Second time around to this wonderful restaurant!! Where do I start ?…read more Food was once again excellent !!! Specifically my own meal. The squash ravioli was to die for ! Pasta done to the tooth ! Sauce complimented the pasta not overwhelmed it. I accompanied it an appropriate red wine and just a delightful experience. My husband had the steak sandwich (6oz). Steak done perfectly , and other then a little too much mayo it was also delightful. Our guest had chicken Alfredo with Linguine also a very delicious meal. Our guest had a pice of new York cheese cake for her birthday. It was very good , from the small nibble I tried. The service was once again amazing. TRAVIS Our waiter is a very friendly , well spoken and personable young man. He ironically was our server the first we were there and was just as delightful. 10 s up Travis !! The Ambiance was nice... not too loud and easy to communicate at the table with one another. My ONLY suggestion honestly ( and not."negitive") per se ... is a little extra cleaning in off hours. Window ledges ( as booths are along there) , lights above the tables and some attention to both bathrooms through shifts. We all know , when your as good as this restaurant the foot traffic can be heavey ! Anyhow... will be back 100% ! Thank you again for a great experience from some local residence !

We took my Dad to this place off Lundy's Lane…read more It offers traditional Pub Grub. The place looked like a converted Goodyear tire with the owners retaining the glass doors so they can expand on to a patio in summer. Our orders were : - Classic Ruben sandwich with house salad - 2 lbs of naked wings with onion rings - Wings & Ribs combo My spouse loved the Ruben. It came out hot and fast. There was plenty of meat and sauerkraut. The rye bread held it all together. The house salad was good too but my wife struggled to finish her sandwich so the salad was boxed. The tables beside us also ordered the Ruben and the salad was left untouched. My Dad had the wings and ribs. My Dad generally does not have lunch but all that was left was a pile of bones (ribs/wings). He really liked the meal. Mine was the 2 lbs of wings. I had mine naked with the sauce on the side. I had sweet chilli and BBQ. These wings are the jumbos. So while you might kit get 10 per lbs in the end you are getting closer to 2 lbs of meat vs bones. I really like their onion rings. My only complaint was the portion. Clearly fries gets you the most for your dollar. My only regret was they had sticky toffee pudding on the menu and crème Brulé which I also wanted to try. Next time.

I ordered my burger with onion rings, and if you're a fan of A&W-style onion rings, you'll likely enjoy these as well. They were crispy, tasty, and a great side to the meal. The only issue I experienced was finding a hair on my burger. Fortunately, it was only on the onion, so I was able to remove it and continue eating. While it didn't ruin my meal, it's something to pay closer attention to. Overall, I had a positive experience. The affordable beer, good food, and reasonable prices make it a place I'd consider visiting again, despite the hair issue.

We visited for lunch and had a wonderful experience overall!…read more The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food was very good. We ordered oysters, crab cakes, cocktails, and French onion soup. Everything was delicious except for the onion soup, which was barely warm. It definitely could have been served hotter, especially since the cheese on top hadn't even melted properly. One of the highlights was the absolutely stunning view of Niagara Falls, especially the magnificent Horseshoe Falls! The view was breathtaking and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved it! Aside from that, everything was great! The atmosphere, service, food quality, and prices offered excellent value for money. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the steaks this time, but they looked absolutely delicious, and the prices seemed very reasonable. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with spectacular views, great service, and excellent value for money. We would definitely love to come back!

Anyway, they looked pretty full but we got a seat immediately. Sandra was very attentive to us throughout the meal. I ended up getting a small Caesar salad and asked for grilled chicken on top. My husband got a side Caesar with his huge burger. We both enjoyed our food and the restaurant, although full, was quiet. The decor was nice too. We would definitely eat at a Turtle Jacks again.

We got there shortly before 5:00 on a Saturday, before the dinner rush, and were seated immediately. I'd say service definitely improved since their opening. Our waitress was very attentive & helpful. While eating, we also had someone else, possibly the manager, stop at our table to ask how everything was. I ordered the spices crispy chicken sandwich with a side salad. My husband got the Canadiana burger. We shared an order of poutine. First off. Portions were huge & brought home half the food. The chicken was as described, crispy. Though I didn't get much spice flavor. The cabbage slaw and aioli were the perfect toppings. The poutine order was more than enough for 2 people. They didn't skimp on the cheese curds. The gravy was OK. I thought it was interesting that the middle of the room was filled with recliner type chairs. You can get a drink and enjoy one of the many sporting events on their numerous screens. Overall, decent food and good service. There was a long line when we left. Not sure how service might change with the larger crowd. 2024-29

Our food took a little long to arrive but our waitress was pleasant and friendly. First to come out was my son's burger & fries, as well as my roasted mushroom soup. The soup was delicious - not one spoonful was left in the bowl! As far as my son, he didn't care for his food. He said the burger tasted weird and didn't have much flavor. He devoured the fries, though. Our entrees arrived shortly thereafter. My husband and I had no complaints! He enjoyed the 1989 Burger and garlic parmesan fries. I got the thai green curry with shrimp. Omg! I'm a green curry connoisseur and this was some of the best I've ever had. I especially enjoyed the coconut rice and the mushrooms in the dish!
