Wife and I were in town staying at the Inn. We checked out several restaurants in the area. This one was the worst. The gal working there was very nice, but the place had problems. 1. I ordered a cold cut sub, this usually means you get ham, turkey and capicollo, mine had ham, just ham. 2. The sub had less than 2 ounces of the (only one kind of) meat... On a 12" sub... What? See the pic, the bit of meat you do see is only toward the open side of the sandwich, the back half had just mayo and mustard. 3. Place was ok on cleanliness, but for a place that prepares and serves food, no masks were worn. Random dog walking through the dining room several times. Had a vest on, so he must have been working, but no human around watching him, and he ran back to the back (same place my food came from)... 5. Employees stood around in the dining room a few feet from us talking about having a lot of huge flies in there today, and needing a fly swatter to make them dead flies. Great, now all I can think of is how many flies were crawling on my ham (the only meat in a cold cut sub) before I ate it. After this fly conversation, wife and I just got up and left,she didn't even finish her sandwich. read more

I heard great things about going here so I figured why not. I'll never be back. I love supporting small businesses but not when they sell expired stuff and don't wear shoes. The guy making food and running the register had no shoes on he was walking around with socks on, absolutely disgusting. It took almost an hour to get a sub, hot dog and club..... I got home and took a sip of my drink, it tasted funny so I check the expiration date , it expired March 2021. I'm writing this in March 2022..... A year expired! I also asked for no tomatoes and of course they put tomatoes on it.... read more

AMAZING BREAKFAST! My mother and I took a chance on this unassuming little mart that also said it was a diner. I was skeptical based on appearances but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the three egg veggie omelet with sausage and was blown away! This is hands down the best omelet I have ever eaten and the white jalapeño cheese sauce was the cherry on top! The egg was cooked perfectly and the veggies were perfectly cooked as well. There was the perfect amount of veggies, sausage and cheese in each bite. The chef/manager came out to talk to us to see how we liked our food and it was obvious she is proud of her food as she well should be! If you are ever in Boonesboro and looking for a great breakfast-look no further than this place! The second picture is my mother's breakfast which I didn't get to try because by the time I looked up from my own breakfast, hers was gone! She said it was amazing as well!! read more

This place is absolutely fabulous. The menu has fantastic breakfast options and a vast selection of entrees and sandwiches. The pretzel from the appetizer menu is absolutely the best pretzel I have ever had. The staff are prompt, nice, knowledgeable and fun. The Diner also has a store within. A selection of candy and novelty items. This is a must if you are in the Washington County area. I highly recommend! read more

Great food! But a restaurant should smell good bc of the food, not a powerful air freshener that sets off my asthma.

We were out on an adventure, hiking on South Mountain. We came across one of those places that is just pure Americana. Being New Years Day, we did not have been options but we came across some of the best food in Western MD. We go hiking in Western Maryland year round so we are very thankful to discover this place. The food is awesome. The portion sizes are solid, very good service, homemade people, well priced and a very diverse menu. The service was really good, waitress knew the menu and offered suggestions. This is by definition what I expect from a non-chain location. We will be coming back, this is just a charming place with awesome food! I rate this a hidden diamond and a must visit. read more

This mini mart puts the convinence in convinence store. There is a deli and there is a AC&T but why not have a one stop place to get both. This convinence store is going to be huge they have a new diner in the back they are building that is going to be amazing. There is no limit on this company's potential. There is an amazing women who runs this store and she is the nicest you will meet also a girl named Jessica works there and is the sweetest. You will get personal kind service that will keep you coming. The one star review is a troll. There is a cat but the owner keeps it upstairs and when it does come down it never enters the kitchen. Please stop by and tell all of your freinds and family about this new growing business. I'm might be over doing it but I am just a satisfied customer. I have to give this place a 5! My sister and I were passing thru town when she noticed this restaurant. The food was amazing--the coffee was wonderful and kept flowing and the owner was extremely friendly as was the waitress. My meatball sub was wonderful and my sister loved her soup. It's not fancy but so welcoming with an authentic small town feel! I felt like I was eating with family. Great prices to boot! read more

I would not recommend eating here. They have a cat that just roams around freely. A friend and I were eating and she had cat hair in her food! We ordered fries as well and they tasted like they were microwaved. Bad experience, won't be returning. read more

I am so psyched this place is here on our side of town. I just met the owner Michelle and she has great food made to order. Today we had a huge Turkey Club and some homemade cole slaw from her grandmother's recipe. Michelle was also wonderful with my 3 year-old daughter who was having a little moment until Michelle brought out her dog which brought out a smile from my daughter. Great selection, great service.
