I just got the best cheeseburger sub I ever had. I called my order in and they said it would be ready in 3 minutes. It took about 7 minutes to get there and it was ready when I walked in. Very friendly staff. They go out of their way to make sure you're happy. I would go there more often but I'd get fatter then I already am. I've never been disappointed with anything about this place. Plus Mart is surprisingly an inconspicuous sandwich shop hidden in the back of a liquor store. Let me tell you, the Italian deluxe sandwich is very fresh and one of the best Italian subs I've had in the area. My husband ordered the Lotta Sub, which is ham, turkey, roast beef and two different cheeses. He definitely enjoyed his sandwich as well. The meats and cheeses are fresh and a perfect portion to the bread to meat ratio. Then I grabbed some potato salad and Mac salad to try and I'm glad we did. A little hint of sweet and savory, just like I like it. Also in the fridge, was a tempting slice of blueberry cheesecake which was also very satisfying treat. All I can say is wow! What a hidden gem in Frederick tucked away in a shopping center. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the gentleman took my order. The service is amazing and you won't wait long for your order as the sandwich took about 2-3 minutes to make while I browsed the local beer selection. I ordered the Italian Deluxe Sub (9" sub). You can also get most of the subs on sandwich bread if you don't want the sun. The sandwich came loaded with meats, cheese, and veggies along with oils, vinegar, and hot peppers. You really get alot of bang for your buck. I also ordered a side of chicken noodle soup. The soup was SO good with lots of white and dark chicken, thick noodles, and chunky vegetables. The soup was very hearty and paired well with my cold sub. In total I spent about $13 ($8.50 for the sub). There is a great variety of beer, wine, and liquor in the store as well. I hadn't been here in a couple years, mainly due to the fact that their wine prices are high & they were out of stock of Kahlua the last time I was there. But this time I went there to get something to eat. I remembered their shrimp salad was superb with big chunks of fresh shrimp so I decided to try it again. What a disappointment. It was made of the little canned shrimp and way too much Old Bay, even for a native Baltimorean. I also got a small salad which ended up being a big bowl of iceberg lettuce, 1/2 boiled egg, 1 grape tomato & 1/2 slice of swiss cheese for $2.99. This is not just a liquor store. There is a little deli in the back where they make subs, salads, sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I've had the Italian, steak n cheese (both good for the price.). I also had the cheeseburger sub and for a microwaved burger it was the best sub I've had from them for $6.99. I will definitely get it again. The staff is always friendly and they always offer to help with everything. I have been stopping there for alcohol for about a year, and was always hesitant to try the deli. I wish I would have tried it sooner. Give it a shot, you may like it. read more

The owner of this restaurant / liquor store knows his stuff. We talked about wine and beer for 20 minutes and he helped me with every selection. And they have a some of the best deals on wine you can find. Food......always good. Best tuna salad in Frederick, awesome grilled chicken sub...food is GOOD. And prices are absolutely reasonable. Oh, and for lovers of good, simple cup of coffee...always good here also. Cigar smokers...there is enough of a wide assortment of cigars that are VERY reasonable priced. I wanted to order something from the deli to take to a party. The gal at the deli counter completely ignored me and was more concerned with cutting and eating from a birthday cake behind the counter. She looked at me and quickly looked backed to the cake and cut away. I waited about 5 minutes then walked away.
