Love love love!!!!! This place is super cute and perfect for a book club meet up which is the exact reason I stopped in! The private area for hosting was open for reservations and our book club met there. We had about 10 people but I would say this space is big enough for about 20! They have a full bar for drinks and mocktails and they also have some small plates for eating or sharing as well. I recommend the mezza plate! Very delicious. Staff were warm and welcoming and super nice and accommodating to our group. I would suggest stopping in for a nice drink and appetizer and maybe even pick up a good book! How have I eaten at the restaurant next door (Nana's Mediterranean - delicious btw) and never noticed this bar/bookstore? Yes, I wrote bar slash bookstore in my previous sentence. Like c'mon! Imagine, you can have a cocktail and/or an appetizer and relax reading a book on the couch. Yes, I love this idea, I'm all about it. The place is small but seating is nicely spaced out, it's super cute and cozy, a modern rustic vibe, totally made me want to start my own book club just so I could be the cool person that hosts a gathering here! I came here for a Galentine's Day - Self Love Birthday gathering that was situated in the back room. It's a small room to the back left of the place where 12 people can sit at the three tables and there's a love seat and two chairs with a table accommodating 16 people and a couple more for standing room. We ordered three appetizers at the bar (see my pictures) and everyone ordered a mocktail. They brought the food over to our area but didn't ask who ordered the food or where to put it, they just kind placed it down and walked away. Appetizers were about $8, I was told the Buffalo Chicken Wing dip was not that good but I didn't try it. I ate the Mezza plate and appreciated it, would order again. Our gals just ordered at the counter , and someone brought us our order to the couch (I had to pre-reserve the couch online , but it was free of charge .) Parking is a bit tight in the lot . Absolutely love it here. The staff is amazing and the place is cozy,comfortable and welcoming. The bookshelves are full and there are many, the art on the wall is fun and you feel like u are in a place that would be like in NYC and you arent. A nook where u can get away, relax and yet there are people talking and socializing and others reading. You can have a drink and sit, read, socialize, do a puzzle, and buy books! What more can u ask for!?!?!? The food is so good and they offer some amazing gluten free options. They are careful about the cooking for us gluten free peeps too. Awesome and unique spot to read, find a new book or grab food and drinks. This place is cozy and set up for a meet up, place to read, remote work space and also has a bar. Books are for sale and on display, I didn't have time to shop, I'll try next time. There is also a food menu complete with coffee and wine, beer and canned cocktails. The spinach and ricotta pastry along with the crepe cake taste ok but what stole the show was the corn dip. I wish it came with pita bread instead of the chips, but it was tasty nevertheless. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you. Service was quick enough although you are probably sitting there for a long time if you are really there for a book club discussion. Our book club met here for our last get together and I loved it! Nice spacious room in the back for a larger group with comfy chairs and a couch! The place itself was quiet and just the type of vibe I was hoping for. You can order at the bar and they bring your food to you. There wasn't service at the tables though so I assume you have to go up if you want a refil and you empty your plates ima garage and put the dishes in a container when you leave. I tried the spinach dip and it was ok... I liked that it was served with bread and not tortillas but it could benefit from more cheese and something thicker like cream cheese. The staff was so nice and the place is clean and very relaxing. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent it often! read more

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while. My cousin and I picked this spot to trauma bond. First, I purchased 2 books. They have free ARCs, which were cool to see. I purchased a used book and a new book. My cousin and I sat at bar. She enjoyed her mimosas, that are offered in other flavors than then original one, ans I enjoyed 2 European wines. They offer mocktails, tea and coffee, and beer. I also ordered the sandwich on gf. It waa delicious. I love a good sandwich, and this place has it. My husband and I visited for the first time a few weeks ago and were underwhelmed. It does not have a very cozy vibe which we were seeking. There is no fireplace and that would probably be a nice touch. It definitely felt like more bar than cozy atmosphere that you would want in a bookstore. I like the concept we both did, but it isn't the vibe we were hoping for. The desserts offered looked great and we are both gluten-free so we went with the gluten-free almond cake, which was extremely sweet - I was only able to finish half. The coffee is not good - and there are no espresso drinks offered. Not a lot of tea options either. I asked about the menu and where the flour is sourced and they were unable to answer. The canned mocktail was good but pricey. In fact it's a pretty pricey menu. I wouldn't seek this place out again but I wish them success. read more

My mom had been eagerly awaiting the opening of BestCellar Book Bar, and when she heard I'd be visiting for the holidays, she knew we had to go. I'm so glad we did - this place is incredible! The cozy atmosphere, the carefully curated selection of bestseller books, and the reasonably priced food all make it a standout spot. They offer a variety of options, from breakfast and lunch to light bites, so there's something for everyone. As for drinks, they have beer, wine, and some cocktails. I enjoyed a comforting cup of hot coffee, but they also offer tea, soda, and even a non-alcoholic beer option (if memory serves me correctly). I really appreciated the inclusive NA offerings and hope to see mocktails added to the menu in the future. The food/coffee service was great and I picked up a cute book while I was there, too. Scheduled our book club meeting here and wow were we all impressed. Staff was beyond excellent and the space was super clean allowing us to relax and have a fantastic time. Drinks were excellent and it appeared that there were a bunch of games in the book club space so it could a place to meet with some friends and just truly decompress. Shared a review on Google and it was deleted, not sure why. PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. An old guy worker there treated customers rudely and cold either because of race or age, either way it's unacceptable. I saw another review saying they heard a worker talking badly about a customer which adds up. Instead of taking accountability they're having reviews deleted. I can show receipts I've been here multiple times and even bought a blind date book which I want to return. The old guy worker was greeting everyone extremely nicely and giving great service except to a group of young Indian girls who he treated extremely coldly and very rude. The service here is worse than horrible, it's discriminatory. I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to go back, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. read more

Was so looking forward to this book-bar opening and it did not disappoint. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The building itself is very open and spacious. The bar itself is set to the side so as not to disturb the readers. I love the stools facing out the front window. My friend and I had some wine as we chatted and checked the place out. The wine list had a great selection and was very reasonably priced. Oh, and the books! They represented current 'typical' book club reads and supported a young adult section too. Beautiful large space; decent and varied selection of new books that would pique anyone's interest. Large tables to get some work done. Employees are friendly enough. Unfortunately, the location does not have any caffeine-free or alcohol-free beverages. To clarify- decaf is not caffeine-free. I asked :( I ordered the beignet trio, and they were still partially frozen when I ate them. I'm looking forward to their growth and experience the next time I visit. I've patronized the BestCellar Book Bar before and was pleased but this all changed the other day. There was an older gentleman and an older woman working there that day. When prior customers were served they were waited on with enthusiasm. A young girl and her friend were ignored by them, they didn't respond to them, the treatment towards them was very different than the people prior to them. I will think twice before spending my money in an establishment that does not treat all of their customers equally. read more

The bar options and food was incredible (I had a fantastic cup of joe, some delicious spicy chicken soup, a glass of red), the owners are friendly, and the vibe was very comfortable. There were a couple book club meetings going on in the reserved areas, some people playing chess, and I was there reading while enjoying my food and drink and my own company.
