Our first time coming here this afternoon and to sum it up WE WILL BE BACK most notably two things that I really enjoyed number one is I'm a big eater and trust me with your meal you get plenty to eat. The second thing is when I order barbecue chicken I like it barbecued on the grill and then served I don't like when people give you chicken and then cover it barbecue sauce. Oh yeah and make sure to get the macaroni salad as your side dish you will enjoy it. Remember this is not fast food but it is worth the wait read more

Love the fried rice here. It is always perfect. I also love the location. It's easily accessible.

Came with some co workers for our lunch break, and wanted to try this place out. I ordered the spam fried rice and also their steak tacos. Both were very good and flavorful. One thing about this place is portions are big here, and the price is phenomenal for the quality and the amount you get here. Service was very top notch too and very polite. These place give you that food truck feel but restaurant version, since they did start out as a food truck. Will continue to go and tell everyone about this place if they haven't already. Cause this place does get busy during lunch. read more

Food was good. Kids ate the quesadilla and didn't touch their kids box with bbq chicken. Portions were generous. Bbq beef and spicy tofu were both good with rice and a classic macaroni salad rounded out the box. Service was attentive and friendly even from behind the register. Tables were small, so we put two together for our family. Great fast casual lunch spot. I save 5 stars for food that I dream about for years, but this place is a solid and I would recommend. read more

Ordered and his this afternoon via online for myself and coworkers. Fast, quick and easy! This is very convenient for skipping the lunch time rush hour. We ordered 2 chicken salads and 1 chicken plate. Both were very good with my favorite always being the macaroni salad. Today was perfect weather for patio dining. We will be back soon! read more

Husband and wife-owned restaurant serving Hawaiian, Asian, and Latin fusion cuisine. It's small and cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. I called in my order and it was hot and ready when I picked it up 20 minutes later. It was well-packaged and reasonably priced. Pretty much everything is $15 or less. I had the seasonal curry bowl with chicken. The curry was pretty thick, more like gravy, but it had good flavor. The portion could easily have been two meals. They have vegetarian options available as well. Next on my list to try is El Hawaiiano, which is their take on a Cuban sandwich. I've heard it's delicious! I will definitely be back! read more

A review long overdue. In my opinion, Kenji's has the best Hawaiian BBQ in town. By far my favorite menu items are the BBQ Chicken plate and the Hawaiiano, which is their version of the classic Cubano sandwich that uses Kalua pork. They have a garlic chili sauce that pair very well with most of their menu, and their rice is cooked just how I like -- soft, fluffy, and just slightly sticky. Some people may find the food too salty, but I have never thought it was any saltier than traditional Hawaiian eats. Normally I order takeout, but the times I do decide to dine-in, the restaurant itself is quaint with a chill vibe, and the staff is very friendly. On your first visit, you might find it charming that their kitchen quite literally looks like a food truck parked inside the building; which I believe is an homage to the roots of their business as a food truck. I have never been disappointed in my food here, and hence why it's a frequent go-to for my lunch. Definitely recommend the Hawaiiano, or the BBQ chicken plate if you just want something classic. read more

Kenjis is a solid sushi spot. Service was slow when I went but it was super busy. The rolls were well made.

Macaroni salad was amazing! Wish they didn't run out of bread so I could have tried the sandwich, but the Kalua pork was delicious just a little heavy on the cabbage. Clean little spot where you can sit and eat some good Hawaiian food. read more

Always fresh food for sure, made to order! I always order the chicken teriyaki with white rice and its great! I decided to try the pot stickers and they were good. I like them a bit more crunchy than soft, but they were good. I loved the pot sticker sauce as well. I only wish they sold bigger iced teas, even if it was a fountain drink. The staff are so very nice and I hope they do very well! read more

Beautiful food that made me clench my fist with every bite. I'm very confused how they were able to fit a truck in the building. Witnessing this made me feel cool and a bit wired, almost like I was in a movie set or something for a David Lynch film. If this is what Hawaii is like I'm definitely going with my pal Eric! Thanks guys will be back! read more

Joe was super nice, the food was superb, some of the best Hawaiian food I've had! Highly recommend.

This place is amazing from the Hawaiian mac salad to the tacos, Joe and his crew do an amazing job. We hosted their food truck at an event and nobody left hungry or disappointed. I think he runs it with his wife so great to support a local family business too. read more

So, I had spam fried rice which was really good. My friends order was not so good. She got kalau pork sandwich for her husband and asked for no coleslaw on it. It looked like they scraped off the coleslaw as there was a bit left and the pork was grayish and tasted like tuna. Weird. He was very unhappy because he was already hungry expecting food and had to get food aomewhere else. read more

I always loved their food and stalking their truck to random locations was always a delight. That said, I also love that they are consistently down the street from my office and I can order online! The menu always has the classics and then a special to two. Lately I've been obsessed with their cuban sandwiches - the Hawaiian cuban was amazing. The plate meals are always a winner too. I just picked up a jar of their salad dressing on my last visit. It's delicious and $7 for a jar is a great price. Ordering online and calling when you arrive makes pick up easy. They bring it straight out to your car with utensils and napkins. If you go inside make sure you check out the food truck - INSIDE! Such a cool feature. Stop by when you're in the area and treat yourself to a yummy lunch! read more

Very good chicken, decent beef (ok flavor, but at all tender), and really excellent rice if you like short-grain rice. Salad is also quite good, but really requires the dressing for it to be good. Waits times are pretty long if they're busy, so definitely order ahead if you don't want to wait (you can do it online or just call). Also, if you've never had spam musubi before and want a salty meat snack, it's worth trying it here. read more

Many of you may remember this exclusively as a food truck but their home base is located off Longley and you will miss it if you're not looking for it. When you find this gem you walk in and are greeted with not only the rich aroma filling the air but nothing less than a food truck inside, as well as quaint little "hut" where you place order. You're greeted with a smile and exchange pleasantries. If you have any questions they are always helpful. This evening for me and my mini we got the Hawaiian BBQ Beef, Hawaiian BBQ chicken & some spam rice for later. The wait is not long at all no matter the time of day you go and the food is steaming hot when it's delivered to you. You have the options of sides such as rice, Mac salad, coleslaw or side salad. WARNING. The side salad comes with a dressing that is completely addicting. Good thing you can purchase it by the bottle! The chicken has a rich teriyaki flavor. It is juicy yet falls apart in your mouth. The Mac salad compliments it well and is not overpowered by mayo. The beef is juicy as well with its own flavor profile. For the price it is most certainly worth it. If you can't eat it all in one sitting the flavors blossom overnight and the chicken is perfect to add to a salad the next day. read more

Another Food truck jumping into the brick and mortar space. And this time it seems they did a great job and blending the space and the concept of food truck with a regular space. I love the fun and funky decor. It might be a little "cramped" feeling from all of the walls and decorations but it also has a unique feeling that is so rare in this price point and level of food. If for all the work that went into the atmosphere they should get 5 stars alone. Kudos to whoever decked out this shop! The food was really good too. I can't pass up any opportunity to get a unique mac salad that has some connection to the islands. It's my favorite "Hawaiian" food. The prices wont beat your wallet up too bad so you can maybe even hit them up as a regular lunch choice. read more

Kanji's has been on my list of places to try, but unfortunately it's a bit away from our home. Today we happened to be 5 minutes away so we decided to do a takeout dinner. First off, the place is the cutest! It reminds me of little trendy cafe in Japan; a perfect date spot for young couples :-) and made me smile. Pork sandwiches and a chicken salad that we ordered were so good. We shared and enjoyed every bite! Next time ( that will be soon) I am getting fried udon.
