the electrician, was on time and was courteous, friendly, and did an excellent job. We had a problem with the patch up guy who didn't do a God job, but when I contacted Shane Baumel, he was apologetic and had the patch guy come back and take care of it. I would highly recommend them for any electric work that you may need. They are truly the best. read more

Hi Shane, We wanted to contact you about Rito, the electrician your office sent to our home. My husband Carlos and I wanted to say how awesome, accommodating, and professional Rito was. He was extremely friendly and patient with us and provided expert opinions on our issues. He replaced the kitchen's light fixture in just 10 minutes, and it's working perfectly. We got the LED light he recommended, and now my kitchen is super bright! Thanks again for your service; we will keep your information for future assistance! Regards, Carlos and Maria Signal Hill read more

We had several smaller electrical issues and Shane responded very quickly. He had great communication and gave detailed pricing estimates. We did wind up going with another company just due to scheduling availability a the last minute nature of our need. I would definitely reach back out to Shane for our future electrical needs. read more

Requested them to troubleshoot the issue at my rental unit. Ended up just needing to reset the breaker and charged the service fee of $210 to do that. I get that a service fee is needed for the time (5 minutes) and drive out, but adjusting it relative to the issue should be taken into consideration especially if you want a repeat customer. Only reason why I'm knocking it down a star. Other than that communication was great and they were able to come out in short notice. read more

Shane's team did a solid job setting up a new outlet circuit to replace a broken one. They were responsive and quick. Would call them again for more electrical work. read more

Shane and his crew are THE BEST!!! We used them last year when we moved into our home for a lot of electrical work and they were phenomenal. I called them again last week to hang a chandelier in our stairway entryway. Jesus and Manny carefully planned out the hanging and were so kind. I will always use Shane and Baumel Brothers Electrical!! read more

I cannot express my extreme gratitude enough to Baumel Brothers! I tripped a few breakers over this past weekend and one of them controlled our AC unit. Of course this happened on the hottest weekend of the year! After trying to reset the breakers myself, several times, and nothing coming back on...I began to panic. I quickly went onto Yelp to search for an electrician and realized it was 30 minutes to quitting time (5p) and most businesses either were already listed as "closed", or "closing in 30 minutes". I wanted to cry! Baumel Bros was the first I tried calling and thank goodness!! I was greeted by Debbie, one of the wives of the Baumel Bros, and her concern for my predicament was so genuine that I knew I had contacted the right business. She first tried to walk me through re-setting the breakers, noting she might be able to save me some money if we can get it going over the phone. Honestly that's so unlike a business to do, try and save you money, I was touched! Unfortunately we could not get it going so Debbie let me know she'd contact her husband and see if he could squeeze me in. She noted it would be time and a half because it would be after hours, but of course who cared at this point! Debbie called me back immediately and confirmed her husband would be here in 20 minutes. Hallelujah!!! He came quickly, worked his magic and everything was up and running again. Even looked at another small issue I've been experiencing with the wall outlets. They were both so nice and accommodating that I couldn't be happier with their level of customer service. Everyone should take a page out of their playbook!! Thank you Baumel Brothers!!! read more

Y'ALL. Baumel Brothers have EARNED all these 5 star reviews. They are now my electrician for life. The quote was reasonable, they showed up as promised and on time, they communicated well when we had to make adjustments to the plan, the work was done efficiently and well. They have INTEGRITY, and demonstrated this value consistently throughout the process, from quote to billing. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I cannot recommend them enough. I have a few more projects to do down the road, none as big as this, but they will be who I will call every. Damn. Time. read more

Installed 240V circuit with about 40ft run and outlet to convert to induction range. Quote was close to others, and he brought it down to match even closer. After delivery, the outlet needed to be turned to make room for the power cord pigtail direction - a 40A wire is much thicker than 120. He came back same day to adjust outlet box. Will definitely use again in the future. read more

Two home visits made to fix several electrical issues, including replacing a faulty switch and light fixture and installing a new, dedicated line for my jacuzzi tub. Miguel, Jesus and Francisco all were excellent. Highly recommended! read more

Shane was prompt in his estimate, and within two days, the job of adding a new outlet with USB and upgrading the two existing ones in the bedroom was done quickly. The crew did a good job of cleaning up after the job! read more

Shane and his team did a great job as always. I had a bunch of tasks for completion - I showed Eduardo what was needed and he went to work. He needed no help or anything. Honestly, he was perfect - while he worked, I could be productive too, while working from home. All work was completed satisfactorily. I was also happy about the value and communications. Thank you Shane and Eduardo. Note: this is a real and honest review from service on 3/21/25. I received nothing of value from the business other than the great service described. read more

Prompt response from Shane and company. They arrived quickly and didn't leave a mess! Highly recommend

I thought Shane was very caring. He did not charge me an estimate. Since one conductor was working, he moved the circuits to one side so I could have my lights and plugs working 1st and 2nd floors for free. He said that he usually charged $200 but did it for free. Premier power charged $79 for estimate and was going to charge $1000 to switch the circuits to the working conductor so my lights and plugs work in the house. The company gave me 15% discount, but it was still expensive. I really appreciate Shane's customer service. I didn't go with him because my family needed the electrical issue immediately. There was another company who was willing to start right away plus the electrician spent more time with me. The other company also had a finance plan. This was the deal breaker because I was afraid that it will cost too much out of pocket. He explained to me that he was unable to give me an estimate earlier because he had a personal reason. I did tell him that I'll consider him in the future. read more

Started a simple project to upgrade a transformer so my video doorbell could work. Received several quotes fairly quickly. Even though the Baumel Brothers quote was slightly higher, their response time and follow-up was the best. The guys showed up on time and finished on time. I love an easy morning. read more

I had to have my electric panel upgraded per association regulations. So glad I found Baumel Brothers during my process of getting multiple quotes. Baumel Brothers provided me the most information, answered all my questions, provided me with a timeline, interacted w me in a professional manner and gave me a professional quote. If you are in this process, you may find it's hard to find a company to trust... they are just throwing #s out there and then changing them to make you happy. I don't go for that. Baumel Brothers gave me a realistic quote and kept to it. Their quote was also very competitive. They provided me references I was able to contact as well and see their work. Baumel Brothers is a 4 generation family business! They are in business this long because they do it right! Quick to answer your phone calls, friendly , value their customer, treat them with respect and get the job done right....the first time!!!! Can't be happier and I will be a returning customer! read more

My message is to praise the Technician from Baumel Electric. An outlet wouldn't let me use any necessary appliance and I was anxious and frustrated. Shane Baumel came to my home within an hour. He quickly discovered the cause and repaired it. I appreciate the prompt and excellent service. Sincerely, Joyce B. read more

Shane with the Baumel brothers installed an outlet for me in my shared garage and was extremely professional and very patient and kind with all my questions! I initially reached out in November with the request and wasn't able to get approved by my HOA until January. Shane was in constant communication with me and talked me off the ledge a couple times! I will be hiring them again in the near future!! read more

I've called Shane a couple of different times in the past couple of months now and wanted to share my positive support for this business. Their first visit was to a residential property that we rent. Shane fit us into his schedule on short notice and really saved the day. Today, it was Rito who came to our own residence (again on short notice) and he fixed our wiring issues in a snap. Shane and his team are responsive, punctual and to the point. I've had enough less-than-good experiences with other electrical service providers, so I'm quite happy to have connected with Shane's company now. They'll solve your electrical problems quickly, reliably and at prices that I think are quite fair. Thank you! read more

Jesus and Paco on Shane's team did an awesome job in extending a 240v outlet to another area of my garage. They were very professional and friendly, making great decisions on the extension that will support me drywalling the garage at some future date if that's what I decide to do. The cost was fair for the amount of work entailed. I highly recommend them for any electrical work you need done. read more

I got multiple estimates to install to ceiling fans ranging unto $1200 (I provide the fans). The general rule of thumb is don't take the highest or lowest estimate. The highest was a no-brainer. This was the lowest estimate so I was pretty skeptical. Their reviews were great (I read quite a few) so I decided to take a chance. Installing ceiling fans isn't complicated so I was hopeful it would work out. I was nicely surprised. The service was great & easy to get an appointment. I just needed 2 ceiling fans installed. Rito & his partner came on time & did a great job. Turns out I didn't have an angled ceiling adapter for one of the fans but they tried different ways to get it to work. It just didn't. Rito helped me find the right part & didn't charge me until the job was done on the 2nd visit. Rito installed the 2nd fan without any problems. They changed out the wall bracket for the fan remote control too. The followup visit had a hiccup. I scheduled a followup when the part came in & specifically requested Rito & his partner. Unfortunately, the appointment wasn't logged & Shane didn't actually schedule it. He did work hard to get someone else to come out to do the second install. The followup install didn't go smoothly either. The electrician was very nice & polite. I think he was really doing his best. I think he just isn't as experienced as Rito. The electrician (I forget his name) was have trouble putting the fan together. First he said some part was missing - but later found it in the box after making me panic a little. (I bought the fans a while ago & wasn't sure I could return/exchange them anymore). Then he said that the pre-drilled screw holes were not aligned & he couldn't get the fan blades in (same fan was already installed in another room by Rito the 1st visit). I convinced him to call someone to inquire since the other fan was installed without a problem. He was able to figure out the issue & the fan was installed & works well. So a couple of hiccups but they were resolved. Overall great service. I think they basically have a bunch of electricians they call to do jobs. I'd use them again. read more

2nd time reviewing this company Called Baumel brother for electric outlet installation at our patio area. Sean came to our home promptly and did an estimate. Very reasonable price and efficient work. They did really good job. Cleaned up afterwards and always give us an update and follow up if we are satisfied with their work. I highly recommend this company! Picture to follow. Thanks again for your service!! read more

Shane came out and fixed the problem in about 15-20 minutes. Told me it was an easier fix than he originally thought. $50 fix and I was shocked because most electricians I contacted said a minimum $150-200 just to look at my problem. Shane was very friendly, trustworthy, and professional. I will use them 100% in the future again. Great find. read more

They came quickly, were respectful and very clean. Fantastic work! We will definitely hire them again for future jobs

Shane was super helpful in coming by quickly after I submitted a request for a quote to fix my dimmer light switch in my restroom. Super communicative, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with his work. Turn around was 30 minutes or so and he also took a look at another socket I had in the restroom that was not working and replaced both. Highly recommend them for any electrical work you need done! read more

I had 4 new smart outdoor floodlights (hard-wired) installed by Baumel Brothers Electrical and I am happy with how everything turned out. The workers (Rito and Jorge) were on time, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. Despite an initial miscommunication about where some of the lights were to be installed, the workers and owner Shane did a great job presenting me with options on resolving the situation to my liking. Truly great service recovery and I can say with confidence that I would use Baumel Brothers Electrical again in the future. read more

Baumel Brothers did an excellent job repairing a 240v outlet that was modified by a previous DIY owner of the property. Had a great experience with these guys. Shane was always a text away throughout the process. We had our electrical panel upgraded from a 100 to 200 amp and added recessed lights throughout the entire house. I think we ended with about 40ish cans. Had some power issues come up along the way but they were able to take care of that quickly. Took about 2-3 days of work for everything to get done. Keith (the owner) was nice enough to come out for the day of the inspection of the panel to make sure everything went through smoothly. Had a couple lights that stopped working and they were able to come out the same day and swap them out. Family owned company and would definitely recommend them! Will for sure be going with them again in the future! read more

Good, inexpensive and quick to add a Tesla charger. My only gripe was they didn't send me a invoice.

Ah yes, the quest for an honest, timely, knowledgeable, fairly-priced electrician. Well, look no further, this is the company you want! I had mis-wired an outdoor outlet, which kept tripping a breaker in my service panel, causing all of my outdoor outlets to be dead. I couldn't figure out the problem, so I posted a request for electrical repair on Yelp. I immediately got a response from Shane at BAUMEL BROTHERS ELECTRICAL. He sent me his availability, and even texted me a quote. It was less than half the cost of others'. Rito and his crew (all very friendly) showed up right on time, and immediately diagnosed and fixed the problem. Thanks, Rito! I will definitely use Baumel Brothers Electrical for any future electrical problems Highly-recommended!!!!! read more

Too Long; didn't read: highly recommend! quote on point and very thorough with his work! I messaged Shane on Yelp to get a quote to trouble shoot my circuit breaker since it was sparking and making sizzling noises. He came right on time 9 am as he proposed and got right to work. Showed me the problem, the old breaker was fried and poorly installed. Kept me updated throughout the process since he had to run to the warehouse to get the item. He went a new breaker switch and installed it. We tested it by turning on the appliance attached to that line and he double checked the voltage and the switch to make sure it was properly in installed and wouldn't move! Very thorough and solid work! This quote was within the stated range too! Told me to call or text him if it acted up again! Definitely will be my electrical guy in the future if I need additional work! Highly recommend! Covid safe (work a mask the whole time) and also accepts venmo/zelle! read more
