CT warm lobster roll on toasted butter bun with fries. Cole slaw side dish

By the sea, by the beautiful sea. Kelly's Sea Level is not on the water but with the nice tent covered outdoor dining patio who cares. The "sea" refers to their many Sea Level food options. The outdoor patio had 5 tables set up as fours but could easily fit 6 people. There was one table with umbrella outside the front door entrance. News of a good lobster roll here has made it a destination I had to visit. The all "meat" Connecticut Lobster Roll at $27.95 in warm butter on a new England buttered roll is by far the best I've had in Westchester County. Nice big chunks of lobster dressed in butter, not drenched so that the toasted roll stayed in tack. The item and price are listed on the printed menu. None of that BS, Market price crap so many restaurants add to the menu for Lobster rolls. I can't wait to return for the Maine Lobster roll (cold with mayo and old bay seasoning). My first time won't be my last, lots of reasonably priced appetizers, drinks, entrees and desserts I want to go back to. Bloody Mary's, meatloaf sandwich with gravy and melted Swiss plus take out Carrot Cake made for a very nice Father's Day lunch celebration. All desserts were $6 or less. Where are you going for that? I've paid upwards of $12 for Carrot cake that was inferior to the slices we took home. I don't know if it's made in house but either way it was a nice slice and good.

Kelly's Sea Level is a great little spot! An Irish-style pub, essentially in the basement of an older home of a mostly residential area in Rye. It took a little while for food to come, but when it did arrive everything was hot and delicious! Burgers were good but next time I'm going for the lobster roll! Great outdoor seating area, bar, and limited dining room seating. This is great place to come whether it's a warm spring day or snowy winter night. Side note: Everyone was super friendly in the restaurant. It's definitely a neighborhood place; several fellow patrons initiated conversations with us. It was great!

Yelp has the closing time wrong, they are open until 11pm if not later everyday depending on day of the week.

Now that we've been, I can absolutely see why. The ambiance is great. Love the decor and it generally feels like a nice place for a date night or even just a nice night out with friends. The staff is attentive and very nice. But the food. The food was amazing. We started with the Little Mezze with the grilled bread and we also got the char grilled octopus. Both were amazing. We sat and ranked each dish on the little mezze, because it was all fantastic. Complex yet clean flavors in each dish. The eggplant was just a delightful, complex, balanced dish. The grilled octopus was possibly the best octopus I have ever had. The char had a great flavor. It was perfectly tender. We next had the schnitzel and the beet salad with salmon on top. The schnitzel was so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The salmon was so nicely cooked on top of the salad. We saved room for dessert and had the sundae and the cheesecake and they were completely different and both stupidly good and very unique. This place was overall amazing. Homerun and one of the best dining experiences as of late and a definite must come back.

It smells so strong you cannot imagine eating anything while smelling it. Why are they not using any of the many non smelling cleaners available? Like every other restaurant!?! Please Tellys!!! I actually love their food most of the time and would go there more often if not for this issue. Sometimes the calamari and octopus are not as fresh as they could be which of course is a big problem. They need to coordinate with their other restaurant to make the ingredients always fresh!!! Love the marousalata, grilled octopus (sometimes) and many of their other dishes. If they did better marketing or PR (youre right next to the town of Greenwich where people love and can afford your food but no one has heard of you!) they would have more customers and likely fresher food! My suggestions: 1. Stop using fabuloso- clean with a smell-free product 2. Only fresh food always (no old seafood or meat! Dangerous!) 3. Marketing and PR!

I rarely give 5 stars on a single visit because for me the 5th star is all about consistency. A place that is great 1 time and poor the next shouldn't have 5 stars, but if it's always great then it definitely should stand out. Telly's was just so amazing that there's no way it won't always be great. Can't wait to go back. Recommendations for food: Octopus was the best I've ever had. Grilled haloumi cheese was incredible. Moussaka was excellent. Chicken and lamb skewers were great (be sure to add Tzatziki!) Excellent Greek food with plenty of other options. Huge seafood menu if you like seafood. As for the food , I had the fried chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed . Absolutely delicious. My first time having fried pickles and I am hooked . Collard greens delicious . Fried calamari cooked to perfection. My old-fashioned drink was enjoyable . If I'm knit picking, I would say it could've been a little more balanced, but again, not disappointed. Good food, great ambience and the place just had a very welcoming and warm feeling what more could a customer want? This is definitely a place I'll be returning too and I strongly recommend anyone to give them a try and see for yourself. Restaurants are such a tough business, but this place gets it and they deserve all the success that may comes their way.
