The Scarlet Vetter says..... Our Western New York Drivers group went here for a private dinner one weekend evening. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a very cozy establishment with a lovely soft lit bar with a tender that pours an awesome drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is really quite nice and it is the kind of place you could meet a friend for a drink, tuck up to the bar and people watch when the place is in full swing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What was very impressive though was the food. We had approximately twenty plus people in our group and not a single person complained about their food. Everyone seemed very happy. I ordered delicious mini lamb chops as an appetizer. I ordered Seared Salmon but skipped the carbs and instead ordered a salad. The salad was very robust with lots of fixings, and was quite large. The lamb chops were super delicious and there were so many of them! I had ordered them cooked medium rare and they were cooked perfectly. My salmon was also scrumptious, crispy on the outside, flaky, tender and moist on the inside. All entrees also came with a long slice of toasted bread with buttery oil. Yum. Some of my dining companions ordered steaks, which they reported to be perfectly cooked and also absolutely delicious. I plan on coming back here for a dinner with my husband in the next month or so because the food was that good and the service was outstanding. Jamison, who is one of the people who made the event happen from the restaurant, was wonderful to work with, and super friendly. After all the entrees were served he went around making sure people were happy with their food. This was a great experience, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fine dining in a cozy atmosphere and if you're looking for a private space for a smaller get together of 20 or 30 plus, I would definitely consider making arrangements with them.

The atmosphere was good. The fish tank was cool, along with good service. But the food was eh. $17 for calamari that looks like fried onion rings. Lots of breading. I ordered the blackened chicken over pasta with broccoli. It was a pretty looking dish but hard to eat because of the shape of the bowl. Couldn't really cut up the chicken or the huge pieces of broccoli. Flavor was good though, I'll give them that, even if it was difficult to eat. Took the rest to go. When I went to eat it leftover they was a corner of a plastic bag in the container. Guess the food wasn't so fresh after all. Not worth the hype.

Thick bacon, bourbon BBQ, blue cheese crumbles and homemade Applesauce. A delicious app that was on special.

Kennedy's Cove is good, but hard to justify for the cost. The price is that of "special occasion" for most people, but I don't find the food to be better than other "special occasion" destinations in Buffalo. With that being said, the bacon appetizer was a standout that would make me consider coming to Kennedy's Cove again. But the next time I'll skip the average steak and get a cheaper menu item for my entree.

I needed crusty steak! Super small restaurant with angry fish that try to bite us Delicious calamari Beef vegetable soup was out of this world....it was not seafood bisque's day Steaks were top notch!!! No veggies thought :(

    Steak was very good!!

So we've been there twice in the last 6 weeks. I ordered the strip steak and my guy the filet. The first time it was coated with their in house blacked steak seasoning very heavy and it was DELISH!!!! The 2nd time not so much. The appetizers are just meh, nothing special and not all that tasty. The atmosphere is upbeat. The restaurant itself is VERY small and cramped. The bar is too big of the restaurant in my opinion. There's no where for patrons to sit and wait for your table. The wait each time was 30-45 mins. The service is ok, not great. The prices are very high and ala carte. The owner is hands on helping out and pleasant.

I cannot get enough of this place!! The food is incredible and the staff is amazing! They also have daily deals that you can't beat. I definitely recommend the blackened seasoning (what they are known for). Something I truly appreciated is they have you cut into your steak and make sure it's cooked to your liking.

The steak was decent but certainly nothing to brag about. I wouldn't eat here again the food is average but overpriced.

The food is way overpriced. We each had a filet. The steak was chewy and full of grizzle. I was not impressed and will not return.

Like c'mon! Imagine, you can have a cocktail and/or an appetizer and relax reading a book on the couch. Yes, I love this idea, I'm all about it. The place is small but seating is nicely spaced out, it's super cute and cozy, a modern rustic vibe, totally made me want to start my own book club just so I could be the cool person that hosts a gathering here! I came here for a Galentine's Day - Self Love Birthday gathering that was situated in the back room. It's a small room to the back left of the place where 12 people can sit at the three tables and there's a love seat and two chairs with a table accommodating 16 people and a couple more for standing room. We ordered three appetizers at the bar (see my pictures) and everyone ordered a mocktail. They brought the food over to our area but didn't ask who ordered the food or where to put it, they just kind placed it down and walked away. Appetizers were about $8, I was told the Buffalo Chicken Wing dip was not that good but I didn't try it. I ate the Mezza plate and appreciated it, would order again. I think this is a cute date night visit or a bring your bestie and chill kind of place. I'll definitely come back again with a friend to hang out, chat a bit and check out some books!

The private area for hosting was open for reservations and our book club met there. We had about 10 people but I would say this space is big enough for about 20! They have a full bar for drinks and mocktails and they also have some small plates for eating or sharing as well. I recommend the mezza plate! Very delicious. Staff were warm and welcoming and super nice and accommodating to our group. I would suggest stopping in for a nice drink and appetizer and maybe even pick up a good book! They have lots of comfy seats for you to enjoy your purchases.

Prices cannot be beat during the happy hour for these seafood delicacies which are costly otherwise. I was out at Perla on a Wednesday recently to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday with a group of friends. We had a great time and our server was such a sweet guy. The Woodfire pizzas are very good if you're not into seafood. Those you have to order from the regular menu. The menu is too limited for the happy hour. I knocked off one star because of this. There's usually a live band during this time, but we did not have one on the Wednesday that we attended unfortunately. I would definitely come back for the oysters!

While reviewing the happy hours specials I noticed "bottled and draft beers: $5.95". Not the greatest deal but went with it. I then proceeded to order 2 Corona Extras. We enjoy ourselves, finish our drinks, and now it's bill time. After reviewing the bill we notice that my Coronas were charged at $8.95 each. We bring this up to the bartender and are told "that's only for domestics"; not anywhere on the menu is this stated (don't worry I double checked). We ask if this is an error in our favor to which the magic happens. We must have said the magic words to this dirty blond bartender because that's when the tantrum happens. She then proceeds to reach into her tip jar and throw a single dollar bill and four quarters in front of us (technically still owed us $4). I've never seen such blatant disrespect and utter lack of candor or customer service. There's 100s of different ways to handle that situation if she disagreed with our thought on the bill and her reaction was literally the worst one. I had all intentions of coming back because we thoroughly enjoyed our time until literally the last minute. Obviously, we will not be back and I will share this experience with anyone that asks me about this place Take my experience for what it is and be mindful of the service (or for the love of God don't try and call them out on their specials!).
