I'm looking for weekly pool maintenance/service, Kelly's was highly recommended. I called him on 4/20/22. We talked about my inquiry. He stated he would be out in my area the next day, would stop to look at my pool and provide an estimate. He asked that I text my information and we would respond with an appointment time. He explained that he didn't have his calendar available at the moment. Following the call, I sent the text, which was read. However, I didn't get a response. The next day, I sent a follow-up text, which was read. Still, no response. If this is how this business provides customer service, good to know now! Kelly is the guy you want to use for all of your pool needs. I can honestly say this will be the only guy we call for the life of our pool. Kelly is the most ethical and honest business guy we have ever encountered. He is honest if something actually needs to be repaired, when it should be repaired and will give you a full list of options with accurate pricing. We have never felt like we were being sold anything. We are far from pool experts as this is our first pool to own. Kelly has been educating us along the way without making us feel like we should know any of it already. We also hired Kelly for a full pool restoration/resurfacing and I can't tell you enough that this is the guy you need for that project. He was very patient with us as we decided exactly what we wanted to do (we went from plaster to Stonescapes, mini pebble). We also had the mastic around the pool and decking replaced. He communicated 100% of everything we needed to know all along the way. He was very hands on with the entire project and oversaw every single part of it. The cleanup from the project was better than what you could expect (totally clean area after the project) and the pool looks even more amazing than we had hoped. I wish I could add pics here. Our pool looks like an oasis now. Also, the estimate we were given is exactly what we paid. There were no surprises and the entire project was a breeze for us (started and finished really quickly ~4 days total). As most people do, we got quotes from several companies before deciding on the pool resurfacing. Kelly is the most competitive on that front as well. We also researched the pool experts that provided quotes and felt a little concerned about the 2 negative reviews (for Kelly) listed on this site. As for that, I can say with near certainty that I believe those to be fake reviews. I am not sure why someone would do that (competitors maybe?) but if you look at the people who left those reviews, they only have 1 or 2 reviews and they signed up the month they left the review for Kelly (and haven't posted since nearly a year later). Pretty sure they are fakes so don't let that scare you. As he did for us, Kelly will provide you with plenty of references and examples of his work and work ethic. All of the references we reached out to had nothing but the very best to say for Kelly. You won't find a better or more honest pool guy. I feel certain that won't find better pricing or quality of work either. We won't bother with quotes of other companies going forward. This is our pool guy for all of our pool needs. read more

We bought a home with a pool in North Arlington at the tail end of summer. We needed some quick training so we would know what to do in regards to cleaning and maintaining the pool and pump system. Kelly's was the only service to give me a reasonable date and price. He worked around my schedule outside of his regular schedule. Since that day we have only taken estimates on a couple of other items, but we have always used Kelly. He is totally honest. If you think you need something and he knows of a better cheaper method then he will share that with you. He even came out to check on our squealing pump and told us that our home warranty should cover it. He didn't make a dime where he could have made several hundred dollars. Most recently we had Kelly resurface our pool. He provided a long list of references and even took us to see one if his more recent jobs. Kelly is very patient and honest. His resurfacing estimate came in at a very comfortable spot and we got on his schedule right away. He explained the process and kept us updated as the work was done. Horrible. I complained that my pool was not being cleaned as it was when my service first started. After that I started getting billed for extra services I never authorized when I approached him on the situation he says if it wasn't authorized they wouldn't have done it. Well then who authorized it? Not me! After doing my homework I have found others that have had the same problem with them . Guess I'll hire me an atty and join in with the others. Sad that people can't do an honest work these days. I pay for what I request but will never pay for something I didn't request and never if someone bully's me into paying. read more

First of all let me say, I have NEVER written a review before however; I feel I have no choice. We moved into a home that Kelly had been servicing. We know they were servicing it because we saw their weekly pool cleaning tags at the home. When we purchased the home we called them a total of 3 times. The first two times I left a message for a return call; no response. The third time my sister called and he picked up. He said he was driving and would call her back to schedule an appointment. It's been over a week and we have yet to get a return call. Prior to us purchasing this home we did notice a leak in the pool equipment; it was supposedly "fixed" prior to our purchasing the home. Needless to say the leak had returned; so we called him to look at it. We have now had a pool man out and found that multiple issues are wrong including pool cleaner that is not working. At this point I believe that Kelly was aware of all of these issues and only patched up the work; possibly per the previous home owner. If this is how he conducts his business I do not know how this business is still open. read more
