I have been coming here consistently for the past few months but recently I haven't had the best experience. First off, their materials don't look clean, I saw her use a file from the soiled box which is concerning especially because of covid and all the germs that spreads. The ladies rush their work and when I said I didn't like something instead of being understanding they look frustrated and rushed even more. They are aggressive while putting my hands into the uv lights and make various mistakes and when you try to correct them they get mad. I left the salon with a bumpy acrylic, a horrible shaping, cuts on fingers and nail polish left underneath my nails. They really need to work on their customer service skills, cleaning and their actual nail work. My hope is that when I go get my nails done it's supposed to be a relaxing experience but recently when going to Ken's nails I have been stressed out in that environment. For the amount you're spending you want to have a overall good experience. I just feel like this place have bad vibes now and I won't be returning. It's sad because I used to really like this place but it's not what it used to be. read more

I will never come here again. I called before to see how much my nails would cost and I was told $43 but when it came time to check out they tried to charge me $60. Anyone who is told $43 for nails and is then charged $60 would probably just as livid as I was. I then proceeded to tell them that o was told $43 and the lady who I talked to on the phone came out and told me to calm down. REALLY? Calm down? Do NOT tell me to calm down when you're charging me almost $20 more than what I expected to pay. Absolutely ridiculous. I also asked for my nails to be cut shorter and she literally just filed them, when I told her two of the fingers were uneven she only fixed one. I am obsessed! It's been over a year since I got my nails done (because of covid) but I finally decided to treat myself before my wedding. I scheduled an appointment for a full set and pedicure. Julie was so nice and helpful. She complimented my natural nails and suggested I keep my natural length instead of adding tips, which I'm so glad she did! She also helped me pick out the perfect nude shade. I'm so bad at picking colors so I was so happy she already had a color in mind that matched the design I wanted. She took great care in trying to copy the design in the photo I showed her and I'm so happy with the outcome :) Pedicure was also great, with a very relaxing massage and exfoliation. Ken Nails Spa is a quaint little nail spa in a small tucked-away plaza in West Dublin. Inside it is clean and cutely decorated. You need to make an appointment because they get booked up quick. The workers are kind, and do a good job. The pedicure I got was cool! They rubbed hot stones on my legs, haha. The prices are a little more expensive than the other nearby similar nail spas, but the difference is pretty negligible. I enjoyed my time there and could see myself going back! I was able to get a same day appointment for powder dipped. It was pretty pricey compared to other businesses in Dublin. Parking can be a hassle depending on the day and time. Overall I won't be returning since the girl that did my nails wasn't very friendly. She seemed preoccupied and didn't hold a conversation. The way the powdered dipped was applied was way too thick. I might as well have gotten acrylics. The surface is lumpy and not smooth at all. I don't know if she was having an off day or what. I'd pass on a $55 powdered dip service here. read more

My new go to nail salon. Came in for acrylics fill as my acrylics from a previous salon I went to didn't work out well, and I'm beyond happy with the nails I came out with. There was so much attention to detail, and although the service was miraculous fast, it's the best I've seen in a while. Staff is very nice and courteous, and fit me in quickly day of. Massage is quick and light. You don't get a relaxing foot / leg massage. Massage chairs available and working. This place is great for a 30 min manicure or pedicure. I personally love the long skinny coffin shape and she shapes it perfectly every single time. Cheap. Clean: they open up all instruments in front of you. So I came here with a different cousin for a wedding manicure and pedicure. I basically only get a mani/pedi when I go to weddings (once a year). I kept trying to book appointments, and they are so slammed that (a) they never called me back, (b) they didn't pick up the phone half the times I called, and (c) only had availability two days out at 3pm. Upon getting there, I started with my pedi with one person. She cut one of my cuticles so short that it bled for five minutes. We went through three cotton balls, and the cuticle hurt for four days. As she put my flipflops on, the pedicure got smeared. A different person did my mani, and she seemed a lot more careful. My manicure has been gorgeous and lasted 2 weeks so far without chips. Clearly this place is popular, but making an appointment is too much work. Also, the quality is highly dependent upon who you get and how many people are going through there. read more

I came with my friend to get my acrylics and a pedicure. They did a great job! I didn't catch the name of my manicurist but she was speedy but a perfectionist. She finished my nails in under an hour and constantly checked in with me to make sure I liked them. I also really like how they had a big tv you could watch from any part of the salon. I decided last minute to get my toes done and he did a great job despite me having literal gremlin toes lol. I would totally come back again. Out of Alamo-Danville-San Ramon- Dublin. This is by far number 1. Also make sure to call for an appointment because they are BUSY! They also take Venmo for payment which is nice but make sure to bring cash tip (per usual). My esthetician giving me a pedicure needed up cutting the skin on my toe making it bleed. I opted for a deluxe pedicure with salt scrub which I felt like they barely rubbed into my skin. Loved my service. I got a new full gel set. Kim did an incredible job. She really took the time to shape my coffin nails perfectly for my nail type. Also, they were very happy to add the ombré style. Usually when I go to a salon and ask for a design change last minute they get really annoyed but Kim was happy to do it and even suggested a pink base coat which I loved. Definitely coming back here.
