We love this little snug of a cafe in the heart of East Aurora NY. It's beautifully decorated and tastefully designed to envelope you in luxury. We're only interested in the coffee although there is a martini and wine bar for those seeking that. I love that the price of a cup of coffee gives you a refill on your way out the door! So very thoughtful! read more

Really cute inside, menu looks good for a lunch but the desserts really looked delicious! We just had a bottle of Malbec and it was good! Cocktail list had great options, lots of people were getting espresso martinis. I will definitely go back especially in the summer cause when we passed by last summer they were shucking oysters outside! Services was a little slow.. bar seats were quick service. read more

Met old friends here; we hadn't seen each other in quite a while, so too busy chatting to pay much attention to our surroundings. Having read some of the other reviews, I wish I'd paid more attention! All 4 of us were pleased with our orders. Mine was ahi tuna asian salad: delicious! Generous serving of the tuna. Others had fig and pig, french onion soup, chicken salad which came with a toasted croissant. Lunch time on a Saturday, but the place was empty except for us; don't know why. Service was good, no loud music so conversation was easy. read more

I've been to Mambrino King several times, and it's been great every time. I highly recommend the hummus plate, the flatbread, and the French onion soup. There's a lot of good menu options for all different tastes. And generally this place has excellent service and really good vibes. read more

Friendly service from a very eclectic bunch! Comfortable seating, delicious specialty cake that paired well with my wine, and fresh oysters shucked in the minute! Exceptional cafe experience. Perfect for a date night or dinner with friends- this intimate bar and eatery is sure to impress. They have a diverse cocktail selection which pairs well with their wine list. For food they have a variety of chef made appetizers, small plates, wood fired pizzas and more. We both started with their homemade soup which not only warmed us up on a cold winter night but also tasted wonderful. Next we shared a arugula pizza which we devoured. We really enjoyed our time there, and would add it to our date night list- the decor and cozy atmosphere can't be replicated at larger places read more

Had to drop my daughter off to a party in the area and decided to kill time by grabbing a late lunch on Main St. There is both indoor and patio seating. I opted to sit on the patio to people watch since I was by myself. I ordered an iced chai with Oatmilk, the chick pea soup and a gf fig and blue cheese flatbread. The waitstaff was so nice and incredibly accommodating. They were able to easily direct me to all gluten free options. The food was good and I really enjoyed the seasoning of the gf flatbread. It actually had flavor. They have a full wine, beer, coffee and cocktail menu as well as desserts. read more

This is a cute and cozy wine and chocolate bar in East Aurora. The menu has charcuterie, cheese boards as well as a variety of smaller items like sandwiches, grilled cheeses and even some soups. Add to that, there are handcrafted chocolate trufflers from Jaclyn A and a variety of desserts. There are cozy couches as well as traditional tables and a bar. Their coffee game is really on point too with mochas, cortados, hot chocolates and even Vietnamese coffees! I thoroughly enjoyed the cheese board which came with 3 different kinds of cheeses and a variety of things like dates and dried peaches. I also had the Vietnamese Coffee and an espresso with a Jaclyn A truffle. So good! The coffee and especially the espresso was smooth, delightful and served with a little bit of water like it should be. Customer service was excellent! I highly recommend Mambrino King! read more

What an eclectic hidden gem this place is. Seating is limited but comfortable, call ahead. It's like relaxing in someone's house with great service friendly atmosphere and fantastic food. This evening we had the Brie and bacon flatbread followed up with a medium charcuterie board which was made to perfection. Drinks and prices were on par, wait staff and everybody there was super friendly and inviting. Can't wait to go back. It's a coffee, chocolate, cheese and dessert bar, if that makes sense and yes it certainly does. Mambrino King is a sensory overload experience, there is so much to see and take in. It's really hard to describe you really need to see it for yourself and you won't be disappointed. This is going to sound strange but, even the bathroom is awesome, you'll have to experience it yourself to see what I mean. read more

Met a couple friends and their kids here for lunch. Not too ideal for kids, but we selected a couch area that was more away from other tables and cozy. They have a nice wine list and full bar. The food menu is small, but some good selections. Two of us chose the brie and bacon flatbread, the other a half sandwich and soup. The soup was a chicken stew type and I was told it was spicy and very tasty. The flatbreads were great, a little too much lettuce and not enough bacon on mine, but very good. Our server was very nice and was the only one serving that day, although it wasn't very busy and they have only a handful of tables inside, outside seating in the summer adds several more. Everything was lovely and we enjoyed ourselves. We'll be back! read more

After branching at 42 North we didn't want Sunday Funday to end but we didn't want to hang around the brewery. After a Yelp search and a group conconsenses that some chocolate was in order we stopped in here. It was a quick walk right up the street (the hill) and around the corner. This is an adorable wine and coffee bar, it had some food options available and local chocolates for sale. The chocolatier is the (former) co-owner Chow Chocolate. Walking in, watch your step the space is small and intimate but still sunny. You can either sit at the wooden bar on the right or there are some tables along a bench on the left. In the back you'll find a larger table and the gender neutral restroom. We started by splitting a bottle of wine and some each ordering a few chocolates. I sampled the strawberry champagne and the fiery kiss (?). The strawberry champagne was like a pink powdered delight and the fiery kiss certainly made its mark but didn't leave a hickey lol. It was milk chocolate and habanero ganache I believe. You wouldn't want to eat a whole box but if you're looking for an experience give this one a try. On my way out I ordered the Canadian cold brew, a blend of ice coffee, maple syrup and possibly turmeric. It was a great treat and pick me for the drive back to Buffalo where I had some group project for ECC to work on. On my next East Aurora adventure I will be coming back here. The atmosphere here is relaxed and enjoyable so after a day of shopping or whatever it's a great spot to unwind. read more

Great atmosphere, relaxing. Sad and lost kitchen & menu. Super sad mediocre food. Owner seemed nice but obviously no experience. Kitchen is very small and whoever is in there doesn't know how to cook. They are lost. These people are in need of real experience and knowledge. It's obvious that they have no idea how to run a restaurant. Old lettuce. Cold cooked yesterday tuna, less bread than it should on warm brie plate. Flat bread pizza was a big cracker. The way too big sofa takes up too much space. Its cluttered and unusable inside space. Bathroom is really big, making the kitchen too small. It's just completely wrong with every single part of the setup. A pro would have reconfigured the place and have it working well. Great atmosphere and drinks, DO Not order any food here. I'm surprised they're still open and functioning. read more

This used to be one of our favorite spots. It's now lacking. We would come in specifically for charcuterie and that price has increased a lot while the boards have gotten much smaller with less cheese/meat as well. Mostly fruit. So disappointing! Just not worth the price anymore. French onion soup was just okay. Service was meh. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took incredibly long to be taken care of while dining/trying to get the check. We will unfortunately not be back after this last experience read more

I always used love it here. But this particular time I went with my boyfriend, we paid $60 for two small sandwhiches and two small drinks. Then the owner comes out and stands right next to our table awkwardly for the last half of our dinner and proceeds to only talk to my boyfriend. I personally asked her for our check since she was standing right there then she proceeds to say "oh there's a women, I thought you were a man" clearly I looked like a women and it was a direct insult. DO NOT COME HERE. Ambiance used to be everything here but now I'm never coming again read more

Wine, coffee AND chocolate? These three words were the sole reason we stopped in. However, this cafe still has a lot of potential to grow- specifically in customer service. We came in on a Saturday and there were a few other customers, most were seated and already taken care. We stood awkwardly between the bar and entrance while 3 women behind the bar looked busy and didn't notice us waiting. A few minutes later, one finally asked if anyone had helped us yet. I said no, and that it was our first time here so we came in for a glass of wine and to try chocolates. She told us to sit down and they would take our drink orders and explain the chocolates. OK! So we sat down and we got pages of wines and lite dishes. This waitress (who was in ear shot of the one who greeted us) took our drink order, brought over our drinks a bit later, then never came back like she said she would. So we sat, with our wine slushie and glass of one of the few local wines, and sat, patiently waiting for the chocolates to be "explained" since they were not on the menu, but she never came back. My boyfriend then had to go up and ask them to come back to explain the chocolates. She brought over a plate and said what each one was and I picked out three. They were $2 each but delicious. When she came back again, I asked if they were new and she informed me that they've been open for three months. Here's my advice if they want their customers to return: 1. Acknowledge customers when they walk in and thank them for their business when they leave 2. The chocolates cannot be a mystery. Either include them on the menu or be sure to bring them over shortly after serving drinks, they look delicious and will sell themselves if you let them 3. Treat everyone like a guest, not just the groups of middle aged women. My boyfriend and I, and two other couples were treated coldly 4. Get organized. Everyone working was scrambling but not sure why... decide who will pay attention to customers and who will make the drinks 5. Add more local wines to the menu! I'll watch the reviews and if they get better reviews, maybe I'll consider coming back in one day. Pros: Lots of wines to choose from, delicious chocolate Cons: customer service is horrible, they don't seem to advertise the chocolates, prices a little steep read more

I came here tonight with my two best friends. The service wasn't bad. The waitress was pleasant and nice but I had to come in and get more water for my table. I had a chocolate martini, a lemon drop martini, and the grilled cheese sandwich. I didn't want the chips that they came with. (I can't eat them lately.) The waitress said they could add some cheeses and then came out to say that wasn't doable and apologized. A small spring of grapes was added. The sandwich was small but the bread was good and the sandwich was wonderfully cheesy. I enjoyed my drinks, although they could've been filled a bit more. My friend had bought some Jaclyn A chocolates to share with us. She bought a dark chocolate bar and a bar with lavender and white chocolate. Both were great. This place is a tad pricy but it has a nice ambiance. It was nice that we were able to sit outside. (There was a vacant table when we walked up.) They have a small amount of seating inside and it's decorated nicely. We were seated near their fresh garden where they had tomatoes growing to my left and a few other things to the right of my friend. (The chef came outside to take some mint out of the garden, while we were eating.) If I was in the area, I'd probably return and sit inside on their nice comfy-looking couch. 3.5/5 read more

A gf and I stopped by on a whim, just to check it out and have a glass of wine. I was blown away by the food, charm, service and drinks. One of the owners actually welcomed us and walked us through the drink and food options, since it was our first time. We had the bbq chicken flatbread, which was amazing! I am gluten free and it was the best gf flatbread I've tasted. We also had the artichoke dip, which was the best that either of us have ever tasted. This is the kind of place every town should want in it. Great wine selection, perfect pulled espresso drinks, phenomenal homemade chocolate, delicious small plates.
