Basically it went from being like chipotle, where you get your fresh ingredients the way you want them, to being like Taco Bell, where everything is already done when you get there and if you don't like it, that's your problem. This used to be such a great place for gluten-free eaters. Now if I want a gluten-free bagel, the only thing I am allowed to have on it is cream cheese. Period. I won't eat here anymore.

Lots of juices with 1 or 2 ingredients. I like getting snacks here for my daughter's lunch because they're not filled with junk. It reminds me of my childhood grocery shopping experiences with my Mom. The aisles are wide, brightly lit, and airy. There is always someone stocking who gladly lends a hand or just shoots the breeze with you. The produce and bakery sections are neat and clean. The meat and seafood counter is a throwback to the old grocery stores where you aren't afraid to ask for a specific cut. The cashier's are often local high school youth at their first job. Even the belts in the store are the older style. Now, as much as I love the old school vibe, they are up on their stuff. They have all of the trendy new grocery store items. You can shop in store, you can pick up pre-ordered groceries, or you can get your things via Instacart. I typically pick up or use Instacart. I like using Instacart because they are one of the few stores that do not hike up their prices when you opt for pick up or Instacart. I literally took off a star because they no longer have that yummy Biscoff ice cream bar that I love. No one does though!

Lidl was a chain started in Germany originally and then expanded all across Europe and now in 31 countries. You will find things here you wont find elsewhere and if you like European goods, you will definitely find some treasures here. The prices here are good, so thats one of the reasons that brings me in. But, also, they carry Greek, Spanish, French, Portuguese and other ex US products here which makes it fun to shop here and uncover new treasures! This store has limited edition section and it was fun to browse that as they have some European items that looked quite interesting, most Greek & French products. I took a look around their frozen section and even saw they had some frozen escargot (snails), which was super interesting for me to see! I didnt get any this time around, but may get some when I am back home. They also have lot of fresh flowers and plants for sale here and lovely to see these options for sale! My only gripe about this place is that everytime you come into the store, the fresh produce section always looks like a disaster and the floors super dirty. I wish they would clean this area up a bit better and make it more visually appealing. How hard is it to remove some empty boxes, mop the floors regularly and arrange the produce in an orderly manner? Id definitely come back again and always there is something interesting to discover.

This whole process took longer than if I would have done myself. When I was leaving I asked why he checked my items at self check and was told he was trying to move the line. There was no line before I got there or when I left. Customer service was very disappointing. I worked@grocery stores for 20 years and understand how they work and that was just rude.
